fired up threatening lobby for my level 7 assassin set to random -- gah. Fereldan -- I plow forward anyway figuring someone might join. I started alone. I finished alone. Wasn't as much fun but I've never faced off against the dragon by myself.

Joined a NM FC in progress, zone 4 by the font, Venatori Brutes on my screen. Other players flopping around to the side of me. Cast Barrier then started dropping meteor storm and fire wall, and winters grasp to get some cc going. Cleared that little mess, I get two skulls..... yeah...
Ever notice is the people with 250 Threatening banner that are kick happy?

I know the feeling.
My wife isn't speaking to me much due to too much time on DAIMP.
oh wait....
If my wife can have a work husband, I don't see why I can't have a digital wife.

Can't say I ever teabagged another player myself, however I did witness my first pug on pug crime in one of my games this evening. The host wasn't too happy with one of the players, he/she put an X on this person twice, that player wasn't poor or leeching as far as I could tell from our previous game but eh whatever. Anyway the host (Zither) goes down on the third wave Templars, myself and an archer were kinda tied up at the time. I was on my way to help him/her but then I see to my left the heroic Lego charging forward, hacking and slashing their way to help our fallen comrade, well, sorta... dip, dip, dip, dip. This went on for a good few seconds, made me laugh more than it should have, had to take an emergency health potion as a result, hilariously distracting.

Gya speaks the truth. Two days ago we had a new player playing Kepper that insisted on opening treasure rooms alone. I really enjoyed seeing him go down in half a second and not rez him.

Was doing a bunch of perilous pugs on old maps to try to quickly promote a few characters. I just felt like I needed to get *something* done yesterday. I kept getting CTDs, Narnia while hosting, Disconnected from session While hosting, and It was starting to wear on me.
I found this sort of strange phenomenon with PUGs. There was one gentlemen in particular that would I would get put in lobbies with and he would drop before the game started. then I would start solo, solo a few rounds, then people would start dropping in. He would join mid match. Everything would go smooth, then drop before the next match. I'd start up and sure enough, some time in the round he pop back in. This happened maybe 6 times.
I am not sure if somehow I offended this guy, or that he had extreme social anxiety and didn't want to play more matches with the same people. It's not like anyone was talking or anything. But I would have thought after the first few successful matches that he would realize it was probably the only public perilous lobby in region at the time. And beyond that, it was smooth efficient runs.

That sounds like my behavior quite often. I do not like to hold up a game if I am promoting or deciding which class to use or perhaps I don't have an apropos class ready for the next match. I also do things between matches so if i am cooking or getting ready to feed or walk the dog, or going downstairs to get a glass or bottle of wine I leave the lobby and then pop back in to the game a few minutes later and fairly often with the same person who has been hosting.

I had some time before work this morning, none of the usual gang were around yet so I ventured into a pug, I was rolling a lvl1 reaver and try as I might I could not find any perilous lobbies, so dropped it down to threatening and started it up. Solo'd till about zone 4 when two lvl16 duelists joined.
Great, so this should now be a cake walk to the end and I get my levels and can get some actual abilities.
These guys....these guys, they just kept falling down, there was no real logic to what they were doing, but we extracted with some judicious rock tonics in the finale.
So I figured I should now drop out and find a peri match, but I just couldn't leave 'Slugger' and 'Catcher' behind. So I bump up the difficulty and fire up the match.
Things go about as well as you could hope for them really, noticed they were both wearing the default do-rag look on issy and a quick check of their banners showed one had none and the other had a lowish level one.
By zone 2-3 they were struggling but hanging in there, a friend logs on and joins in and smooths the way till we all finally crash and burn to the Ven commander.
Just time to roll one more round of random peri and we get FC Lightning...balls!
There are a lot more fade situations from sluggy and catchy but Lef and I are duo reaving our way through the increasingly tough mobs.
I'm feeling a lot of love for our newbies so I call the dragon.
Sadly they both get alpha strike'd by the dragon and watch us rip it up. Two people being out made it difficult to run to the trebs but in the end they weren't needed. To celebrate I received a ferelden frost bow or some such ****.
I don't know what our two ships in the night (morning?) got but I hope they had fun!

Friends are mid-game. I decide to hop into a Perilous match for a quick run.
I join a random lobby and see three new Gamer-tags. I recognize the majority of people I play with who have banners/portraits. But these three all had an agent banner and I'd never run into them before. We ready up and get the match started. First zone is over quickly. I'm thinking to myself, geeze am I the only one experiencing this odd lag? Then I notice the double gold...bah. Finish the match and leave.
Join up with friends and share my experience. They then echo that they experience the same thing when joining PUG lobbies 50% of the time. One friend even shared that he was recognized as a leader-boarder and was warned by the host before they started the match that their lobby was bugged. We all agreed that was actually a pretty nice gesture.

I'm currently finding myself with some quality fade time on my hands, so here is a report from the front lines:
Popped into a perilous lobby that had just started. FC, Storm dragon. Leader is a level 1 reaver, we also have a mid-teens Zither, and a high level AW. This should be alright, and we generally power through the first 4 zones, though the Reaver and Zither eat dirt a couple of times. I generally have full health and guard the whole time.
Enter the Dragon and I find myself lightning zapped along with both the Reaver and Zither, AW gets me up but the other two are down. We take the Dragon to 1/3 health before I drop.
And just as I type this, the AW pulls it off. Good job, dude.
I'm finding myself in need of more Katari practice. Also lightning resist potions.
