I'm keeping an open mind about DA:I, and would prefer that BioWare concentrate on the aspects of the game that they believe need work, and ignore all the requests for more romances.
Please let us romance Bethany in DAI

Bethany who? why would bioware waste resources making a romance for a completely meaningless character that never had a big role in the overarching storyline to begin with.

Bethany just happened to have an attractive face design, cute sounding voice, and huge boobs to start out the game. You know what they say about first impressions.

You know maybe Bethany/Carver could replace that generic Warden that arrives with Hawke if the became Wardens you never know.

Well, that's never going to happen for me considering I always leave them behind. I might not want them to die in the deep roads, but no way in hell am I ever spending more time than that which I am absolutely required to with Anders.

That really depends on who will romance her. If it's Hawke, then... Just joking, so, you can get off your Lannister bandwagon.
If it's the Lord-Inquisitor, I'm fine with that. However, if we follow Bioware's default canon (which I won't be doing, but that's not relevant), Bethany is dead in that world state. So, I'll let the Arishok respond this time.
"Please, let us romance Bethany in DA:I!"
*the Arishok leans in*
"No."

Oh I am sorry when you said wasting resources making a meaningless character a Romance I assumed you meant characters like Cullen.

And seriously Bethany is one of the best female characters in DA2 the other is Aveline in my opinion as much as I liked Isabella/Merrill the where not as interesting to me.To each their own I guess.

Meh. I loved Bethany as a "sister character". Could you imagine Hawke's reaction---5 seconds after fighting whatever that spider thing is, Inquisitor starts hitting on Hawke's virginal sister? Considering my Hawke got all up in Aveline's husband's grill (forget his name) for even suggesting harming Bethany, I'd be pissed if someone got away with leery and creepy remarks to her.
Besides, if if i were shipping for any flirtation on the side for my Lady Inquisitor, it'd be Teagan. Some of the game takes place near Redcliffe. Why not a cameo by the BannHammer?
How they stack up in my mind:
Flirtation with Bethany = awkward considering her former role in the franchise as a sibling + her essentially shy, passive nature.
Flirtation with Teagan = Fun and sexy.

Cullens rabbid fanbase is damn impressive but in my opinion he is Dragon Ages's Garrus he has no real reason to be back in DAI but his popularity.

Yep, him. I knew it started with a "W" but couldn't recall his name especially since Donnic has more of a presence in it than Wesley.

Rather than Bethany, it's a crime you can't romance Leliana, by far my favourite female character in DA.

I doubt this will happen, Bethany was particularly written by Jennifer Hepler to be sweet and unobtainable. She will be unsullied by our dirty fanboy hands. ![]()
Also I prefer Bethany join the Circle, she tends to be happier in the Circle than in the Wardens.

If she has joined the Circle in DA2, I guess, she will be Cullen's wife in Inquisition.
I still don't see this.. Cullen didn't let go of his dislike of Mages in DA2, he just isn't as rabid as he was at the end of Broken Circle. In the brief bit of DAI video we saw last week you can detect his distrust of using mages to power up the Inquisitors mark, with good reason as the hole in the sky was likely a mages fault.

Call me insane, but i preferred Carver over Bethany. It was wonderful to see his character develop over time as a Grey Warden in my main DA2 game.
As for a Bethany romance, I don't see it likely unless they make the siblings important characters for a DA game. Given the different states they can have, I don't see it likely for Inquisition and perhaps future games aswell. A glorious cameo though where Bethany/Carver and Hawke helps us out though would be very nice ![]()

Depending on the Inquisitors gender and which one of the siblings is alive and with Hawke, it would be cool to flirt at least with them, for me that means Bethany.

I love Bethany and I a least like to know what happens to her or Carver Post DA2. I think we will at least get a cameo becase both Bethany and Carver could be organizations that play major roles in DAI.

Uh im not a cullen "fan" im just happy we get to have a handsome blonde man, with a nice voice, joining the group. Besides he has more relevance to the story than Bethany does. He was involved in the storyline of da2 and on top of that, took control of Kirkwall making sure it didnt completely fall apart, after all the drama. What did Bethany do exactly? She was a small catalyst to Hawkes story, just like the rest of Hawkes family, most of whom ended up dead in the end.
