Does anybody wish they could punch the Talkative Man at the Hanged Man?
How dare he say the Blight never happened in Ferelden! What an insult to the brave souls who fought the darkspawn horde! How dare he I say!

Mind you, this is the same guy that thinks that women will suck away his life energy, which is why he never tries to get with anyone.

To play Fen'harel's advocate for the guy...
The question of how a relative backwater such as Ferelden somehow managed to somehow manage to acquire enough military forces together to end a Blight in under a year, while also fighting an internal Civil War and actively turning away any Orlesian aid by refusing to let their troops across the border, does seem pretty absurd on the surface?!
Especially when the answer boils down to "a particularly badass Grey Warden, that's how!"

Oh my, I thought that I was the only one thinking that! Anyway if it's M'aiq it's fine to smack him, he simply won't die... ![]()
Just wondering whether the mighty Murder Knife can do the job?

I managed to catch him a few times in Oblivion...ah, so much fun.
As for The Talkative Man I wish they would have expounded not only on his thoughts but also those of the other patrons at the Hanged Man. I thought most of it was interesting, but it quickly grew very tiresome after hearing so many repeats.
