So I finally got my copy of Win7 so I formatted my drive and reinstalled windows. Reinstalled DAO. Then I signed in and started downloading all my stuff again. Problem is once I download it all, it just sits there in the downloaded section and wont install. In the DLC item descriptions, all of them say requires version 1.0, and the 1.0 is in red. WTF am I supposed to do about this?

When you reinstalled Windows did you put the physical location of the My Documents directory on some other drive then C:? The installer seems to not like non C: drives.

Try moving it back to the default location to get the DLC to install. (Go to USERNAME\\My Documents in the Explorer, right click on it, select Properties, then go to the Location tab to change the physical location of the My Documents directory)

Just login, logout, restart game and then download DLC one at time. Worked for me.

Ok well I had DAO originally installed on my D: drive. So when I formatted I left D: alone so I didnt screw up all my programs. After I got windows 7 smoothed out, I reinstalled DAO over the previous install so it would be in windows registery. Should I just uninstall/delete it all and start over?

Sorry, I didn't mean the Dragon Age installation location I meant your My Documents directory.

Right click on the USERNAME\\My Documents directory. Select Properties and go to the Location Tab in the dialog window that comes up. If the directory is anything other then C:\\Users\\USERNAME\\Documents, particularly if the drive letter is not C:, select "Restore Default", which will move it back to C:\\Users\\USERNAME\\Documents. Then see if the DLC will install.

If you're continuing to have problems I suggest you take a look at the Redeemed DLC Troubleshooting FAQ You might need to clear out your download cache, or clear out all your updater data to get things working.

Ok I checked and everything seems to be where its supposed to. Fresh install of Windows. Umm... I looked through that FAQ and there seems to be nothing that helps with the DLC not installing. It all downloaded just fine... but it just sits in the middle tab. It has something to do with the Version number of the game. Ill link to another thread of someone thats having the same problem that I just seen.

Backup the dragon age files in your my documents folder, then delete everything in there and paste your game saves back in. Then start the game up, log back in, and download/install individually.

This worked for me a few minutes ago with what seems to be the same problem.

I may have misunderstood, but you installed DA over an order install to correct the registry entries right?

If this is so, it is possible that there are old entries that are messing with the game and not being deleted correctly when you uninstall. I recommend uninstalling and then running a registry cleaning program such as CCleaner to get rid of any bad registry entries, then re-installing.

Just got done uninstalling EVERYTHING. Ran CCleaner and fixed all registry errors. Reinstalled. DLC is still just sitting in the middle tab. Wont even move from 0%

CCleaner allows you to make a registry backup so it is pretty safe, registries always have weird side effects with a new OS/multiple drives and overinstalling applications.

Now your DLC is stuck in the downloads tab, it sounds like you need to manually run DAupdater.exe

This thread goes into more detail on the DLC problems.  Yur problem is 0.1.7 (easiest way to navigate the OP is by using your browser's search feature for the numbers)

The thread also provides direct links to downloading the DLC, but I believe you will still need DAUpdater running to get them to work

Thanks Sloth thats what I have done. But like he says in that post, they stay in middle download tab still as well as the install tab...

I would just bypass the in-game downloader then, and use the links in that thread to download them manually
