Proto, to me that sounds like a pretty fun/interesting night. Hopefully you like stuff like that as well. Sometimes I find players would take this view of it:

- I had to carry all of these guys, that sucked.

Where as I look at it like this:

- I had an incredibly challenging couple of runs, some success some failure but it was thrilling

After my last three nights, I'd say this is about right for the state of PC Perilous pugging too. I don't mind it (honestly glad to see there's that much interest in this game from newer players), but it's funny to read these forums during the day and then see what the rest of the playerbase is going through when I play at night. I sometimes forget we only interact with a fraction of a fraction of the playerbase here.

True that. It felt like I was playing back in February. Each match was a gauntlet. That first victory did feel especially satisfying, pretty much on par with the satisfaction from my last HB victory.

I don't end up pulling it out of the fire solo wise that often but have a couple this past week, one with an elementalist which was not all that bad because I find him very survivable against odds, and once with a keeper which was much tougher and took much longer but in which I had to play my arse off to not fail.

Tip of the hat to you -- last man standing as keeper is a tough one.

Aha, is that the old AW with no arms and his staff being thrust between his legs in a most indelicate fashion?  I had a game like that yesterday as well with the AW.

Oh have to mention something I have had in only one game ever before.  That is the case of the enemy assassin buzz saw. this time it was the venataori but the 1st time way back when was a red tramper shadow.  This guy (vent assassin) last night on the last wave had zero cool down, as in for a good minute straight he was in the buzz saw I'm going to carve you up mode.  He became a high priority target very quickly.

Belinda is awesome, that is all.

Okay, not from a PUG, but I went on a shopping spree and goooot~

Greatsword of the Dragon, Lvl 24 from a chest :D + a new armor for my Necro from the same chest :D

Very nice. I played a few late night games last night, got something interesting from a perilous dragon, well it looks promising.

I got two skulls cause either I went down due to a fire mine or cause I wasn't a mage.

I won at the perilous pug lottery tonight. Ended in a lobby with Leynaline, Shannensomething and CLHMetz. It made for some uneventful lagfree games. I ll take that any day, thank you.

Was it that time, when RTC bugged out at wave 5 and I did a host migration to make sure at least the others can get xp from the run?

If yes, for sure I was impressed that the one who instant took my spot after the migration was kicked by all of you so I could still get back (even if I spawned inside the wall) through shannen chat window :D

Since that was something I never experienced before but eternal grateful for it :D

That was some nice pug games there - we both enjoyed it with shannen!

This is beautiful and was initially even more amazing because my brain screwed up and read that person's name as PrivateParts.  It reminds me of what a friend and I caught a hyena doing to a bush in a game last night... we almost felt bad interrupting him but we really needed to move on to the next zone (sorry bro).

Last night I decided to play one more game before bed so Banxey and I created a NM dragon lobby as a Silent Sister duo and got started while we waited for pugs.  Later, we were joined by a level 1 Keeper and a... 13 or 14 katari iirc who ended up in the Fade and probably wish Banxey and I had thought to focus fire targets a little earlier  It was long, drawn out, and not exactly xp efficient but it was fun :P  I hope one of the pugs got a Hakkon weapon for all that effort because I sure didn't!

Lol! I was really off my game today... got slapped around in Perilous matches more today than in the last week or two combined.

Oddly enough, the Perilous Darkspawn match turned out to be the easiest of the runs...

(though we had 2 SS for that one...)

However... *finally* got my CD amulet. :)

(... and Punched by the Maker in the same chest!)

Some fun stuff from pugging today:

- I was bored of soloing with my Lvl 8 Reaver (to get my Greatsword kills challenge) so I went into Threatening and ended in a lobby with an Avvar, a newbie Reaver and an AW all on Lvl 13. We end up in Tevinter and get Darkspawn.

Yay~  :wizard:

It goes well, until Zone 4, where the other Reaver's the first to fall (bad idea to run towards the enemies when everyone else is opening doors, especially when the Reaver already died twice ) We see the Reaver go down and run to help, but too late and the Reaver bleeds out. The lyrium machine gun guys then shoot/kill the Avvar and AW, I tried to rezz them, but they die again before they're on their feet. Okay... That was the moment where I said to myself Now you'll get to know me and pretty much worked my way through the machine gun guys etc with Mighty Strike, Earthshaking Strike and a little Devour when Tamar got thirsty. Soon the Zone is clear and I go to the door to rezz the others. I get the last pot and we go to Zone 5.

There it's pretty much Zone 4 again. We fight for some time, soon the other Reaver goes down and the Avvar & the AW follow and I work myself through the horde of Darkspawn until only the Emissary Alpha is left.
It goes pretty well, until I have him to 3-4% down. I didn't have any potions, or healing mist left and my Devour was on cooldown, so I just try to hit him as hard as I can, but his Spirit ray attack was too much for Tamar and Game Over.  -_-

- Some time later Gya (Alchemist), kaileena_sand (Archer), I (AW) and a PUG (I think another archer) go Peri/Random and end in FC/Frost Dragon/Darkspawn. We work ourselves nicely through the Castle and I only go down once on the Bridge in Zone 3. (stupid Genlock Alphas  <_< ) There Gya uses a DC and as soon as he realized what he just did, he posts in the chatroom, that he just wasted a call, because we're gonna wipe in Zone 4. My reaction was just: Think positive, we're gonna win.  :D

In Zone 4 we run to the "room of shame" (was that the name?  ) and camp there a little. The dwarves try to overrun us, but we fight back with Leaping Shot, Ele Mines and Chain Lighning/Stone Fist/Spirit Blade. It was pretty much a firework in the room and looked awesome. Didn't take that long and every enemy was dead and we could face the Dragon, who had no chance against us.  B)

Nice find Hrungr. Oh and Jer this is now a "What did you get in the store lately?" thread

:P

Trying to level up some characters before the weekend challenge so I chanced my arm bringing in low level characters to some perilous games. It didn't go as bad as I thought it would, all successful except 2. I'm also one game away from finishing off my first perilous dragon challenge (yay), the frost one. I'm slow k, I put all of em off for a long ass time.

And finally I think late night gaming agrees with me because this happened...

Playing in PS4 has been never better for my teabagging career! Last night a friend and I opened our lobby to public to get some characters ready for NM runs. We have Level 1's in Perilous FC random dragons, people came in gave me red skulls at levels 15 to 20, died multiple times allowing me to teabagged them (I always give them one) all night long. Some even rage quit on Zone 4! If you red skulled a level 1 and he carries the run and teabag you, how would you react? LOL

Venatori mook >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> my level 17 Reaver with huge promotes, magic gear hanging off every appendage and a bad attitude.

Just set a new record for most dragon rage attacks blocked by mookie mcmook that being 20.

You know, I am still thoroughly surprised that we didn't wipe! The archer is just a paper tissue against the bolters and those shadows (and the other guys that stun you). It helps that you both critted enough for my Leaping Shot to have almost 0 cooldown. Since Archer is an aggro magnet, all the shadows were trying to get to me, but I was like nope brah, LS, nope, LS, nope, LS, nope, LS.

I was also highly motivated not to die because I know Gya was just waiting to serve me some delicious tea... Denied!  B)
