When was it ever stated she was a teenager in DAO?
That's one of the notes that you find when you play around with the game.
No she wasn't. She was in her mid to late twenties.
Pretty sure DG said otherwise.

It boggles my mind that people can like the 2nd one (her vanilla DA:O appearance) over the 4th one or, indeed, any of the others.
Her eyes are tiny in her vanilla DA:O appearance. Freakishly tiny. Thank god for Dragon Age Redesigned.

She was supposed to be a teenager in DAO. Her very late teens, but a teenager nonetheless. She's only in her late 20s now.
If she were 18 in DA:O, and that screenshot was taken from DA:O, that appearance wouldn't be an issue. It is an issue however because it is from DA:I, Morrigan is 11 or 12 years older than she was in DA:O, and because she looks younger in that screenshot than she did in DA:O.
As much as people griped about the 4th one, it actually looked like Morrigan from the first game only a few years older. The last image doesn't really look like her and is a bit of a retcon of her DA:O appearance.

I wasn't able to dig up a dev post on Morrigan's age in DA:O, but I did come across a few different people posting that Gaider had said Morrigan was in her twenties. Anyone remember where that info might have come from? Was it a BSN post or Twitter?

I don't see the resemblance at all between her DA:O appearance and the first appearance in DA:I. It looked like two different people, and someone far close to Claudia Black. To me, the newest version looks just like what Morrigan would have looked like in DA:I if it weren't for the fact that she should be 12 years older.

I can't find anything concrete, but I don't think there's any ground for seeing her as 27-29. Even as a socially isolated hermit, she's far too naive and inexperienced to be a proper adult.

More importantly, his timeline just doesn't work if he's much older. He was with Eamon, got shunted off to the templars while he was still a child(ish, might have been in his teens?) were he never finished his training (but did acquire the skills, so he was close), and then was only a GW for about a year or so at most before Ostagar. It makes no sense for templar training to take 10-15 years.

Early twenties would be my guess as well.
Other than Wynne I think Leliana is supposed to be your oldest human companion. IIRC someone (Wynne?) comments on Leliana being older than she looks.

Leliana says she's older than she looks, but as she was born briefly before the Orlesian occupation ended, she's likely not that much older than Morrigan.

I like all of them to be honest. The Sacred Ashes one looks to be the most unique looking, or rather one with a lot of personality. Here's a more flattering picture from that trailer:

Anyway, I'm loving how she looks in DA:I. The one "ew" one you pointed out for the three from DA:I is the one that I actually think appears to be more around her age. The last pic makes her look younger, but that was only a quick glimpse in the trailer. The angle / lighting could make it appear that way as well.
Wow She looks like Emma Stone in that picture!
