Okay I haven't any threads about the black-eyed obviously evil or possessed elf mage from the Enemy of Thedas trailer any ideas on who he could be? I know my first thought was that he was "Felassan", but Gaider or someone pretty much debunked that.
Possessed/Evil Elf Mage...who is he?

Who Debunked it? A Dalish elf mage wearing a hood who seems to be possessed. I would assume Felassan. But i would like to see where it was confirmed not to be him.

argeed felassen's fate was open ended
Open ended? It says "He never heard the blow that killed him". Why do you guys think he may still be alive? Because he was in the fade?

there are many ways to die in DA. For me yes him being killed in the fade is a "death" but so can possesion be called a death since it kills the host.Open ended? It says "He never heard the blow that killed him". Why do you guys think he may still be alive? Because he was in the fade?
If theres anything ive learned in dragon age is that: nothing is as its percieved and the orld is full of difficult questions

According to DA2 if you are killed in the Fade then you effectively become tranquil in the real world, not dead. However, that applies to ordinary mortals/dreamers and it is a bit ambiguous exactly what Felassan is. However, if it were Felassen, it would make sense that Morrigan found him since she is so interested in eluvians and so also apparently is the creature which killed him. Even if dead, his corpse could have been possessed. I'd be a bit disappointed if we didn't discover exactly who Felassen was and what happened to him but the strange elf in the trailer could just be some random guy with no connection whatsoever.

I don't think Felassan is alive, i think the felassan in TME is dead, but he could have also been possessed, or as shown made tranquil and reawakened later on in the game.
it is a tad open ended, all we know is the Felassan briala knew is no more.

True, I hope Rhys doesn't die at the start of the game so that we have an opportunity to "reawaken" tranquil. Or are there other ways to do this that I am unaware of.

Well its not much of a unknown fact but i doubt the info hasn't come out about the tranquil cure. there are probably a lot of rumors about it.
