I lucked into a good PUG group last night. I was mostly playing my Necro to figure out a good strategy for her. I can't quite decide if spirit mark is useful enough to offset it just being single-target.
I also feel that the game is mocking us when it takes four zones for a single door to appear that we can open.

We never even got our game started as someone left after leeching level 1's
Don't worry next time we meet up I think I have about 6 or 7 characters up to mid-teens, my plan is to roll them through nightmare one by one. Except my assassin... I suck with the assassin.
Maybe I have to host all the time or something. I'll give it one more try doing nothing but hosting this eve. If I get more results like above I just might be done.

Man, I would never give someone crap for being low level in threatening. I'm tempted to do it myself to level up, but I'd just end up dying a lot. I got lucky with Isabella in a chest so I was playing with her this weekend. I fell flat on my face first time out but with some levels and smart play I can see how she's a powerhouse.
I have a question if anyone knows the answer. Do venatori marksmen have an ability to kill when they die? I swear this has happened to me twice; I've killed the archer and there is no one else around, but I hear a sound like I've been shot three times and than I'm dead, with no idea what happened. I don't think it's lag, so I figure I'm just missing something obvious.

It's just that the rest of the game didn't feel laggy so it's weird. I'll just chalk it up to freak occurrence or punishment for hubris or something.
Joined a perilous match that had just started. There's a guy who I've pugged with before, but he never had a mic before this. He was playing with his friend (stop with the dirty minds!) whom he was talking to the whole match. He was wondering out loud whether we would extract when the third, rather scrubby player went down, then he looked at the player list and saw I was there. He then spent the entire match singing my praises to his buddy. There was a warm feeling in my chest

LOL, I've been sitting at 24 out of 25 on my perilous fire dragon objective for a coons ages. Finally this am I get a pug game set up for this, a level 1 guy and a decent looking reaver, a decent avarr shows up soon so we battle our way through and indeed beat the firey beast. Yes! Finally that objective will be out of the way! Look at the objective board still 24 out of 25.
Now since this game is set up to make the player paranoid I think that the game may have been one of these double exp things as the 1st level guy made it up to level 17 which seems high for one game and my Templar that was about 17.5 promoted. so now I am wondering if bioware put something in where if they detect a double exp game they do not set the objective counter?
Also, what the hell is the Legendary Dragon Hunter objective? I can't see anywhere where it tells you what it is and I am at a zero for it. Could it be heartbreaker dragon wins or something?

Nightmare, I think, gets you the legendary stars. I would think HB too should count against it but I'm not sure on that point.
So, I just found my first a*shole dynamic duo on perilous. Whole party wiped by the frost dragon.
The necromancer was cool but went down via frost breath. The hunter standing next doesn't bother to revive, and the legionnaire is literally prancing around. I disengage the the dragonlings and trek across the field but am too late to revive. The archer dutifully dies and starts spamming the "come here button", I'm unable to revive due to being constantly knocked down/frozen by the dragon, and the legionnaire doesn't give a damn. The hunter dies, obviously.
Next, the legionnaire goes down, I revive, he goes down again, I revive, he goes down again, and then I go down frozen to death by the dragon and presumably mauled by the dragonlings.
Sorry, just needed to vent a little. I'll be going now...

Hmph, I've been part of at least 5 or 6 nightmare dragon victories and still have zero stars.

Had this once while doing old maps. Did a perfectly smooth running Perilous run. Leader must have changed the difficulty afterwards to NM while I managed the skills. Didn't change my playstyle as I thought we're doing perilous. Also, changed to virtuoso for the first time after barrier nerf. Thought "Wow, barrier sucks now." because NM destroyed my barrier literally. Still... we managed to get to Zone 4. Changed classes afterwards, still didn't notice the difficulty change. Played Reaver without barrier. Used my "Search and Destroy" perilous playstyle. Managed to get to zone 4, then wiped. We then did another game, same setup, same result. I just thought "Well, we really sucked the last three games. Not one extraction." and left the group. As I started to search for a new group I see the NM difficulty set and realise we had in fact done pretty well xD
Boring, dry, efficient runs this morning after work. The usual perilous. Got 2 cunning quickly though, so that was nice. 1/3 the way to 100% crit!
Negative:
Joined an ongoing Threatening match with my Lvl 16 Archer, there was another Lvl 16 Archer (Host), a Lvl 1 Assassin and a Lvl 11 Avvar. The other Archer and the Avvar gave the Assassin two kick votes and the Assassin responded in giving everyone kick votes. 
Got kicked from Threatening with my Lvl 8 Lego.
Like, seriously? 
Positive:
Killed 4 Dragons. 3 on Threatening and 1 on Perilous. 
Got a new Armor for my Necro after the Peri Dragon.
