Mixed bag yesterday. Mostly good games. Had some nice Perilous PUGs with PS4's top leaderboard person - ltran. Perilous dragons still refuse to drop anything even remotely purple for me, not even superb runes, for God's sake.

 

Also experienced an amazingly laggy Threatening room that was just pure awful.

 

And also had a room with a great team clearing things quickly (plus treasure rooms) and then I loaded into Narnia on Zone 5 and had to quit out since it was 100% impossible for me to join the team at the flag. And no, BioWare, falling into a Narnia hole does not fix Narnia. You just reload into Narnia every single time.

 

So, a typical day in the PUG life.

Yeah, I recognize your name. I think you were. Don't worry too much about it, happens to all of us at some point (and my Internet may have been contributing to my ails, as my Zone 5 Narnia experience happened literally in the next match I jumped into). When I saw the Katari jumping almost non-stop trying to fight it, I knew we'd have some issues. I was mostly able to get around okay, but did have some out-of-body rubber-band moments and a few times where you feel like you're trying to run against a very strong wind. LOL Was glad I was playing a ranged kit (Elementalist) so I could just spam spell attacks and not be too impacted.

I feel like I have to share this.

The game was running smooth until the final area. Then two of the players magically disappeared through the walls, which made the whole set the flag thing impossible, that is, until they sort of started to glide/jump partially through the floor. We killed everybody except some enemie that had appeared beyond the borders of the map, inside the roof. The rest quit, and I ended up starting the wave again with a different team.

The pugs are sucking the enjoyment out this game for me. I've encountered some just awful team players.

One match that annoyed me in particular was Threatening FC. I was an Archer and we were doing good so I used a Dragon Call. Get to zone 4 and everyone decides to stand in the middle. I stay behind to fire arrows from a spot with cover. Two people go down and our tank just continues fighting, seemingly ignoring them. I decide to risk my life and manage to revive both. I return to the spot I was in before. Some enemies unexpectedly spawn behind me and I go down.

No one comes to revive me, even when the enemies are long gone. I used a Dragon Call and risked my ass to save two of them... yet no one bothers to save me. Really nice.

Because I had to leave in 25 minutes at the time to you spoke on the mic when I came into the lobby. And I had 2 minutes left when I left. So I guess maybe 12 min runs?

rock armor is op.

 

so my team dies on wave 5. i thought it was over. the priest/wrecking ball doesnt do well against archers.

then i use rock armor and he was nigh invincible. the venatori witch never had a chance.
