Any chance that when we come back to the Keep, Cullen, Leliana, and Josephine will be wearing something different? We will be able to change the armor of our companions, but what about our advisers?

If the advisers had uniforms then obviously we would expect to see them in uniform. But considering our companions are not uniformed, shouldn't they get to change their clothes from time to time?

they most likely will not change clothes. Cullen might occasionally have a helmet though.

Josephine wouldn't DARE wear the same dress every day. Especially not one as flashy and frilly! That's a dress you can wear once a year, no more. If she tried to wear it more often, it would cause a scandal in Orlesian fashion circles.

I hope they'll have different threads, like something more relaxing. I especially hope leliana can take off that hood, l'm really not feeling it.

Um, I know that. But she's serving as an ambassador in Orlais and is certainly the type of person to follow Orlesian social customs. Also, isn't she half Orlesian? Her last name is French...

She is only mentioned as being well-versed in Orlesian politics as well as working as an ambassador in the courts of Thedas. Presumably that means she has also been elsewhere too. The only character mentioned as being extremely focused on Orlesian culture is  Vivienne.

Regardless, she's a well-dressed character that clearly cares about fashion. If she wears the same damn dress the entire game, that will be stupid.

Maybe for special events they might change clothes but I can't imagine them changing clothes all that often and as far as I know you're stuck in one outfit at your own keep too so if that's still true I wouldn't mind someone having to share that fate with me but I'm petty that way.

Considering even the Inquisitor doesn't have more than one casual outfit, I doubt our followers will.

Yeah but we can change our companion's armor, so at least they will have a variety of different looks...

Oh trust me, after seeing the stupid female qunari hairstyles I already have.

It is a silly thing really, but it does irk me that generally in games, NPC's seen regularly are always wearing the same clothes.

I know there are no retail stores and washing machines in Thedas, but really - change your shirt once in a while... its stinky/dirty. :P

It's like watching a cartoon and the character's closet opens and they have 50 of the exact outfit hanging there.

If it turns out that the advisers don't have changes of clothes, which I unfortunately agree is likely to be the case, then you might suggest them as part of a cosmetic DLC a la the ME series' Appearance Packs (although those were for potential party members rather than exclusively stay-at-home NPCs). While we didn't get anything similar for DAII, BioWare might be more open to it if Inquisition does better numbers-wise.

An "Advisor Appearance Pack" would be awesome.

Cullen could wear his old Templar armor

Josephine could wear a dress and have her hair down

Leliana could wear her DAO concept art outfit

Those would be great. I would also take Leliana's Seeker and Chantry outfits from her cameos in DAII. (Hopefully that's not a spoiler by now, DAII being three and a half years old and all...)

I must say I'm spoiled by Dragon Age Heroes (the ipad game). Leliana's legendary version (the epic one is the armor from the ashes trailer) starts as how she appears at the end of DA2, but the III and IV versions of the armor are just awesome. If you want to look it up I think you'll have to google Sister Nightingale. Sorry that I can't put pictures, don't have the time now :(
