its a time and resource issue. Modders have time and theorectically a infinate budget so they can do things that the devs cant due to time/resources constraints

Almost wish i played pc but im happy with my 360 XD

Huhuh...wonder if you say that if the game turn out to be moddable....and we get.....a bi Vivi...

You will go bonker ! I can bet on that !

considering that there was an incest mod to let you romance, bethany. then it wouldn't be surprising if they add romance opitions.  The game will be modable, make no doubt about that. the question is just how mod friendly is it.

Not sure about 15, but somewhere between 5 and 10 is acceptable for different outfits that is perfectly acceptable. Maybe 15 if either loads and loads and loads of outfits or they take the time to animate more fancier dresses/opulant suits.

my head would explode (think about it, its a monkey joke)

And im told FB3 is very difficult to mod but again i wouldnt mind a viv mod(just not the WW ones those are just grossly offensive). I really hope though that the modders make really nice ones too

and i thought my "head" joke went too far... idc what consenting adults do in private but **** sometimes people should keep some fantasy private. Incest very sensitive issue and that mod is just odd

*Note i am not negativly judging or saying x people are bad or gross just saying. Its not for me

I am not saying that I support that, gods no. I am just saying that if people found time to do that, then I am sure that there will be people who might work on modding it so that Vivi can be romancable.

Anyways back to Orlesian Extravagance. Since we know from the skyhold stream that we can decorate our castle, I wonder if the Orleasian options will be more fanciful then some of the other choices?

We do know though that orlais has a color pallet of gold, blue, silver and laqure as the main defining colors.

Also speaking of choices, I wonder if we might get other nation sort of symbols? Ie, I am rping at the moment till I get more information that my human rouge has relatives from Nevarra, so if that was an opiton to reflect that would be cool, or what ever coat of arms ostwick/trevlyan family has :P

I'd love some really fancy robes like Vivienne's to wear while adventuring, and of course I need that AMAZINGLY FANCY bed for my room in skyhold, I will hold fancy tea parties in it and be posh.

But very sad we can't wear dresses to the ball. QnQ I swear, if they give us a very ugly man outfit for femquisitor I'll be so mad! The MOTA outfit was horrid, even if we can't have a dress, maybe a skirt? Or something with a beautiful open neckline? All I know is that if everyone other female character is wearing a dress besides my PC, I'll be a tad tiffed. I just want to play a girly girl thrust into being a hero!

Well you are in luck, Tevinter decore options are one of the many choices you can choose from. Most of my human rogue's decor will be Andrastian chantry but that is because she is a devoted member. :)

Dragon-age-concept06_zps4ddd3c33.png

Hello everyone! I am wondering if I am the only one in this situation...

Here's the thing. I want fancy outfits for my Inquisitor in Dragon Age Inquisition!

In Dragon Age Origins, I used to play a female mage and I hated the outfits styles for the dresses and the robes. They were sooo medieval! Bleh! All Brown and tubular... I liked the hats though...

In Dragon Age 2, my female mage Hawke got finally her wonderful armor, but still, I would have liked to be able to change her outfits from times to times... There was this party she attented with Tallis where her outfit was horrible! (come on, I thought she was wearing male clothes! bleh again!!!) I always wondered why they did not gave her a wonderful cocktail dress, since hawke was wearing something very nice when she was visiting her estate....

Now, in Dragon Age Inquisition,  I want my female mage to have something orlesian to wear! And not an armor! I'm dreaming about a dress very fancy with jewels! I know, I know, there may be not time to wear this when the fate of the world will be in her hands. But, we don't know yet, maybe we'll get the chance to attend an orlesian bal with Morrigan and Celes?

Owww, this would be wonderful! Even for male characters. I'm sure there is place to give our heroes some outfits that will give them an 'everyday' look. That's probably the sims player in me that want this so much.

I'm curious about your opinion on that matter! Thanks for sharing!!!

As long as I get the option not to wear said dress, those stupid shoes, hats and the gaudy (tasteless, ugly and too much) jewels ;)

My female characters are in a way not women (or at least they don't see themselves as women first and foremost, no - they see themselves as mages, rogues and warriors first and women second...in a way like Cassy) - they are not female heroes (as someone else put it so aptly), but heroes who just happen to be female (I am a great fan of women who don't behave and are not girly...some might call them "tomboys" but that's taring all of them with the same brush, some of them might not even like sports, like the typical tomboy does) - It does not mean the being girly and independent/strong willed etc. don't go together, it's just that my characters do not want to be girly (they'd rather spend the time girly girls spend in front of the mirror/dolling themselves up training with a staff (I play mostly mages), spells or with a sword/dagger (in case I play a rogue...or even a warrior, though those are not really my thing) or even just sleeping a few minutes more (like I do in RL...I am not a person who does much dolling up (though most males don't...still, many do more than I do) etc. I'd rather do something more usefull with that time ;)

My characters are there to do a job, not please stupid nobles he/she does not really care about (while not voicing that, my characters only play the game up to a certain degree and only out of necessity...they don't want to/need to chum up to those useless nobles (I'd much rather curry favour with the mages and the templars both and leave the squabbling nobles behind to die)) and run around in clothes they'd rather set on fire (along with the people suggesting they should wear them)...

It's basically about choice - I can understand that some (particularly many women-players) want to show up to a ball dressed the part...but they should understand, too that I would want show up in dress armor or at least hunting leathers (something akin to a military dress-uniform), but not in an actual dress (a dress armor might look nice, but most of them still offer some protection...I would not expose myself to assassins' without a modicum of protection...others might (thrill seekers maybe?), I don't) or similarly useless male decorative clothing ;)

greetings LAX

As I like playing characters with different personalities. I want opitions for their casual outfits :P Navilia Trevelyan, my human rogue and devoted chantry inquistor is very much a girl who out of combat, would like to wear more nice clothing. if she is going to a ball, she would prefer gowns and dresses instead of her leather armor(albit dresses and gowns with hidden pockets for daggers/contraptions)

Enansal Lavallan, my dalish mage is a practical girl. She is a dalish first. She never had much time to wear dress up. While she is still feminine in ways, she is first a dalish and even their most feminine people would likely not care to wear gowns or dress, Enansal certainly finds it impractacile. Besides at any ball of humans, she wouldn't wear a gown but her robes because she doesn't get human culture, unless she was told before hand by some dalish that it was a good thing in order to help the dalish out.

So having more opitions is always good IMO
