Bowties are cool: While at the Orlesian ball, persuade 10 nobles that a custom piece of armour is fashionable and start a trend. For the rest of the game, various Orlesian NPCs will now walk around sporting the pimp-duds or rummage sale reject of your choice!

Autoattack mod, kthanksbye. Sorry if it was already mentioned.
PC has an AA toggle already.
Edit: nvm I guess I missed the news
You can however do this to AA automatically without a toggle
http://forum.bioware...ack/?p=17530362
By tilting the tactical camera you can imitate the 3rd person "behind the shoulder view" and autoattack without holding
I'll probably do this myself.

If it's not a game option then a mod to turn off the magical maelstrom during melee. I'd rather my melee look more like ... well melee.

I've said it loads of times. I would really like to see cosmetic mods.
1. More hairstyles and other options during CC
2. Changing the looks of companions (from hair to face to outfit). Though this tends to cause backlash from the community (think Isabella from DA:2) i am all for players being able to modify how companions look to their liking.
3. Making existing armors/clothes/weapons look completely different
4. Race-wide changes such as making all elves shorter.
Basically mods that allow you to customize the appearance of many things in Inquisition.

I doubt it'll be possible but I would remove Dorian's awful mustache and give Solas hair. Reducing cooldowns on fun abilities would be my second choice.

I'd like DA:O's UI back, but with a grid inventory. If only I had the skills to make it so.
Actually now that you mention that, I didn't notice any sort of "sorting" feature in any of the demo vids. I would really enjoy being able to sort out my inventory junk by dmg value, gold value, etc. AND maybe even pinn certain items to a "favorite" menu of some kind for quick access. So... in a perfect world where DA:I mods existed, I would also like UI tweaks.

The hair textures are really sad to look it. Their is something wrong when they are exposed to direct sunlight. Also, some hair textures look like wigs. While the face testures look great, the hair textures don't blend in so well.

-More hairstyle options
-Real heavy armor
-Less RNG when it comes to schematics (I hate having to resort to cheat engine just to get the Tevinter Longsword)
-Less skinny elves
I could go on but that's my top list.

1. A UI overhaul as comprehensive as Sky UI
2. Performance overhaul and bug fixes similar to the unofficial patches for all beth games.
3. Graphical updates, improved texture quality, and meshes, ect.
4. Armor models imported from previous DA games for use by the PC or others.
5. The ability to completely repair Skyhold in the base game.
I'm probably only going to get number four, as the others would require proper mod tools and bioware won't be releasing those. Despite everyone on PC liking them. Shame consoles are so locked down, I'm sure if they weren't more games would release mod tools. I do legit feel sorry for console players who miss out on mods. They can turn a good game into a great game, and a great game into a fantastic ones. Especially if they have dedicated communities.

Off my head ...
* movement animation for female inquisitors
* hairstyles, eyebrows
* casual / formal clothing options when inquisitor is at Skyhold
* more varied armor and weapon designs
* more customisation / repair of Skyhold
The slouch / hunched walking posture in cut scenes is terrible, I don't understand why everyone else walks upright but not the inquisitor.

If we're talking about mods and ignore the bugs they need to fix...
Better hair--less gender neutral. I know they were trying to make it so either gender looked ok, but all but a few made them look butch. No thanks.
I would also like to see a hug Cole option, which I know won't happen, but darn if I don't want it anyway.
More Skyhold options. I see there are areas to still be repaired. I would love for a room or place where I could go to play mini games against or with my companions and advisors like Wicked Grace or the chess game. But I would also like the option to customize it more.
Forgot to add: more clothes customizations.

So, we've all heard that Frostbite is a bear to try modding. Not sure why this is, I'm no computer expert, but there it is. I'm sure some intrepid modders will do it and I will haunt nexus to see what's available. Most of my enjoyment of DAO and DA2 came from the modding community keeping my game fresh for double the amount of playthroughs both games would have seen from me than without mods. Of course, I played them on PC only, so never really had to play Xbox or PS versions.
Going on the theory we can't mod the game, what would you, as a player, be willing to pay for (as in DLC) to get as modifications to the game, and the reasons why you may like to have those mods.
Most of mine would be cosmetic.
My first would be: More Character Creation options.
Without having seen the full Customization options, (and it's my understanding they are huge!) I'd still like more hairstyles, maybe more realistic/unrealistic textures in hair and skin tone, colors, makeup, tattooes. Reason: Just because more is always better.
I'd pay real money for that. Yes.
I have several things done if you want my files. I have smooth skin with whatever color eyebrows you need. I just haven't put it up on Nexus yet. I can do specific makeup or tattoos if you want something in particular. I'm working on some faux body jewelry now via shading.
