She usually just ass punches me. At a low angle. And catches me between the legs with a back sack smack. That's ok though b/c I credit card swipe her at massively inappropriate times in public.

he got impatient and door warped because the group had chest guardians to kill first.

 

i got a laugh next zone though when he's all, "hurry up and kill that last one already," and i was at the other end of the map auto attacking intentionally verrrry slowly, firing maybe every 2 seconds, hoping i wouldn't crit so i could prolong his wait juuuust a little.

 

then he goes to open mage door, says, "here lemme show you how it's done," and opens a free chest, and is all, "see blahblahblah."  i swear my eyes rolled back 180 degrees. muted him and just went on, hoping he was nerdraging about how inefficient this threatening fc stroll was.

 

then at zone 5, i guess he wasn't in a hurry anymore because he went to go prime a trebuchet while we waited at the flag. then he stood outside the flag circle while fire rained down (which i dodged, but the other two took a hit or two). i checked player list and he had one kick vote, i added a second but i think unfortunately the avvar was a new player and hadn't run into enough jerks to learn about the in game kick vote. i was about to reach for alt-tab to go read forums while waiting but he finally stepped in and planted the flag.

 

just in case he was in a hurry again after planting, i made sure to do the bare minimum, maybe a long shot every 20 seconds.

Isabella's great on routine (as is everyon). One shot kill crossbow attack. It's hilarious.

Group 4)  Necromancer (me, lev 16), Isabella (lev 19) Virtuoso (Lev. 20), AW (Lev 20).  I guess they don't promote?

 

We fly through the 1st 3 rounds,  Nobody drops, we stick together, it was awesome.  No mics though, but we were fine.  Wave 3 complete, I run over to the gong to use it.  I hit A, nothing happens.  Me: S***, I'm out.  I can craft it for the next one".  Not sure if anyone heard me.  I had like 20 dragon calls at one point...lost track I guess.  A voice pops in.

 

Player 1: We're in party chat. Hit the gong or we're f***ing booting you.

 

Me:  I have no call...look ::jumps up and down at gong::  I'll craft one for next match.

 

P1:  Hit the f***ing gong.  You got 2 votes for kick on you.

 

Me:    I'd love to...I can't.

 

P2: Just f***ing boot him.  I'll hit it when he's gone.

 

I run over to the door and open it, teleporting all.

 

Me: F*** you guys.  Now nobody fights the dragon.

They are, but even then that shouldn't justify being a jerk to the group. Heh, leaderboards slumming it in threatening don't get a free pass if they can't be decent and civil about wanting speedy runs.

 

Thankfully, most leaderboard people I run into in pugs are either nice on the mic, or just quiet, and treat people decently.

Played with death2allweaboz on xbone, guy pretty much soloed all of zone 3 and 4 with his hunter on fc while my katari and pug alchemist and keeper were sent to the fade. Stayed for a few games afterwards and I found out he was top 12 on leaderboards, never talked but he seemed to know what he what doing all along. Rather that, than some pug who constantly yells and barks orders. =)

I end up in pugs with this guy all the time. Always good. Happy when I see his name in a lobby

Another of the many, many, many reasons I never use one of my Dragon Call's in a PUG until we complete a full run together and someone else uses theirs in that run. I'm plenty happy to skip the Dragon rather than get burned. I make exceptions sometimes, but if there are two lvl 20s in a four man PUG, i will NEVER. Just being lvl 20 on a run already makes me suspicious of them of wrongdoing.

 

The first week or so of the DLC being out, I kept Isabela at 20 to just farm dragons until I got all the weapons, because I rarely run in private groups and releveling to 20 in pugs is usually slow. But I certainly don't blame ya for being weary after post-call kicks like that.

 

Would be too hard for Bioware to code in now, but it'd be great if vote-kicking the dragon call user reset the group back to the start of a fresh zone 3.

Seriously though, unless you are power chord/ice beat nuking mobs, why would a virtuoso run ahead? After promoting him 8 times, I still don't have an answer to that.

My first time asking a pug to leave a pre-game lobby to make room for a friend, braced myself for awkwardness/hostility but was pleasantly surprised by a quick and polite departure.  Thank you, perilous-storm-dragon-killing hunter pug whose name I can't remember, for helping to ease my hesitance to chat with strangers online one nice pug at a time.

Yeah luckily nearly every one of the PC leaderboard people I've bumped into, pug or private, has been very friendly or just quiet.  ...wow, just checked the top 100 for the first time since Dragonslayer came out and the landscape sure has changed a lot Also, I feel like I did something embarrassingly bad in a pug with you recently, so, sorry

Haha, I say that because I will run ahead with the intention of waiting till the Warriors run past, barriering them as they fly by me.  Had a group that apparently was offended by this and just stopped playing.  Seriously, grow up.  Anyway, they waited till I died to start playing.  I waited for a couple minutes for them to start playing.  Dedication to the bit at least.

I find that if you assume that the silent pugs you are with are 3 years old, it helps a little with your mindset.  "Why the hell did they do that?...oh...they are 3". 

 

This is why we can't have nice things guys.

...learned that despite the fancy Hunter banner, I am still not able to make Hook & Tackle work in a more effective way than making myself giggle manically as I bleed out on Perilous.

 

The next build that starts with "I wonder why I never use that", everything's gonna be different!
