Enter threatening lobby as a level 7 lego -> lvl 19 keeper chilling in there for 5 min after everyone else ready's up. Two kick votes but someone isn't voting - probably doesn't want to risk it without any level 19 barriering.
Keeper tells me to leave because I'm a noob despite my 2500 Demon banner, 250 public games portrait, Pilgrim title.
Keeper tells everyone that you shouldn't be in threatening unless you're level 14+.
Keeper threatens to ban me when I talk back. Didn't realize we were playing Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 and the year is 2008.
Keeper finally ready's up while nonstop complaining.
Keeper seemingly goes AFK for the first half of zone 1.
Keeper doesn't barrier. Like at all.
Keeper screams at everyone to open doors whether zone is cleared or not.
Keeper opens doors right as we start clearing zones then runs away, releasing more spiders, guardians, and random mobs.
Keeper screams at people for going down.
Keeper screams when someone doesn't ignore the 9000 arrows and pick him up ASAP.
Keeper screams when someone doesn't use the dragon call.
Keeper enters fade three times by zone 4.
Keeper takes the time to wind the trebuchets instead of joining us at the banner.
Keeper runs outside the circle for a good minute before entering.
Keeper screams when he gets taken out by the DC within 30 seconds.
Keeper gives everyone a kick vote back in the lobby after we win without him.
If you play like this, do the world a favor and stick to private matches.
I've played this game for months now, probably near the start of the year and haven't encountered anything like this. I'd like to as it sounds hilarious.
I've almost exclusively pugged as my play times tend to be a little irregular.
There are a few people I'll always drop into a game to play with and vice versa, but mostly pugs.
Maybe I'm just lucky but a majority are pretty smooth.
Bumped into some interesting people, played a few rounds with people in the top 10, who all seemed really nice, also played games with people whose names I recognise from these forums.
tl;dr
I wish there were more assholes on PS4!
Proud of myself -- clutched wave 4 at Fereldan Castle. I joined and game was already underway with the message that a player had entered the fade. I look around and everyone's down. I kept thinking that someone probably used a dragon call and we should put that to use -- cleared it. Only threatening but still proud. Couldn't have done it on perilous -- I do well to just survive on perilous with a full team (so far).
I couldn't play with one character longer than 1 match last night and kept swapping, I grab my level 9 katari and the leader stealth switched it to perilous. It actually went quite well, though we wiped on RTC at the end. I think I feel safe playing perilous at level 10 with just about every character now.
Smooth perilous run. I was the host, and I was the one who used a Dragon's Call. Someone used the trebuchet to "kill" the dragon. Bugged out, had to leave. No experience, no challenge progress, -1 Dragon's Call.
Please, BioWare, fix this crap.
I played a perilous PUG last night to try to get some levels on my keeper. Hopped in the lobby as there was an Avaar and Katari (mid to high teens in level) and myself 18 keeper. We ready up just the three of us. In the lobby the Katari said something kind of obnoxious, though I forget exactly what it was. I thought, "Oh here we go". I had about a 50/50 success rate in mind for this.
We start in zone 1, elven ruins. In the first pull it becomes apparent that the Katari is AFK, and me and the avaar battle on. The Avaar was really good so we didn't have much trouble. We get to the end of zone 1 and the two of us have the same wordless psychic agreement that we don't really care about going back to get the treasure door. Right as we mop up the last wave and head to the door the Katari wakes up and opens said treasure door and starts fighting the guardian. I wait, because I know that hes probably going to whine if we hit the door to the next wave. I say over the mic, "oh, it looks like hes in the treasure room" and the Avaar hesitates a moment but then hits the next level door and teleports the Katari.
Now I don't agree with what he did, but if he wanted the treasure he could have bothered to join us when the game started. I was not going to hit the door to teleport, but I don't exactly fault him for doing it either.
Needless to say, the Katari did not like it. And he let us know about it. He had one of those "internet guy" voices, if you know what I mean. Some people just sound like the voice you have in your head when you read an irksome post on a forum.
Well, the rest of the match was really tense. the awkward silence was punctuated by passive aggressive statements about the doors. "Oh, I better get this door now or you will f--king teleport me." "better sprint, hurry up, we gotta get to that next zone".
I just sat there silent in the middle like a kid that's mommy and daddy were fighting. I was a little annoyed however how this guy could not let go of the ~70g he missed out on for missing that one door. I feel like there are better things to get worked up about. World hunger, ISIS, Human trafficking... you know stuff like that.
We extracted successfully and felt a little bit of vindication when the Silent persecuted Avaar was #1 on the scoreboard followed by me with the Katari being firmly below that. He probably didn't notice, but I did and that wrapped the bow on that decidedly uncomfortable experience. I dropped the party after that and only hope that Mr Katari has found someway to forgive Mr Avaar for his transgression.
It's crazy how mad people can get for missing 1 door. Oh no you missed 70g, now you'll never get any better gear.
My other favourite is when people don't notice that someone has hit the gong while fighting, and after we clear the zone we go into 5 right away. "WHY DIDN'T YOU LET ME HIT THE GONG" followed by many expletives and a rage quit. Look at your screen man, it told you we did.
I've never listened to anything going on. I always mute. Maybe I should start paying attention.
Yesterday I was playing ZITHER! and my group all ran to the flag in wave 5. They seemed to like my lute playing so I stood beside the circle riffing on that thing like I was Hendrix. They must have really enjoyed it because they kept yelling "OVER HERE" most likely to let everyone around know what a great impromptu concert I was putting on.
I was running threatening with my hunter (not a big fan of the hunter) for the weekly challenge. It was a mess. A Templar kept running off without the party...ignoring all free doors. I have all the things I need, so it didn't bother me much.
Archer did not like this. Spammed "over here" at doors for the 1st 2 stages.
Poison room. Archer picks up torch. Stands by warrior door spamming "over here". Holds group hostage. Templar runs off into poison. Dies. Archer attacks and drops torch. I pick it up and run off. Nobody comes with me. Other 2 die. I finish stage & do a victory lap before I open door.
I say a few things into mic...ask Templar how running off alone worked out, etc. No responses.
Stage 5. Nobody sticks together. 3 other players die pretty quick. I use stealth and mines along w arrows and work my way through Venatori. It's taking forever. After I kill 3/4 of enemies I just say, "You know what? You guys don't deserve this win. LEEROY JENKINS!"
. I finish stage & do a victory lap before I open door.
around the whole map? or just the last room? bonus points if it was the whole map
* snip *
This was after your system froze, right? Sucks that that happened. Did a couple more Perilous matches vs. Frosty with barak and got a Bow of the Dragon from it. Wish you could've been there. ![]()

had some girl yell at me the whole game.
just as well though.

Wot now? What you on about you know? Why da tha team sometimes open doors and other times not? I mean it's like they can't make up a mind ...or not. Ya see there's ones dat open the doors and ones tha don't an they never get wot they want or what they need but just ****** each otha off ya know? N then there's those vent a toris all the time, blah blah blah arrow ta my face.
You know, people need to keep in mind that it is just a game.
I was in a match yesterday playing with two pugs. It was routine FC and I was leveling up my AW. What? I'm still getting used to playing him properly. ![]()
Sometimes I feel too invincible and get into trouble. Anyway, a Lego joins and decides he doesn't want to go for treasure rooms, even though the rest of us do. Personally I find opening treasure rooms to be fun. We would wait by a room and he would run off to open the next zone door. We would use the "come here" to try and get his attention after waiting for a bit, but he would just keep warping us forward.
Well, eventually the other two people got really fed up. We got to zone 5 and they got on mic to call the Lego player a ****** and ask why he wouldn't open the treasure room doors. Somehow all my teammates ended up going into the fade. There were still a lot of enemies left, but I was an AW so it wasn't an issue. When we got back to the lobby they were insulting the Lego player and pointed out the fact he died. Yeah.. they all did... so they weren't in any position to judge. One of them sent me a friend request, which I declined. I don't mind carrying people at all, but I do mind people being mean to others over crappy routine treasure. It was annoying how we got ignored, no doubt about it, but it was hardly worth getting worked up over. I felt so bad I sent a msg to the Lego player and apologized for how rude the other two guys were. That it was just a game. He thanked me. ![]()
After that I joined a new group who seemed quite nice. I actually turned on my mic, since they were talking and asked if I had one. The fact I was a female immediately came up, but what are you gonna do? I don't take any offense to it and they weren't weird about it. We played a bunch of threatening Dragon matches. They helped a new guy with tips on playing the Avvar. We were doing so well as a group that we decided to try Perilous. We didn't have high expectations, but somehow ended up making it look like routine! I was using the AW and didn't need to use one health potion. No one died either. All thanks to one guy playing an awesome Bard.
With good team coordination we were practically invincible. ![]()
Met the most cowardly AW ever. We were playing on FC, and he ran over to all the ladder camping spots and kept "over here!" spamming... ON THREATENING. I refuse to do that stuff even on perilous, hell if i'm going to camp ladders on threatening. Went out and killed all the things with my Templar. He still refused to come over, and all the other pugs followed him, even as I stayed above 75% health the whole time. Again, he's AN ARCANE WARRIOR. Also lol'd as I ended up soloing the dragon after everybody else died.
aboot to kill rtc.
endless black screen.
ok.
peri FC pug lobby.
duelist shows up, so i switch to archer because tonight i didn't particularly care to have to compete for elusives. i start getting kick votes so I bail. /shrug

Don't hate on us ladder campers. I do it on routine.
My god, I cannot believe I just publicly admitted that. To be fair I don't spam "over here" and will stop camping the ladder if no one else is. I just find it amusing to watch things climb down to annihilation. Okay... now I sound evil. Shutting up now.
Funny Story:
I was with my buddy abc and another friend earlier today and we ended up getting a pug named fate(something or another). He was playing a lego and barely doing anything. At zone 3 in FC, we had enough of it. The dude sat at the bottom of the ladder while the rest of us cleared the entire zone. We came back to open the door and he went in. He ended up pulling an AH. So... the group just sat there and watching him fight it without helping. I guess he got upset and ran away and opened the zone door to take us to zone 4 without finishing the fight. At this point, the group decided to just kick him. We ended up killing the dragon as a trio because there was nobody on to invite at the time.
