Am I the only one that will be pugging then hear someone explain some game mechanic wrong or give horrible build advice and be so tempted to correct them but can't be bothered to turn on my mic and jump in to be the know-it-all?

oh god, all the time. It can be painful

Was playing a pug with three people, idr characters/levels but the map was FC perilous.
P1: "Somewhere on this map is a dragon hammer. I've looked for it in a few games before this." *proceeds to climb up and down every ladder on FC zone 3* Probably a teenager.
P2: "What's the dragon hammer do?" This player sounded no older than 10.
P1: "Let's you fight the dragon." (The only accurate part) *Finishes searching zone 3 while we're waiting by the gong.* I had a dragon call but wanted to see where this was going. "I don't think you can even fight the dragon. I've searched this entire map five times and still can't find this [thing]. Let's go."
P3: *Hits gong before I do*
P1: "So you just let me search the entire zone before hitting the [word] gong? [word] you man." He went off on the dude through zone 4. I was the only 1 with barrier so I couldn't get my mic without them all going down.
Me (after zone 4): "You have to craft the dragon call."
P1: "What the [word] is a dragon call?"
We had aggroed the dragon at that point and I had already unplugged my mic because I thought that was pretty self explanatory...He turned his sailor's mouth on me instead.
Peri FC, got to zone 5, dragon on a slither of health but dies in the air, keeps flying, after a few minutes I get on my Mic and tell the team: "Since I am leader of the group I will be backing out of the match, provided Host Migration does not fail you will have to fight the dragon again, good luck guys, hopefully see you in another game!"
I think to myself, oh well, never mind, its only another round, I can do this again, A game invite pops up on my screen from one of the guys in the match and get to re-join the same match! We kill the dragon, get Dragon Greatsword, making my set complete!
Excellent team, thanks guys! ![]()
Bone, PS4 or rejoin the master race.

Your choice is obvious.
From lack of framerate issues with Zither on Fereldan castle, to advantages with archer and targetting using Keyboard and Mouse, to just being glorious. PC master race.
Had perhaps my best 'carry' wave ever last night. (Even though I cheated). Dragon Castle, the gong had been punched and I was an archer. Had a pretty good team but a few things went wrong and the rest of the team all croaked to the fade but there were a LOT of demons left. My pbtm bow was crucial as it is at something like 33% hok. I whittled them down over time and my cheat moment came when I did a leaping shot back flip off one of the balconies into the sea below to get spawned back at the beginning. I almost got pinned down and killed at that spot but was able to run past the pride demon and clear out the level, then come back and finish him off.
We then proceeded to the dragon level and were victorious.
I have come to one conclusion, I personally will not ever be going to fiddle with the trebuchets from here on out. For most groups imo they are simply not worth it at all. Separates the team can cause deaths from the dragon or dragonlings, just not worth the bother at all. A team that has played together and has a plan? sure by all means, with pugs it most often does more harm than good. (I know others will not agree.)

That kid would have found himself balls deep in the title screen after being kicked, I'm not listening to that ****. ![]()
sorry to the AW and Ele that died trailing my reaver's torch run, i assumed that by now everyone knows to just run to the brazier. glad i have push-to-talk because my laughter, at both entering fade right as I got to y'all, would have been rude. =/
plead bioware to remove the lame torch and replace it with new maps

In the lobby:
Pug 1: Don't use the fonts. You get better stuff if you don't use the fonts.
Me: You know, I've heard this before and asked one of the developers about it, they said it's not true.
Pug 1: It is so! Definitely truth.
Me: I won't need the fonts so I'm fine with whatever suits you.
Moral of the story: it doesn't matter if you hop on to offer the correction or not; nothing changes.

use dragon call
disconnect
ok
Joined a routine game on my level 1 alchemist with lowbie reaver, keeper, and avvar. I try not to solo public routine games because that's boring for everyone else so I was trying to be helpful by just picking up gold and taking out shadows/knights when the dude with an open mic starts complaining. *whiny, mocking voice* "Oh look at me, I'm level 5 million and I just one-shot everything. Why is he even playing in here?" When I first saw 3 lowbies without banners or portraits I was excited about new players, too ![]()
Edit: Next game I got stuck perpetually attacking and could only stutter-step around the map using animation canceling. The two "disconnected from the sessions" that followed when trying to join other games convinced me that I'm just not meant to play right now ![]()
the dragon-kin/wyvern-kin gal and necromancer are a spectacular combo.
too good.
game crashed.
Enter threatening lobby as a level 7 lego -> lvl 19 keeper chilling in there for 5 min after everyone else ready's up. Two kick votes but someone isn't voting - probably doesn't want to risk it without any level 19 barriering.
Keeper tells me to leave because I'm a noob despite my 2500 Demon banner, 250 public games portrait, Pilgrim title.
Keeper tells everyone that you shouldn't be in threatening unless you're level 14+.
Keeper threatens to ban me when I talk back. Didn't realize we were playing Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 and the year is 2008.
Keeper finally ready's up while nonstop complaining.
Keeper seemingly goes AFK for the first half of zone 1.
Keeper doesn't barrier. Like at all.
Keeper screams at everyone to open doors whether zone is cleared or not.
Keeper opens doors right as we start clearing zones then runs away, releasing more spiders, guardians, and random mobs.
Keeper screams at people for going down.
Keeper screams when someone doesn't ignore the 9000 arrows and pick him up ASAP.
Keeper screams when someone doesn't use the dragon call.
Keeper enters fade three times by zone 4.
Keeper takes the time to wind the trebuchets instead of joining us at the banner.
Keeper runs outside the circle for a good minute before entering.
Keeper screams when he gets taken out by the DC within 30 seconds.
Keeper gives everyone a kick vote back in the lobby after we win without him.
If you play like this, do the world a favor and stick to private matches.

Surprised no one decided to kick him mid-match instead of dealing with his bitching. He would've gotten an insta-kick from me.
No pugs for me, though. Been busy playing JoH.
There are a number of BSNers that want to treat pug life as something holy, and sacrosanct. Then there's this thread, reminding us the ugly realities of pugging.

Pugs are idiots, and don't want to learn. For me, that's worth booting. Definitely move along, into your next game.

I respond with, "So what?" If they're still stupid (which they usually are) and I must, "do you even look at the leaderboards? I'm on the front page"

Keeper don't give a nug. LOL. I wouldn't be impressed by the portrait / titles, but I wouldn't kick for your behaviour. I'd be kicking that keeper, or moving to the next game if he wouldn't get kicked within 10 seconds of announcing of readying up. I would also be saying you are overleveled for threatening, bump it up to Perilous.
Generally though, I like to host my own games and ready up in game before anyone actually joins. No need to waste time in the lobby. I also generally kick for people's behaviour in-game. Though their behaviour in-lobby is kick-worthy too.

He went through the entire match with 2 kick votes. The third random must have thought we couldn't do it without the keeper.
That guy would require a special trolling method, a technique I've not had to use since the 2011 incident on BF3.
Please say you play on XB1 because I need you on my team.
