Had a lot of good runs with Gilli and youaremiles yesterday, a bunch of them with a Lego who went from level 4 to level 16 and left us after we killed a dragon. It really is much nicer to play with people you know, though playing with random people is pretty fun as well. Did a few matches with youaremiles this morning to level up my Reaver and her Elementalist and had a few fun runs. Though in one of the matches Samson decided to spin around so fast, he almost lifted up into the air like a helicopter and killed my Reaver and everyone else in the process. 

 

Lots of new people around, which is nice. Hopefully the multiplayer will be supported for a while and there will be more maps and such added. It's really fun, especially once you get comfortable with the various classes and can explore different builds.

Two of the last 4 games I had last night I played from beginning to end including a gruelling perilous dragon match where the dragon was not summoned and afer victory I got the old busy signal and 'could not access da server' message.  Net result no exp. 

 

Only redeeming feature is that to make me feel better i spent some cash 1st thing this am got got the jade ham.   It may have just beat out the bitter axe for me now.  Not in effectiveness but heck who wouldn't want to beat the enemy to death with a large poisoned ham.

I'm currently in the fade and 2 brave legionaires try to finish off a fire perilous dragon... but it was my dragon call

 

 

so I will stay and meanwhile do the laundry, wash the dishes, cook dinner, smoke one, watch a movie....

Ran into my newest friend, VladImpalerIII...from the 'new to mp' thread.  Had big fun, he's rockin' the avaar, I'm trying my best to keep him barriered with my cranky keeper.  Extracted twice before I had to call it a night.

So I just discovered two things that I didn't know about this game, neither of which I like.

 

I went to play an archer. It was very frustrating, because I loaded into a game in progress, and landed in the middle of a battle with mostly footsoldiers. They kept blocking my attacks, and it was getting really frustrating because I was taking a lot of damage from guys who "should have been dead."

 

Well, one guy ran into the battle, ran right past me, and charged one of my teammates. I thought to myself, "Hah! He can't even see me. He has no idea that I'm here, and his back is to me. Time to finally get a kill!"

 

So I used leaping shot at him when he was about 4 meters away, from behind, while he was charging a teammate. He blocked all of the shots. Every last one. I did 0 damage to him.

 

With this information, I fail to see how the Venatori ever lost a battle to the Inquisition.

 

Also, at the end of the match, my level 9 Archer gained three levels, but did not gain any ability points. I have no idea what the heck happened.

Decided to risk some threatening runs...in a hurry to level up my Keeper and finish the challenge.  Different folks, but even without voice, it was well-oiled machine time.  Extracted on all, including a couple of dragons. 

 

The last one dropped my Isabela armor...SOOOOO HAPPY!!!!!!      

 

See, that's me being happy instead of grumbling something that sounds an awful lot like 'finally'.

...I'm having the weirdest week.

Well, I finally did some Perilous matches as my Assassin (with the same Katari mentioned in my last post, though he was level 13 when we jumped to Perilous).  First match was with a person I recognized pugging with a while back who was playing as their low-ish level Elementalist with a leaderboarder who was playing as a high-level Alchemist.  We ended up getting demons on the Chateau, but despite this, me, the Alchemist, and the Katari managed to stay up until we got to zone 5 (the Elementalist went down a couple times).  We did fairly well for the most part vs. the Demon Commander and his mooks, though the Elementalist went to the Fade pretty early.  When the Demon Commander was almost dead, the Alchemist dropped, and I moved in to revive him while the Katari kept me covered.  As soon as the Alchemist was up, I moved away because a puff of green smoke popped up under the Katari and he was pretty close to me.  Sure enough, the Alchemist got thrown into the red and managed to stealth away before I Twin Fanged the Demon Commander from stealth.  The Commander dropped and the Katari went to pick up the Alchemist again (I think he got shot by a Wraith) while I went to handle the remaining mooks.  Not that much long after, the Alchemist was down yet again and the Katari was in the red.  I was at the top of the stairs and he was a few steps behind me, but he threw a Healing Mist right in front of me before he died.  Before I could go to pick him up, a Wraith shot me before a Fear demon killed me.

 

Even though we failed in the end, I felt that we did really good, especially since it was my first Perilous match as my Assassin.  The Blade of Red Birth and Superb Life-Drain ring were really helpful.

 

Afterwards, I got to level 20 and the Alchemist dropped out, soon replaced with a high-level Elementalist.  We got Red Templars in the following match, but we managed to extract with little issues (I kept one-shotting the Behemoths with a Twin Fangs to the back   ).  Not bad for my second Perilous run as my Assassin.

In team comp necro with deathward on nightmare + is nigh unkillable self reved like 14 times in a game did not care if I died or not. Just launch a walking bomb as soon as you hit similicrum and don't detonate it. I did get unlucky or too daring in one match where I forgot that a pride demon could easily stun lock me dealing huge electro damage which unfortunately instafaded me as similicrum was on cooldown still. Lol there were times though I was in the fade and poped back into the game after a damage dot tick. Problem with deathward though is that it's base dps is so low and with barrier party member a higher dps staff is still better or you're in a random PuG or dragon is inferno.

Had some great runs with alineinabook & youraremiles again. Promoted most of my characters and also got the Avvar after a run, which means I finally have them all. (only have to promote my Avvar and I promoted everyone once)

 

We did some runs with an Ele who....well I like to call him "poser-Ele", or "show off-Ele" cause idk how I should describe his pose in the ending screen better.   (he did that in EVERY run  )

It's great, I'd love to get up there again, but haven't managed it yet. 

 

What I forgot in my last post, I took some great pics when I went to the Fade and wanted to show them to you.

Note: I took the following three pics in the Fade, but I tweaked them a little in photoshop with Auto Color Correction, Auto Smart Fix and Auto Sharpen, to get natural colors without the green hue of the Fade.

There is glitch that doubles your xp and gold. It´s unclear what causes lobby to glitch, but BW is investigating the cause. And you don´t have to worry about ban

Thank you dear! Yeah, I know but staying would have meant using the glitch (if it happened on accident) on purpose. Plus, I had to go anyway. The weather was so nice today, I just had to go out in the sun and drink have fun with friends.

I just finished my first challenge in about 4 months. It was grindy, but at least I didn't have to solo to do it (not counting the last titch of experience that I solo'd Threatening to get... barely, since I died in the first zone.)

 

Edit: Oops, I got 2 Commendation chests for it, instead of one. Perhaps the double experience/Gold bug has some impact if you go into the store immediately after you get it?
