Yeah, it sounds more like the name of a character in a Soap Opera than a quasi-medieval noble.
But the great thing about default given names in Bioware games is that you don't have to keep 'em.

A Kirkwall Amell marrying a Ostwick Trevelyan seems pretty plausible to me, before Gamlen lost everything of course.
Or mage!Trevelyan was a friend/lover/enemy/family to one of Revka Amell's kids.
Just think if we had Charade Amell for a companion and romance option...oh the possibilities.

Although i am so excited to play qunari as well as the dwarves and elves, my first character will be a male human mage, he will have some beliefs in the chantry, but be fighting to free mages from the shackles of the chantry and their templar order. I don't really know about names though, i usually go with the preset names, like garret and aedan from previous games, but if the Hmale name is maxwell, then that's just a no go, so maybe Corvo Trevelyan, i know my warrior hmale will be Sarim, after the first known cousland ancestor.
