Going from what Thadrial just posted it's about time we had another AW nerf.

Was pugging various perilous maps. Kept getting outscored on a 10 to 1 basis. But at least I am not dying all the time like I used to. Now to upgrade that patchy grey gear and get into the double digit promote zone so I can actually start contributing meaningfully.

Was pugging threatening games.  Dropped into a group running Orlesian Chateau on zone 5 with my keeper.  Saved two of the three who were down.  The other (the host) ended up going into  the fade.  Ran another game with them, which went well.  Cleared treasure rooms, completed the mission, chatted occasionally with the archer in the group who was a bit weaker in skill level than the others, but still doing his best to pull his own weight.  Then as we're readying up, the host switches to FC.  Noticed that...

When we loaded in, the host was gone, and the game had migrated over to one of the other weaker players.  As we get through the front door, almost immediately the archer and reaver go down, before we get around the first bend.  Whilst trying to revive them I'm spamming barrier, attacks, static cage, and chain lightning and wondering how we've managed to draw so much agro, and why there's a neverending line of red dots on the horizon coming our way.  Midway through, a Zither! comes in and helps out tremendously.  We clear the zone, pop the treasure door, and it's then, fighting the spiders, that I realize that the damage that I'm doing to them is taking longer to kill them than it should, and I hit the V key.  Sure enough, it's then I realize that the host ninja switched us to Perilous before he bailed.  The *******.  I started laughing out loud and told the other players about it, and heard the nervousness in the voice of the archer, like it might have been his first perilous game.  Now, knowing the difficulty, and with the help of the awesome Zither! player, we stuck together, cleared every damned treasure room, and despite the occasional gasps from the archer of "I can't believe we're getting through this!" got full extraction against the Dragon.  Still got crap in terms of dragon loot, but the game was priceless.

player asks me if I'm mic'd up -- while I'm fiddling with the connection to get the headset to work, I'm told I'm the "weakest . . . . " and kicked -- not sure what I'm the weakest of since I was kicked before he finished talking.

Just as well since I really don't like using my mic.

So, I finally built up the courage to try the MP again with my Lvl 1 Keeper. (Routine/Elven Ruins)

1. Enter a Lobby with two other Keepers. - I quit because I think we might be too many Keepers.

2. End up in a Lobby alone and decide to solo to get to know my Keeper. - I'm not even through the first door when.... disconnect

3. Go back into MP, again end up alone in the Lobby. - Just went through the door and ready to fight an Venatori archer when again disconnect.

4. Enter a Lobby with a Lvl 13 Katari as host. - I follow the Katari, who fights against Red Templars, so I try to help by shocking them with chain lightning. Katari decides to run off, while I'm still fighting Templars without doing much damage. A moment later I end up in the Lobby. No idea what happened.

5. Enter another game. I think with the same Katari + two other charas. I kill two enemies and turn to shock some others when the game says Level Complete. Seems I joined right at the end.  My Keeper leveled up to Lvl 4.

6. Enter another Lobby. Empty again, so I go alone. My only enemies are some wraiths and nugs. Then I accidentally hit a Druffalo with chain lightning. It didn't like that and run me over. Instant kill.

Spoiler

7. Enter a Lobby with a Lvl 13 Archer. We make a good team, he kills everyone and I barrier him/shock the others. We get to the zone where you have to guard someone for Leliana. Well, the messenger outlived us...... At least my Keeper levels up to Lvl 6 and I finally decide to go to the shop. I open some free chests and get some random stuff, many potions, grey items and suddenly Virtuoso!  :o Didn't see that coming.  :D

8. I join a Lobby with the same Lvl 13 Archer.  Around zone 2 or 3 a Templar joins us. First I didn't see the life bar over their head and tried to shock them, cause I thought they were an enemy.  I'm sorry. There where so many enemies around. As an apology I casted barrier at once. The Templar then went on killing everything, while the Archer and I played support. One zone later a Lvl 6 Necro joins us and we four make it to the flag. I'm the first to die, the Archer and Necro follow soon and then it's the Templar against the Venatori Boss, while we watch from the Fade. A moment later the Templar joins us and we see Game Over. But it was fun.  :D

9. I join a Lobby with the Lvl 6 Necro from before. We're not bad, but the Necro dies and I try to revive them, just to get bit to death by a Mabari. Stupid dog.

So I ran into a leaderboarder who has been accused of cheating multiple times here. As far as I could tell, they were playing legitimately. The odd thing was that I went from carrying 2 newbies with the mighty AW in the 2 games before (one of them was so new they were spamming F4 by a warrior door for an entire zone, even though we had no warriors... not sure why they were in perilous), to bringing shame upon the mighty AW. I went down twice, couldn't even blame lag. Left the lobby immediately after extraction out of shame.

Yeah, dogs suck. They're just huge HP sinks. And they have the 'perceptive' passive to ruin stealth. On the plus side, they often replace archer, and their pathfinding is so awful that many times you'll find a significant proportion of the spawn standing in a corner doing nothing.

They're not doing nothing.  There's a great deal of tail-chasing and leg humping going on there...

The rate of spinning is immense. If only we could harness it somehow, we could provide cheap, clean power for all of Thedas.

The awkward moment when you play FC , you die , you get resurrected by an ally , only to die again by a wild dragon lightning bolt landing exactly where you got rezzed the moment you start standing on your feet . Well this happens to me from time to time , bad luck i guess , but sometimes it can get irritating , given that it takes some time to stand up and be able to use abilities - potions when you get resurrected and in the meantime you can die again very fast before being able to do anything .

Not just leg humping. I can't tell you how many times I've caught dogs/wolves doing unspeakable things to potted plants.  The horror! :o

I thought you were talking about a different type of spinning. The kind that requires sitting first.

That with them standing in a corner happened in my first run with the archer. I was fighting enemies, when I suddenly notice two red dots behind me. I turn the cam and see those two Mabaris running into the corner not knowing what they're doing themselves. *shocks them*

Not exactly a pug since it was me and 2 friends, but still something I feel like sharing.

We loaded in on the Ferelden Castle vs. Sparky on Threatening, me as my Katari and my friends as the Necromancer and the Templar.  It was set to public so that we could get a 4th to drop in, and wouldn't you know it, we got a 4th right when we dropped in.  Not only that, but it was the same pug who'd given me my first hate mail.

Cue evil plots forming.  He was playing as a lower-level Hunter and was spamming Hook & Tackle on enemies, which I felt a bit annoyed about.  I mean, that's my build!! (  :P )  Now, my friends weren't exactly the most skilled at this, so they went down a couple times before we got to Sparky.  Me and Ser Douche were pretty much carrying the whole match.  Unfortunately, Ser Douche hadn't gotten downed for the entire match until we got to Sparky, so no opportunities for payback.  Then we got to Sparky.

My one friend (the Necromancer) decided to chill down by the font while the rest of us dealt with Sparky and the Sparklings.  He'd already gotten downed 3 times in by that point, so he wanted to hang back so he'd stay alive for a decent amount of time.  The fight went fairly smoothly, me doing most of the damage.  Eventually, Sparklings started going downstairs to my Necromancer friend and my Templar friend went to go help him out while me and Ser Douche handled the rest of the Sparklings up top.  After that was done, my Templar friend came back up to us with his health in the red, Sparky now flying away yet again and a new wave of Sparklings appearing.  He went to go fire a trebuchet at Sparky, only to get swarmed by Sparklings.  I went to go pick him up and Ser Douche went down to a group of Sparklings.

TROLL MODE: ACTIVATE.

I went over to him and started to revive him, only to stop and circle around him before starting to revive him again.  I found it a bit odd that no Sparklings where coming my way, but I shrugged it off and continued with my payback.  After a few more times of that, I heard my friends say that they were both down and in the Fade.  No Sparklings left, so I stopped with my payback and actually revived Ser Douche and turned to see Sparky coming in for a landing, getting some distance from Ser Douche in the process.  Not less than 5 seconds after picking him up and moving away, Sparky spit a lightning ball at Ser Douche, quickly dropping him to very little health before he hopped out of the AoE.

Without thinking, I shouted, "PERFECT!!" into my mic and started laughing before charging at Sparky, Whirlwinding away quickly after.  After about a minute more of this, Sparky was almost dead, but Ser Douche was on the ground again and bleeding out.  Sparky had summoned full Guard and I was tempted to pick Ser Douche back up, but I ignored him and kept Whirlwinding away at Sparky, despite having a very clear window to revive Ser Douche.  Ser Douche soon took a trip to the Fade and several seconds later, Sparky was down.

After that, I switched to my Avvar (level 15 at the time) and saw that Ser Douche had switched to a low-level Reaver and put on the Poison banner and what I think was the Perilous portrait.  I'd muted him so he couldn't hear me (he had no mic, so I'm not sure if muting him would've prevent him from hearing me or not), allowing me to talk more freely about him.  We go into the match and my Templar friend had switched to his Archer.  Ended up going against Frosty that time and we load in and I see that Ser Douche has the Sulevin Blade equipped on his Reaver.  He starts Dragon-Raging away and I mention to my Necromancer friend that it looks like he's score-whoring.  Honestly, I was mostly joking about it, but I did kind of want to leave a final insult on him and getting him kicked from the lobby seemed like a good one.

My Necromancer friend agreed with me and tossed a kick vote on him, quickly followed by me, then my Archer friend.  Cue some laughs about that and soon after another dragon kill under our belts.  Well, I did end up having to 1v1 Frosty, but still.

TL;DR: Sweet, sweet revenge.

I had some interesting pugs today (not necessarily in this order).

I enter a Lobby with my now Lvl 10 Keeper and get kicked before I'm even able to read the classes of the other players.

I end alone in a Lobby and decide to go to my skills first, when I'm back an archer is there and we start a game. Just as the intro ends a third player enters and a loud "KRSCH!" shows that he has a mic. For the rest of the game I hear everything (banter, explosions etc) double and much too loud. My ears are still ringing. X__x

All in all I completed 5 games today. It was fun and I kept playing with a player named BLEK_VEST (first as an AW, later as Isabela)

Opened a treasure room by myself, confident I could handle anything that materialized.  Keeper level 16 and the bubble slows him down to the point where it's just a matter of time.  Unfortunately, he had no interest in me at all and strode forcefully from the room and after my team who was fighting the final spawn on the level.  I giggled sheepishly and looked at my husband whispering "they are gonna be SOOOOOO mad at me."
