Getting revenge on archers, I Spiketrap

lol to the alchemist host that bailed because the rest of the party wanted to hang in safe cover instead of run up the FC zone 4 stairs.

 

Sorry, but it's hard to listen to the F4 demand spam of an alchemist I found dirtnapping in zone 1 when I joined the match. just saying.

 

The virtuouso bailed soon after, i assume either because they thought we wouldn't finish, or they were a friend of the alchemist.

 

Since the necro put in their dragon call I stuck around and we duo'd for a while until an AW and Avvar joined in. Avvar and necro fell to fade in zone 5, but the AW and my Isabela finished off the storm dragon.

 

Still no 331 maul for my warriors though. The grind continues.

For me it was "that reaver" and "that arcane warrior",

And that archer dropping 6 long shots from the room on Zone 4, 2 long shots for each time he kept standing in the door, dying instantly, and heading to the Fade after 3 revives. Then bailing

Apologies to the Alchemist I pulled to zone 5 just in time for them to be killed by dragon spit. Seriously, I feel bad about it.

They should just rename it "Spectator Mode".

It would be better if someone contributes to your entering the fade that you could become a fire wrath and hunt them down.

And killing them revives you!

Damage output is great, but I can't keep him alive on Peri. Then again, I don't have the promotions most on here have.

Yeah. Need a fair amount of promos w him to carry a group. Decent barrier guy should be enough. High heal on kill is great. Even if you drop, aoe from fire & lightning often kill enemies & bring you back.

Joined a Routine match with my lvl 1 Avvar, zone 4, kill streak 43, am I the only one doing anything here..?  Others are Keeper lvl 15, Dualist lvl 15 and Archer lvl 8..  Couple of them even have decent banners up..odd..

 

Another few Routine matches this morning where a lvl 20 Necro is explaining at length how he does not need help when he gets hit, he will heal when we kill stuff..  yes, I am sure the Ele lvl 15 in there also knows this, I have payed a few matches with some characters and am also aware of the Necro's abilities..  

 

Anyway, let him prattle on about this that and the other, clear zone 1 in FC and he then says, just ignore that first treasure room, there is nothing in there, its just a useless shortcut..  Had to jump on my mic, "yes sir, there is a treasure in there and that route is possibly the best route to take on this zone as you can sneak up behind the enemies"..moment of silence, then: "well, they must have patched it then, I have played this map like a thousand times and there was never a treasure chest in there!"...ok...

 

All the rest of the match he keeps going on about different enemies, how lightning works, how to use HOK, certain end game weapons (see this Dragon Maul I am beating the dragon round the head with..?) I am not sure if it was for anyone's benefit, he was a nice enough chap and it was mildly entertaining but I am sure we all already knew this info,,,

Last night was rough.  Random Perilous folks after my group had to bounce.  

 

Group 1) I am playing Virtuoso.  Group is pretty scattered right off the bat.  I try to stick close to at least one guy.  Leggo was decent.  Hunter kept running away from me like I had cooties.  Avvar kept charging off as well.  Stage 3 FC, Avvar charges up steps while hunter goes underneath to the left.  I go up middle w Leggo.  Hunter dies.  Avvar charges across the bridge toward the gong, leaving me and the Leggo.  Dies.  At this point I lower my defenses like Obi-Wan and just accept my fate.  Avvar guy gets on mic for the first time, "Where was my barrier?!"  

 

Group 2) I'm playing Necro.  I enter match in progress.  Stage 1, and 1 guy is down.  I get there as fast as I can.  2nd guy drops before I get there.  We take care of a few enemies.  Revive 1 guy and he drops again.  2nd guy is closer to bridge and surrounded.  5 shield guys and a mess of archers are coming at us.  We attack & fall back.  3rd guy drops. All bodies are surrounded by enemies. Now, Maybe it's been done, but I cannot solo perilous with a Necro.  So, I did not last long.  Random guy: "why didn't you revive us?"   

 

Group 3)  They have a Virtuoso with a 250 perilous completion banner, so I'm confident.  I stick by the bard.  We are struggling on stage 1 a little.  I notice that the bard is not using barrier.  At all.  I ask wtf is going on.  Nobody responds.  We move around to first set of stairs.  No barrier.  ZITHER! is in the red. He drops.  I get one shotted by an archer.  Guy dies reviving me.  We wipe.  I message the guy using ZITHER! asking why he wasn't using barrier.  His response: "Well I got more kills then you".   

 

Then there was group 4...

Decent barrier guy is hard to find.  It's a bit of a dead horse subject, but...  I will usually take a level one character to Routine to get a couple of levels before I head to Threatening.  No friends to carry me through, sorry.  Was a level one hunter playing with a level 15 keeper.  Never once did I see a barrier. 

 

Whatever, it's routine.

We fly through the 1st 3 rounds,  Nobody drops, we stick together, it was awesome.  No mics though, but we were fine.  Wave 3 complete, I run over to the gong to use it.  I hit A, nothing happens.  Me: S***, I'm out.  I can craft it for the next one".  Not sure if anyone heard me.  I had like 20 dragon calls at one point...lost track I guess.  A voice pops in.

 

Player 1: We're in party chat. Hit the gong or we're f***ing booting you.

 

Me:  I have no call...look ::jumps up and down at gong::  I'll craft one for next match.

 

P1:  Hit the f***ing gong.  You got 2 votes for kick on you.

 

Me:    I'd love to...I can't.

 

P2: Just f***ing boot him.  I'll hit it when he's gone.

 

I run over to the door and open it, teleporting all.

 

Me: F*** you guys.  Now nobody fights the dragon.

I get that too, could have sworn I had loads then suddenly, all gone..  Crappy attitude from the rest of the team though, even when you told them you'd make one for the next match.., good work on trolling them into zone 4.. haha!

Had a nerd rage AW named Leon67 (or very close) who died with the rest of us on FC wave 4. I was leveling up my Duelist he blamed me for his death said he had promotions in the 90's. Not sure how I killed him pretty sure 10+ mobs did. It was only 3 of us.

Hate to break it to you but AW is so 2 months ago.

Plus it was a 3 man group its not all that uncommon to die on wave 4 FC when charging. Still doesnt mean I killed you.

Plus- id like to add my personal feeling is that you would be helping us all out by playing a class that can do some major dps (assasin, alchemist,necro, reaver, avar , duelist ect) with promotions that high.

Played with death2allweaboz on xbone, guy pretty much soloed all of zone 3 and 4 with his hunter on fc while my katari and pug alchemist and keeper were sent to the fade. Stayed for a few games afterwards and I found out he was top 12 on leaderboards, never talked but he seemed to know what he what doing all along. Rather that, than some pug who constantly yells and barks orders. =)

I don´t get it. If they have one, why do they want to kick you if you won´t use yours? And why can´t they use theirs while you are still in game?

More than likely, they would have kicked him within seconds after he rang the gong if he would have had a dragon call.

 

It's happen to me multiple times, usually people aren't as pushy with me, and try to trick me by being nice and making an excuse why they don't have one. Then after I use my call, bbbbbbbbb BOOT. 

 

I have no idea why though, maybe they have a fourth friend ready to join up and they want to get him a shot at a dragon drop as well? XP wise, it is a stupid move, but then again every time it has happened to me it has happened with 1-2 of the people being lvl 20.

 

 

Another of the many, many, many reasons I never use one of my Dragon Call's in a PUG until we complete a full run together and someone else uses theirs in that run. I'm plenty happy to skip the Dragon rather than get burned. I make exceptions sometimes, but if there are two lvl 20s in a four man PUG, i will NEVER. Just being lvl 20 on a run already makes me suspicious of them of wrongdoing.

As Yumi said: 9 times out of 10, if there is a level 20 in the group that is usually a good sign not to use it. If there are 2... fugeddahbowdit.

4 times over the 80 hours or so logged In DragonSlayer isn't that bad. Acting like that will quickly seal them off to their little circle of friends and they will abandon the game to go back to Destiny. I think the $30 sale brought over some Call Of Duty plebs. Maybe it's just a coincidence, but they've always sounded like college age or younger makes when it happens. All the girl gamers I've met in DAMP have been awesome sauce across the board
