What do people generally do if they are in a pug and get a game invite? Do you stick in the game or bail and go play with the people you know? I normally stay because I hate abandoning a group mid game but I am robbing myself of the ability to play some higher levels by not joining games with my high end, high rent players I know and play with at times on here.
I do the same, hoping that they understand. I can see how it might seem rude to the friends, though I usually explain that I'm in a lobby and would need to finish first.
This is probably only an issue for PC players, but half the time I don't even notice the invite. I'll exit the game and see four chat popups with older invitations in them. I get sound effects when players start playing a game I'm playing, but no sound alerts for invites...not sure what that's about, but it doesn't help.

Given my frequent comments regarding how bad I am, you won't be surprised to learn this was only the second time I had gotten through this room - and I was not about to start over or bail on the game. I wandered around, trying to find some other way into the room, and I went back to the exit door, and noticed that the little red dot was just on the other side of the door - he wanted me just as badly as I wanted him. So, I poisoned up my weapons and attacked the door. It worked!!! Key dropped and I got to go on my merry way to a quick and inevitable death in Room 5.
