I hate mauls, I waited a long time to get the dragon maul and 1st game I couldn't hit shi* with it with my Reaver. Immediately switched to the dragonn two handed sword.
I'm with you on the maul hate in general, and my Katari still gets the sword. But on Avvar and Reaver, does it really matter for the 5 times you use basic attack in a run (4 of which are likely pots)? I've stuck with the maul for those.

Finished the personal challenge. Commendation chest netted me a Superb Crit Damage ring. Went and purchased a large chest. Another Superb Crit Damage ring.
Edit: the very next chest... Superb HOK Ring. If I was a gambling man I would hit up a casino.
I finally had a smooth, nobody-faded NM FC run, and finally got my first hakkon drop (sword). I don't play lego or templar much but now I have reason to play them more? heh.
Ugh I forgot to screenshot so I can't remember everyone's names, but much thanks to the alch (MrMcKillU), reaver, and fellow elementalist. First actually enjoyable NM run I've had since patch launch.
It wasn't a PuG, because it was a solo, but I'll stick it in here, anyway.
I tried to solo the challenge with a level 13 Keeper, and pretty quickly realized how annoying it was having double Revenants showing up every couple of waves. I hadn't played more than maybe 2 games in 4 months, and was having some serious trouble getting my rhythm going with all the stunlock and constant slowing.
There was a lot of running back and forth between whatever room I encountered the double Revenants in and the entrance to the wave. Generally, with each kite, I'd manage to whittle off a couple of mooks and maybe 10% of each Revenant's health. Then, of course, there was the epic kite-fest that was Wave 5 versus Red Templar Commander plus Revenants plus Spiders plus everything else.
The whole game took almost 40 minutes. But I won.
I felt a real sense of accomplishment at having managed to do it. I know that soloing routine is nothing serious, but under those particular circumstances, it was pretty trying (for me, anyway. I only have a few promotions.) Unfortunately, all the stunlock was incredibly annoying, and there's no way I'm doing that again! So, that'll be my last game for a while (which is why I put it in here even though it isn't a PuG.)
- I decide to level my Lvl 2 Alchemist and go and search for Routine/Random Lobbies. It's fun and soon I'm on Lvl 12.
Then youaremiles and I decide to play together.
- We end up in Routine/FC (I changed to my Lvl 3 Lego) everything's fun until. FLYING WOLVES!
We are just about to walk through the first gate, when a host migration happens and we end up in the Lobby. I try to join them again, but the team is full.
- So I search for another Routine/Random game and end up in an ongoing game in Orlais. I join them in Zone 4 and we make it without problems to Zone 5. Samson is killed fast and soon also his soldiers, but something's wrong.
Nothing happens.
I think we (my Lego, an Isabela, an Avvar and another Lego) walked around the empty area for at least 3 minutes without anything happening. The host then leaves and we (the other Lego, the Avvar and I) have to do Zone 5 again. So we kill Samson a second time and this time we go to score screen.
That was weird.
- Finally youaremiles and I are able to join a game together again. My Lego walks around a corner and sees a Templar on a balcony. Said Templar couldn't decide if he wanted to come down, or stay on the balcony.
Templar: *jumps down* *flies up again* *jumps down* *flies up again*
my Lego: ...decide...
That were some weird runs, but they were fun. 
My last like 25 games in raw, pugs and not pugs, as host and not host, as joining when match is playing, has one common thing.
Every time it was vs red templars...

Well...if it wasn't Red Templars, they couldn't double drop Shadows on your head while you're trying to camp the "safe" rooms on FC, now could they?
I think BLuke and Fiddzz are laughing their asses off at the grief the players are getting this weekend. Furthermore, I think that's a good thing. They need a good laugh once in a while, after all the grief they get from some people in the forums!
Wanted to join a threatening game already in play.

Had a threatening game yesterday and I'm not sure if it was the greatest thing ever of the most horrific thing ever. Was playing a level one Isabela only one other person joined. We get to the last wave and we are at the plant the banner near the pool at the back of the chateau map. Two revenants come out and start taking turns grabbing my isabela, this went on for at leat 5 times for each revy, One would grab me, i'd stab him about once and then the other a ways away would grab me away from the 1st. It was duelist ping pong between the two of them. A,amazingly we were still able to win the match. I was getting just enough elusives when i need them.
Did some fun PUGs in Routine & Threatening and leveled some of my charas.
Result:
- Lego now Lvl 20
- was able to craft Templar (now Lvl 10)
- Archer now Lvl 19
- found Assassin in a big chest

I had a very nasty surprise the first time I got hit by one of those. At first I was all like "haha poison lol", but then I was like "fade? Dafuq"
Yeah, it was worse with my Templar, cause she just wasn't able to get guard. 
It's nice if Keepers want to help, but can they please not kill the undead I need to get some guard with Shield Wall?

My last pug was erm Friday I think, 60% of the time I extracted everytime.
I had two very nice perilous pugs with 3 legionnaires and a reaver. First was on elven ruins and I was the only one to die in zone 5. Second was frost dragon in FC and only reaver died once at the end. The castle game was fast (about 15 minutes, and yes, for me it is fast), essentially lag-free, and everyone's experience was from 9K to 11K. We moved as a group mowing down whatever stood on the way. I wish we did NM after that but everyone hit level 20 and the group dispersed.
