Personally I really like her new in-game design for DAI. And I've always thought she looked super hot from the Scared Ashes trailer, even hotter than in DA:O itself - where she still looks good!

She's got a baby face in that last one which would be fine if she had one before, but alas she did not.
That's my issue with it as well. Why does Morrigan now look like she's 17 when it has been 11 or 12 years since the events of DA:O? Her character model in that last image actually looks younger than she looked in DA:O.
I hope the last one isn't her actual appearance in the game. It doesn't even look like her.

I was never a fan of her appearance generally speaking, but I like the promo pic where she's in Orlais (with the Orlesian like dress).
Her mom is hotter. Despite being a thousand years older.

It boggles my mind that people can like the 2nd one (her vanilla DA:O appearance) over the 4th one or, indeed, any of the others.
Her eyes are tiny in her vanilla DA:O appearance. Freakishly tiny. Thank god for Dragon Age Redesigned.

i like the third picture the most, also dl a mod so she would look more like the morrigan from that trailer. i think it just fits her, it was the first time we saw morrigan and when you booted the game up for the first time, she didn't look anything like the trailer. Also, the same about morrigans look can be said of leliana.
PS the sacred ashes trailer "the 3rd pic morrigan" both leliana and morrigan faces were from real models, which i always thought was kinda cool. kinda like shepard

I don't think she's "ew" in any of these, but my personal favorite is the 4th one. I think she looks more the age she's supposed to be while still being beautiful and pretty closely resembling her appearance in DAO.

She looks like a woman in the DA:O screenshot.
In the last one she looks like a teenager.

My fave is the Sacred Ashes look, she's so charismatic. She somehow reminds me of Emma Stone.

Do male characters' appearance also being criticized with different threads, or is it just females?
Where have you been? This is the BSN, if anything, the males get criticized far for their appearance than the females.
And I like the last image the best. The 4th view from the DA: I announcement trailer is terrible. It makes it look like morrigan didn't age well. I'm glad she appears to look much better in game.

And for people complaining about she looking too young... My boss is near her forties and looks like she on her mid twenties, I guess some women (or some people) are like that, unaffacted by the "woe of aging".

The third one is a pretty unflattering screengrab. Any of her faces are fine. but my preference would be #4

You know I honestly like all of them. I am not sure if the last one is clear enough to get a good sense of what she actually looks like in game though. I think 4 and 5 are the best because she looks more her age in them. I never got all the bother about 4, she looked fine in that trailer.

The DAO version is my favorite. The DAI version - based on that screenshot you posted - is alright.

The one you called "Eew!" and "Meh." were my favorites. I even had a mod in DA:O that gives Morrigan her Sacred Ashes face and robe.

She was supposed to be a teenager in DAO. Her very late teens, but a teenager nonetheless. She's only in her late 20s now.

When was it ever stated she was a teenager in DAO?

I like all of them to be honest. The Sacred Ashes one looks to be the most unique looking, or rather one with a lot of personality. Here's a more flattering picture from that trailer:
Anyway, I'm loving how she looks in DA:I. The one "ew" one you pointed out for the three from DA:I is the one that I actually think appears to be more around her age. The last pic makes her look younger, but that was only a quick glimpse in the trailer. The angle / lighting could make it appear that way as well.
