Funny Story:
 
I was with my buddy abc and another friend earlier today and we ended up getting a pug named fate(something or another).  He was playing a lego and barely doing anything.  At zone 3 in FC, we had enough of it.  The dude sat at the bottom of the ladder while the rest of us cleared the entire zone.  We came back to open the door and he went in.  He ended up pulling an AH.  So...  the group just sat there and watching him fight it without helping.  I guess he got upset and ran away and opened the zone door to take us to zone 4 without finishing the fight.  At this point, the group decided to just kick him.  We ended up killing the dragon as a trio because there was nobody on to invite at the time.

Shortly after our games together I joined Drasca in a perilous duo on my hunter and died from doing something stupid in zone 2 and now I feel horrible

Met the most cowardly AW ever. We were playing on FC, and he ran over to all the ladder camping spots and kept "over here!" spamming... ON THREATENING. I refuse to do that stuff even on perilous, hell if i'm going to camp ladders on threatening. Went out and killed all the things with my Templar. He still refused to come over, and all the other pugs followed him, even as I stayed above 75% health the whole time. Again, he's AN ARCANE WARRIOR. Also lol'd as I ended up soloing the dragon after everybody else died.

 

Why refuse to do it on Perilous?  Against the rules of engagement?

My favorite to date. Perilous FC. Scrub group of dirt nappers who make it to zone 3 because I carried them. They refused to listen to any sort of startegy at all. They head up the stairs for a head on fight, again refusing to listen. I duck downstairs and see a rogue door. Hoping against hope I'm wanting to see a revenant or arcane horror spawn. Heehee. I get a horror, stealth, and run off. About 20 seconds later one of them plugs their mic in to say, WTF dude? I laugh, content with the anguish I was able to give back. Exit. Next match please.

I have but just find it a bit of a cheap mechanic and one which is not needed, its fine if the group you're with want to use it, I have no problem with it, I just find it a real bore..

Perilous match starts, wave 1 goes well because every sticks near my bard, life is good.

Well apparently that was a bad idea because now everyone thinks they can't die. As soon as we get a big group next wave they all run in opposite directions. Duelist with lower gear, necro with lower gear and a well geared reaver. Looks like I'll just follow the reaver all match. They eventually got the idea that being away from me = death.

Always remember you are only invincible with a virtuoso if you stay in range!

I had a lot of fun last night - wanted to promote my lego, playing routine as I do (see any thread for evidence of suckitude - I can actually solo the first room now lol!)  Playing with more appropriate leveled players, so I made sure not to kill 'help', I always tried to let my fellow players deliver the killing blow, and most seemed to understand the concept of 'guard' and didn't kill things I had aggroed into hitting me...emphasis on 'most' (another good reason for me to not be on voice 'stop f*cking killing them while I'm trying to build some f*cking guard, a**hole!' doesn't need to be shared with the world.)  Kited Spinny McDouchepants like a boss, killed Calpurnia, had an overall blast.  Finally promoted my lego, so now I have promoted two of each class (yes, I am bragging about that, sue me)!

 

Decided to play some Hunter, level 4, join a match in progress, get dumped into room 4 of FC...somehow survive, only to wipe in 5.  Next match, dragon summoned...kill that sucker, decide to call it a night.  All in all, a good night  

 

Oh, I almost forgot - got my portrait for reviving 250 teammates.  Ridiculously proud of that

I had one game where the host insisted on telling us exactly where he was in 10 second updates.
 

 

I had an AW doing this last night.  Not sure if he had some kind if twitch because he started before we even got to the front door 

 

We usually do all the treasure rooms but he was annoying both of us so we didn't for once (well thrice he stayed for 3 games and we were having enough fun ignoring him by then)  

 

Spamming over here next to a Stone door when there's him (AW), Dualist, Archer and Keeper in the party

Ugh... for some reason perilous pugs have started doing really stupid things in the last week. No less than four times, somebody has gone over and opened the first door on FC zone 1, climbed the ladder, aggro'd all the enemies and then come back down. Just to make sure we're surrounded. Why? Why do this? It's just mind boggling. Even if you knew absolutely nothing about how this game works (which I hope wouldn't be the case as a lvl 20 in perilous!), common sense dictates the fewer enemies you fight at once, the higher chance you have at winning. Sigh. If you want to be disillusioned once and for all about human intelligence, spend a few hours on the internet.
