Haven't been able to play DA MP lately due to my internet being down for the past week (on here via wifi hotspot atm). Do make sure to make enough pug sacrifices to the RNG gods to cover for me while I'm gone. Don't want them to suspect my absence, after all. ![]()

Joined a FC perilous match with Oenumos(sp?) and Demenode(sp?). Quickly realized someone was cheating when one did 1.2mill in damage with Winter's Grasp.
Welp, see ya later.

None of my friends are on DAMP right meow, so I guess I'll go poke the PUGs. If anyone on PS4 would like to play with me, pop me an invite. Sadly, mic is off since husband is asleep... so, I'm far less entertaining right now, but still... barrier bot. Plus, my screen shake brings all the boys to the yard...

I'm drunk. I need Perilous match points. I have a Level 13 Elementalist who would like to be your barrier bot/fireworks expert.

Wish I could help. Last time I was in that state I tried to use my tatas to bring peace. It worked about like this:

I would really like to hop on my husband's account to join up with you but the last time I tried that I faceplanted gloriously and hastily retreated to my PC in shame. Good luck

Thanks to Syandra for those few perilous rounds this afternoon. Especially for that zone 5 carry in one of the earlier matches, omg I died of embarrassment, I haven't gone to fade in so long, and then to top it off, have it happen on my duelist. lol...

A quick check reveals he's number 5 on the PC leaderboard.
Maybe he liked your origin name. I used to run into that guy on a regular basis in the early months of DAMP. He dropped into one of my games today (technically yesterday) and was kind enough to carry my level 1 duelist after I promoted her, expediting my trip to 100 cunning, so no complaints there.
Karma decided that I had to do some carrying of my own when he left, though. A few familiar names popped up, inbetween the squishy death-wishers (though they weren't bad). One was a Legionnaire who actually came over to me when I hit F4, dragging a cluster of enemies through my elemental minefield. It was beautiful. Necessary too, since we were the only ones left. I also got an awesome keeper who stuck around for a surprising number of games and practically became my assistant. I felt bad about leaving.

We have a quick Origin chat before i head out, seems like a thoroughly pleasant chap. A quick check reveals he's number 5 on the PC leaderboard.
He is very good at that - both carrying and being super nice.
He was the one who talked me into bringing a level 1 into perilous, back in the days when I dared not bring anything below a level 20. So congrats on making his acquaintance.
I don't remember the names of the pugs I played with yesterday. Some of them were really bad, and others were great. One stuck around for a few games and everything went smoothly. Kind of wished I had had my wits about and sent a friend request.
I also managed to shame myself in one of my last PUG games yesterday. Hubby convinced me to bring my level 14 avvar, eventhough I have really few promotions (hopped on the train late, especially when it comes to anything other than mages) and lack a superb HOK ring. Let's just say I spent more time in the fade than I did killing things...the PUGs we were playing with probably thought I was a complete idiot.

I saw this post and I just had to sign in to thank you for all the carrying, I dare not play anything other than keeper or duelist with my measly 15 total promotes (plus I just dropped dragon staff, which is nice)

Not a problem. If I can carry, I don't mind doing so. It doesn't always work out, but it's nice when it repeatedly does.

Not a PuG but I was on FC perilous and in zone 4 I could only see red templar foot soldiers. The archers and everything else were not there but my teammates could see them. Then for the dragon fight I could not see the dragonlings either. GG biower

So, just promoted Hunter, and joined a Threatening match instead of Routine out of laziness at level 1. The other teammate is a Level 20 AW. The game goes well, but I was rubberbanding a little. Still manage to contribute reasonably by knocking down any archers and assassins while the AW handles the druffy.
Then we got to zone 4. We cleared out the zone, then I goes to pick the lock.

I know I suck at MP, but I am not sure if this is any less embarrassing than joining a game and entering the fade in one minute... ![]()

Threatening was hilarious today.
I popped on around noon to get in a few matches and kinda hoped the daily challenge would be Red Templars and that I would knock it out early just in the course of things. That happened in literally the first match. Found a game-in-progress that needed a rogue, so threw my Assassin on to try and finish leveling her up. I should've known it was bad when I entered Zone 1 and all three teammates were already dead. I mop up the remaining enemies and the rest of the match went just about how you'd expect it to from that grand entrance. Zone 4 wipe, but got some XP for the Assassin and accidentally knocked out the Red Templar challenge. Knocking it out "early" also seems to have thrown my prestige points out of whack again, as my upper right shows 588 but the leaderboard properly shows 593. *sigh*
Spoiler alert: this was when DragonRacer should have quit for the day and put her ESO disc back in.
Instead, I decide to work on my mace challenge, so I run my Templar through a few matches. A few successes, mostly wipes. Apparently, everyone wants to play Fereldan Castle today.
Wait, let me amend that. Apparently, everyone wants to play Fereldan Castle and die horribly today. It's been a plague of no one using any strategy, dying out in the open on Zone 4 and then demanding I come out into the hurricane of arrows to revive them.
Planning one last match, I switch to my Elementalist to put levels on him. Normally, I go straight to Barrier first, then fill in Firewall and Firestorm. This time, I had done the opposite, so I had Winter's Grasp, Firewall, and Firestorm, but no Barrier. Not a big deal on Threatening; everything's going to die in a rain of fire anyway. I finally find a Threatening lobby not preset to Fereldan Castle and we ready up.
RNG, of course, gives us Fereldan Castle anyway. And just because RNG really loves me (which everyone knows from my ongoing 8-month saga of never getting any goddamn HoK rings... I still don't have one, BTW, for those of you keeping score at home)... it gives us the Inferno dragon. Because it's been a long time since I felt 100% useless, so of course it does.
On Zone 3, I regret not mic'ing up. Or it probably wouldn't have mattered anyway. But I wanted us to not ring the gong. Guys, literally, it's a fire dragon with immunity to fire and that's all I have going for me - I cannot even give you Barriers to help - so can we please not ring the gong and just have a normal Zone 5?
Nope, they ring the gong. Here we go.
I learned, at least, that Firestorm and Firewall are nice for taking the dragon's guard down fairly quickly. But, of course, I was doing nearly zero damage to her and my teammates were not exactly high on DPS either, so what followed was a 20-minute dragon fight into a wipe. The Archer died and Faded pretty much instantly, leaving me, a Legionnaire, and Isabela. I was the only one cranking the trebuchets and bothering to set them off, which was insanity because with no real DPS happening in this group (Isabela should have been DPS, but that was not the case in this group), the trebuchets were literally the best damage dealers. But no, I hoed that road alone while dragonlings bit my ass.
I tossed my two Jars of Bees. And stuck to basic staff attacks. That was, sadly, all I could do given the set-up.
Ultimately, we wipe. Yay, I feel awesome now. Was so helpful. And back in goes the ESO disc...

For the past few days I have been playing FC. I usually load the trebs up. Sure enough, half the games I have played someone is over at the treb I JUST LOADED, firing it off. Instead of leaving it alone they sit there loading and firing, loading and firing. All I can do is hang my head, count to five and move on.
I'm done killing dragons (though I will if people still need kills/weapons), so this never needs to happen to me again. The memories still pain me.
