Played a match with two others in Fereldian Castle, Perilous.

 

The Katari dropped at the feet of a mage, I foolishly tried to revive him thinking I had no aggro; when he planted a frost rune right underneath us and killed me off, too.

 

Curious thing is, I instantly  bled out and went into the Fade - the other guy fought at least for another minute or so and I hadn't got knocked out a single time before.

 

edit: Oh, and in the second attempt I also got disconnected from the session; despite us having looted a purple card from the very first chest.

Had a fun match earlier today. I wound up in a match with a Keeper who was in love with Dispelling things. And I mean Every. Thing.

 

Random un-barriered enemies, us, that door over here, us, that box over there, us, that patch of greenery over yonder, us...

 

I was laughing so hard I could barely get through the match...

Rather than join a perilous match at level 1, I usually host a pug on threatening to gain the initial levels/skills. So, soloed my archer and got to zone 4 elven ruins with demons. Was joined by a level 20 arcane, no banner/title etc.. either a new player or a player who does not promote methinks. Revived them as best as I could, in zone 5 the arcane in the fade and I cleared. Tried to chat to find out if they were aware of promotions etc. but left my lobby very quickly.

 

Not keen on joining a perilous pug with a level 1, can lead to some discontent. When I feel I can solo perilous at level 1 I will host a pug and then players can decide if they want to join.

Bumped into a player called Bio****** (censored just in case not kosher to post) with a Bioware banner. Dev? Just a pug threatening level dragon match, but it was good and a superb amulet of strength dropped.

Was it me? If it was on PS4 it was probably me while trying out the Silent Sister.

If you see someone with a BW banner on either routine or threatening, it's safe to assume it's a BW dev.

i put 32 heal on kill. on my bow.

took me forever to craft the cloth i needed.

 

was doing well in nightmare solo. then someone joined.

i made the mistake of trying to revive when they fell on the first wave.

Had someone demand I be kicked because I made us skip a treasure room.  The door had been opened and the heal font had already been used, then the mage wants to go back and open the treasure room.  Considering the mage and the archer were in the fade for most of room 3 (when I came in) and room 4, I decided the odds of them being at full health for the dragon fight was slim so I opened the last door.  The same 2 of course died quickly and the person who wanted me kicked decided that he wouldn't fight.  He was an assassin and just would use stealth when the adds spawned and sit and watch while I soloed the dragon and all the adds.  But hey at least I got to figure out that Silent Sister can easily solo perilous dragon fights at lvl 12.

I do that all the time.  And then as I'm on the ground, I remember that I must never stop killing.

I joined a threatening fc game the other day and accidentally teleported everybody into zone 4 after the last chest was got but before the dragon was called. I just sort of forgot about it, but the host got really mad on mic. Then she immediately exited out. Luckily the migration worked out and the rest of us kept our exp, but it bummed me out for a bit.

Went into perilous to level up my Lvl 16 Reaver, so that I can promote her and ended up on FC, Frost Dragon together with three Silent Sisters.

We made our ways to Zone 3 onto the bridge, where a Host migration happened, so we tried the Zone again, but the Despair Demons killed us before we even had fully crossed the stairs.

So we tried again, this time with me as host, the two remaining Silent Sisters and a newly joined AW. I went to the Fade in Zone 4 (RT Archers  ) but the other three cleared it soon and we went on to face the Dragon. I got downed eventually, but the other three took him down.

 

Got three purple cards at the end. 

 

- Superb Amulet of Dexterity (which rogues do more profit of this? Archers or Meele? cause I have a Superb Amulet of Cunning on all Rogues atm)

- Superb Frostrune

- Lvl 24 Nameless Blade

So many people playing the sister..... I felt bad for one player cause try as hard they could just put out the damage on perilous.

Tried a mini Elvis on Nightmare was another mini elvis and a katari.  Dragon castle of course and demons.  The katari went down a fair bit, not a bad player, just circumstance.  The silent sisters were doing great.......until the ice witch level.  Then it became much tougher, being a pug team there was no real prioritizing the despair demons and thus they were giving us huge problems.  Seemed to regain control of the level to some extent......

 

Black screen.....busy cursor signal.....host migration failed, f*** you for playing, hope you enjoyed your 20-25 minutes of grinding for nothing,.....thanks come again.

 

Another reason I hate that level, because nightmare games take so long the chances of a crash or narnia are much higher than other maps.

Just had a really fun set of matches pugging Ferelden Castle Nightmare. We had an elementalist keeping us barriered, legionaire keeping the enemies nice and clumped, katari doing his spin to win thing. Real nice teamwork. Not the typical kamikaze fare I expect in a pug. I hope I run into them again.

Had one like 2 days ago, random pugs on peri I was levelling my katari from l1 with a team of 15+ others. 

We got venatori.

All went quite decent in zone 1-4 one pug kept dying, but I tried t revive ach time, open treasure rooms for them when they wanted, handled the guardian and all aggro I could gather. I really not mind pugs or if they are less promoted/geared/skilled/with lag/others since I know I was also really bad when started doing peri the first time. It is nice to grind mood for them, so they will want to become better and kind of encourage. 

At zone 5 every one of them bled out and I revived them all possible times. I cleared all mobs only VC left which vs katari is a bit slow especially as I did not have fire resist tonic with me. That would help me greatly.

Like 4 minutes for sure passed (VC was on 60% but sadly she kept barrier herself up) when they started to use microphone encouraging the third fade guy to kick me. Checked and I already had 2 kick votes for actually trying to make the operation into success.... I found it incredibly rude and not because the kick votes, more like they talked to the third guy to kick me instead of talk to me and tell that they want their damn xp and I just die so they not need to sit there and do nothing. 

Well I not wanted to lose the xp so before they get the hang with the third person for kicking me I let VC to kill me... It was really unpleasant experience.

Oh well, for sure I wont stand this guy in any of my lobbies if I ever encounter him again.

I just stumbled into a room with two ~uber powerful~ friends. I hopped in without checking the settings, and it took me a zone to realize it was Heartbreaker.

 

My crummy 23/50/40 stats are luckily less relevant here since I was playing a keeper, so I can stay away from all the weird new attacks the enemies have and just stand far away to throw barriers and Static Cages. It wasn't easy, but we manage to get to Zone 5 steadily! Even got some inkling on which enemies has which attacks. Of course, it was mostly "I stick to the archer and we do half-assed support fire with Static Cage and Leaping Shot and Barrier" while the ~pro~ are upfront soaking everything. Even got the Demon Commander down in the chaos. Not by me, of course.

 

Then we got overwhelmed by the 7 Calpernias or something. That was really really creepy to me for some reason, and the plummeting FPS from all the Calpernia Firewalls make it even spookier.

I feel your pain, some people are inexplicable! I got kicked recently from FC perilous. 2 of the pugs were newer players, and a third joined, at zone 2. The pugs went down, leaving the entire spawn aggro'd on me. I went to try and revive, but they were just lying there out in the open at the feet of 3 venatori brutes all with full guard, and with a ton of archers around, and sword mooks already chasing me. So I ran to cover because I don't have the con to withstand that much damage, and started to whittle down the zone, suddenly I'm kicked! Dunno if they were salty about not being rezzed or just got bored.

But somehow, I presume due to a glitch, I got some xp..... Heh.

I'd lean towards the former. I inadvertently ended up teabagging a dude today because I reconsidered reviving in the middle of three brutes. He dropped the game pretty much as soon as he bled out. Better that than getting up just to go down again, but apparently he felt differently.

 

But somehow, I presume due to a glitch, I got some xp..... Heh.

 

Happened to me the first time I played as Elvis, crashing in zone 5. For my trouble, I advanced straight through to level 2, joy of joys.

Did some fun PUGs with alineinabook, she with her Ele and I with Pala, first on threatening, then on peri.

In one peri game we faced Calpernia and while the others fought the Vints, I took care of Calpi. Her barrier was annoying, but at the same time, she never really budged my guard. And after I released some bees and alineinabook burned Calpernia's barrier away with WoF she was history. 

 

Then I went on a shopping spree and bought stuff for 23k.

 

Had to salvage everything except:

 

- blue Amulet of Strength

- Superb Lightning Rune

- Punched by the Maker.
