Gave up.
Just played a routine match with my level 4 Katari. Landed on a wave 5 with demons. A legionnaire and archer both about levels 14-16.
They were having trouble and had visited the Fade and i was left to mop up.
Killed the mooks, then popped a mighty offense option and slaughtered the DC.
Sold the head for good money too.

Then Lagatha showed up and farted on my head.
My Necromancer is literally useless without stuff to kill on regular basis. We had a keeper but it was a selfish one and a dead one most of the time.

People, for love of THE HERALD OF ANDRASTE! (ohh wait thats me..)
Stop kicking lv 1 people on threatening, But if you have no other choice, *shrugs* before doing that use your common sense.
An Elementalist lv 1 and lv 5 its the same, and as for me who goes directly for Fire Storm, (that's whats my mother tells me every morning) it takes 6 levels to get there, and trust me, it's unwise to get my mother angry.
So lets be nice, and let the poor lv 1 Elementalist play.
kthxbye!

I'm going to start using my mic more publicly and every time I see someone try to kick a level 1 on threatening, even if it isn't me, I'm just going to blurt out "Found the scrub!" and leave.
I've started soloing threatening because that's easier. Learned my lesson about leaving the lobby public. Clear 2 zones by myself -> 2 people join, then a third joins in zone 4. I get kicked...from my own game...again...
So yeah, I solo threatening for the first five or six levels then go public where I still get kicked from threatening.

They always lose or leave.
This is good, means I don't have to flick the mic on and give them "the talk".
Oddly enough though it doesn't happen that often on 360. People can't be picky.

Only had one wipe today, and that was when I joined a Perilous group, and everyone was already dead when I showed up. Then, couldn't find a new Perilous match, so decided to drop down to threatening for a match or two to get my duelist to 20.
irt kicking lvl 1s out of threatening. It happens to me a fair amount, even though I'm perfectly able to keep myself alive just fine (Most of the time. Everyone has bad days). while I've seen others die on the first round with level 15+. (Even yesterday, my usual group ran Perilous dragon with two level 1s and we beat it.

Went in on my own with AW on FC Perilous, usually people join me in zone 2 or 3 but there was no one this time, part way through zone 4 someone else jumps in, thank the maker, AW can do the whole thing solo but his damage output is not fantastic so the dragon usually takes a while to kill off plus that my promotions are still not as high as some (12/38/45) so even the slightest mistake sees my health in the red!
The Reaver who joined me knew very well how to use her we tore through that dragon in just a few minutes, thanks psycho PMT lady! Bagged me another staff of the dragon as well.. ![]()

There is a lot of talk of lvl1s getting kicked out of threatening lately. I feel like this is probably due to the influx of new players. If you are new and you are struggling on routine and threatening even at high levels, then it is logical to think that "If I am struggling at level 15, then they would just bring the party down". Not realizing that in actuality, levels dont matter a great deal once you have good gear and a handful of promotes under your belt. You will notice that this is usually initiated by players with high levels in routine/threatening, no badges/banners, poor gear, no mic. It sucks but in the end, you probably didn't want to play with them anyway.

I joined a threatening PUG on my L15 hunter. I've played 200+ hrs of this and no-one has ever uttered a word in the lobby before. Big voice says:
"So you couldn't bring a tank??!!"
I was speechless. Not an unreasonable request, but wow. People just don't talk in pugs! I replied to explain my tanks were both L1, which seemed to pacify him.

I know we've just spent four rounds tightly grouped and dominated every inch of the map, but now we've arrived at the storm dragon. When those circles of death show up, please go the other way! There's a reason I'm running as fast as I can away from the party, please don't follow!
Other wise, most of the pugs I run into on ps4 are surprisingly competent. Keep up the good work!
Ps. If you're getting destroyed by dragonlings and there's an Ele in your group dropping firewall... USE IT!
I didn't drop it behind you to warm up the area! It will save your ass, and all you have to do is back up a few steps!

Are we playing different games?
I carry most pugs on PS4. My first game today I started up my own routine FC lobby with lvl 16 lego to do the weekend challenge. Got through 3 zones with losing any health at all then people start joining. Plug in mic and tell them im speed running and not stopping for doors. I check the scoreboard after I pulled them into zone 5 and I have two kick votes.
I finished out the challenge by soloing to zones 3 or 4 before people joined in and had at least one kick vote by the end of zone 5. I'm not a happy camper right now.
Things I constantly get kicked from my own games for (250 public games portrait w/ Pilgrim title and banner):
Level 1 characters on threatening AND routine (I started the lobby you morons - Just leave)
Not stopping for doors we don't have the class to unlock (sorry, two mages and warriors can't open a rogue door)
Not reviving people on the stairs in zone 4 FC (lol your own fault)
Not crossing the map to revive people in zone 5 (yeah, DC agroed on me while you strayed to the other side of the map)
Speed running (I always announce this on mic when people join)
Running away from the group (If I was soloing when you joined in, I'll be just fine)
Not constantly casting barrier (especially in routine/threatening; if you need a constant barrier, play routine until you don't)
"Hacking" because my bow (Punched by the Maker) causes explosions (lol this happened today actually)
Priming the trebuchets against the dragon (usually threatening)
Do people even bother to learn anything about the game they're playing?
We wiped in zone 5 routine against RTC with a level 15 hunter (me), level 10 AW, and level 16 Hunter. AW and the other hunter went down and the RTC did his little jumpy thing from behind a wall while I was reviving the other hunter. Archers did the rest. Then I got off.

Good player, was absolutely demolishing enemies. The boss was a breeze- i think it was demons?
Next match and a Lego joins the melee team.
It was fun just demolishing everything and then...d/c
After work i might level up Thornton and more Belinda Darrow to complete the weekend challenge.

Yes KEY BUG MK II decided to appear, far craftier than the previous version too. Looks like host froze as a result too.
Had no time for that poop, so rage quit immediately.

My hunter froze in Chateau zone 4, bow vanished and could not do anything, poor Templar tried very hard but unfortunately lost against demons swarming her..
other than that we breezed through the other zones...

PS4/midwest/eastern USA/sometimes Canada.
I have no problem getting routine/threatening players into my lobbies but there are certain hours of the day where perilous players do not exist.

I'll do my last 3 PUGs.
EA servers and s****y netcode lost my connection twice.
Then a freeze.
Working as intended®
