...and no one has anything to say?

I'm surprised and very slightly disappointed in you lot!

Come on... who has preordered? What edition have you preordered? Or have you not preordered? Or are you not buying the game at all and if not why not?

Has anyone been on the Keep Beta? How have you found it? (Definitely not asking anyone to violate non-disclosure... just impressions, pls.)

What are you excited about? What are you nervous about? Are you taking the day off to play it? Have you cleared your schedule?

What format will you be playing on? Will you play on more than one format?

Who will your first character be? Who will your second character be? What will their approach to the game be?

That is just off the top of my head! Please pose your own questions!

At this point, I'm basically just rolling around on the ground and waiting for it 24/7. And playing an Aeducan run in DAO, which I hadn't done before! The BSN is productivity poison though, so I've kinda steered clear lately (I tend to do so in lulls between major releases, as it is).

I did get into the Keep beta however, and while I'm certain that I'm not supposed to post details about it, I'll say that it will not disappoint anyone.

But yeah - pre-ordered (inquisitor edition PC), took off Nov 19th and Thanksgiving week, and planning on running a MDwarf Rogue first off (since I've barely played a rogue at all in either DAO or DA2). Mage4lyfe, but I don't wanna bust that out first thing.

Sigh. Excited.

Oi!

I have been lurking on and off around the group, but I'm right here!

I've had the game preordered since this summer. I used to have the $170 Inquisitor's Edition preordered but I've since canceled that for the Deluxe Edition instead. I'm going to be playing on Xbox One. NEXT-GEN EXCITEMENT! I also did get into the Keep rather early. It's really neat but also pretty rough (it's in beta, duh!). I'm excited about a lot of things, but mostly Sera, Leliana and Morrigan!

As for taking a day off, well, I'm currently home after spending 10 months in Seattle for school stuff. I go back in January so I'm effectively off until then. Convenient, I know!

Are you buying the game yourself, Canny? You've always expressed a lack of interest in it. I wonder if that's changed with all the hype?

I just finally preordered the PC Deluxe edition today.  Yesterday was my birthday, and my son sent me an Amazon gift card, so I finally decided to take the plunge!!! :P   I was on the Keep yesterday but had some problems so have sent an email to the powers that be see if I can get some technical help.  Will have to wait until Monday for a response.  But the Keep looks as though it is pretty cool.

Ordinarily I like to play a rogue character, usually a female but not always.  Had been considering a Quanari, but not sure about a rogue Quanari, and not too crazy about the hairstyle issue for them either.  So, I have not made a final decision yet about my character, but I've played just about everything at one time or another and always have a good time.

Am excited about the new character creator.  It looks like it will be lots of fun.  I still don't have a handle on the battle system and navigation strategy yet, so have some concerns there.  Fighting is not my best skill in these games.  My biggest problem with the Dragon Age games has usually been based on the multitude of enemies descending on me at one time.  I can handle a few at a time like you get in Skyrim, and I'm very good with a bow.  But in the Dragon Age games, particularly, DAO, you sometimes get hordes of darkspawn all at once, and I don't always do so well with that.  I must admit to having to resort to the "killallhostiles" command on more than one occasion. :(

In any event, I'm looking forward to receiving the game and getting started.

I'm not buying it, hon, no.

I haven't been convinced by anything I've seen. Nothing has sold the game to me. Quite the reverse.

I'm not opposed to being won around, but I don't honestly know what could achieve that.
