What do people generally do if they are in a pug and get a game invite?  Do you stick in the game or bail and go play with the people you know?  I normally stay because I hate abandoning a group mid game but I am robbing myself of the ability to play some higher levels by not joining games with my high end, high rent players I know and play with at times on here.

I do the same, hoping that they understand. I can see how it might seem rude to the friends, though I usually explain that I'm in a lobby and would need to finish first.

This is probably only an issue for PC players, but half the time I don't even notice the invite. I'll exit the game and see four chat popups with older invitations in them. I get sound effects when players start playing a game I'm playing, but no sound alerts for invites...not sure what that's about, but it doesn't help.

Couldn't find any lobbies for nightmare attempts last night, instead decided to go into a heartbreaker game solo with my level 18 elementalist with the goal of killing one enemy since I have never tried nightmare......I failed.  :P

Also I am now a member of the super Legionnaire club as I also had his level set back to 3 even though I was much higher.  I'm now at about level 12 I think and have all but one of the passives.

Depends.  If the match just started, I bail.  If we're nearly finished up, I try to find a place where I won't die long enough to send a message asking folks if they could wait a few minutes while I wrap up.

I love how I keep seeing people bail after being overwhelmed on nightmare runs, probably hoping to join some other game with carries, instead of maybe giving it a few tries, getting practice in and maybe getting better.

Better yet, gotta love people who aren't leaderboarders (or just known very good players) readying up with just two or three in the lobby when I know that myself and the other person aren't good enough to make up for having a smaller team. To hell with starting off short and hoping someone joins, it almost always ends up in a wipe and back to people bailing.

Some leaderboarders are pretty cool people, but I dunno, I think I'd feel more accomplished getting my first hakkon gear while on a team where everybody contributed equally instead of being carried to some degree.

Obviously here by "love" i mean I'm glad I have a mic-level-mute push-to-talk because sometimes I can't contain nerdrage

Maybe they bail so the team doesn´t have to deal with stronger enemies. I know I bailed from few games, when it became obvious I would be dead weight and we were too soon into match.

I stay in the game to win/wipe, even if a PSN 'friend' invites. I feel I owe it to the group.

Mostly this is because I start the sessions as host and see who joins.  I think it would be unfair to the other party members to risk a host migration that might fail.

Not really a PUG because I'm trying to get better by soloing (routine, natch), but I had two interesting (at least to me) things happen last night.

1.  You know that glitch where the last enemy is stuck behind a door in Room 4 of FC? Well, I was playing my Assassin, and it was a mage door.   <_<  Given my frequent comments regarding how bad I am, you won't be surprised to learn this was only the second time I had gotten through this room - and I was not about to start over or bail on the game.  I wandered around, trying to find some other way into the room, and I went back to the exit door, and noticed that the little red dot was just on the other side of the door - he wanted me just as badly as I wanted him.  So, I poisoned up my weapons and attacked the door.  It worked!!!  Key dropped and I got to go on my merry way to a quick and inevitable death in Room 5. :D

2.  I extracted from the Orlesian Chateau against demons!!!  Only twice have I managed to do this alone.  Calpurnia, I'm coming for you!!!   :bandit:

^I had something similar with a hyena stuck in a wall, I guess, so I cast immolate where the red dot was on the map.

And last night wonderfully illustrated the power of friendship.  No cooperation=full party wipe, cooperation=event cleared with everyone standing and hug all around.

Had the dragon glitch out once where it was flying on the ground, went over to it just to see if I can hop on and catch a ride.  Ended up nudging it just enough that it got unstuck and did another fly over, where it promptly died on landing.

I got shot by an abomination that was being super charged by 4 templar knights. Suffice to say I did not survive and knights should not be able to charge the same person because it stacks. Oh god it stacks

I message back my friends telling them of the zone, so if they can wait good, if not that is fine. I would rather not abandon the PUG unless they were very annoying and I needed a excuse.... :P

I had my first nightmare dragon run tonight, Demons, and I was lying on Ferelden soil most of the time...but it was still fun, I like a challenge.
It was a private lobby. It took 45 minutes to kill the dragon eventually with two players in the top 50. Seconds before the Dragon died, I had a crash. No xp for me and of course no new weapon.
But I think BW was right, it's good to know that no one who leaves a game early on purpose earns any xp. Even in private lobbies.
The rampant game leaving has to stop. I'm talking about you, Gya, why do you leave my games all the time?

I'm farming hipster xp; get to zone 5 then disconnect.

I think it's a running joke with the DA servers now, they don't want to see us extract together. It will never be :(

I love how the laggy dead enemies run around body blocking me, and the live ones who are attacking me are invisible. Nightmare was too easy, thank the Maker for my potato router. >>

I hate mauls, I waited a long time to get the dragon maul and 1st game I couldn't hit shi* with it with my Reaver.  Immediately switched to the dragonn two handed sword.
