You know, I am still thoroughly surprised that we didn't wipe! The archer is just a paper tissue against the bolters and those shadows (and the other guys that stun you). It helps that you both critted enough for my Leaping Shot to have almost 0 cooldown. Since Archer is an aggro magnet, all the shadows were trying to get to me, but I was like nope brah, LS, nope, LS, nope, LS, nope, LS.

 

I was also highly motivated not to die because I know Gya was just waiting to serve me some delicious tea... Denied! 

 

I'm more surprised I didn't die once in that other Peri run Yeah, the Archer is really squishy against DS.

I'm always happy to keep aggro away from you CL is a great aggro magnet and also gives barrier on AW, so it was pretty much: I use CL - DS swarm me - I get barrier/everyone dies from CL - I get health from HoK

Joined a peri storm dragon match with just a low-mid level archer as the host. I was a level 19 templar so I thought we'd do ok, especially once another 2 people joined. But the two who join are both level 1 mages and they proceed to be completely useless, going down over and over again early. It might not have been so bad except my templar was specced with mostly support stuff and I ended up with no one to support and buffed enemies, arg. I went down last to three despair demons... and am now thinking about fitting combat roll into my next spec.

 

Anyway I was kinda mad at those two level 1s. I really like storm dragon games and it's rare to find a pug one going on. Ah well :\ Ran into one of them in a seperate perilous match right after that one. They got 8 levels from that fc game but still went down three times in wave 5... I guess that's not bad for a lower level character?

 

On a happier note: I got a hakkon weapon (the staff) yaaay

Meh, just had a great NM pug that I had to leave in the middle. I am sorry guys but there was some weird bug (I think lag?) and when I cast barrier on top of myself (was ele) it just wasn't registering. I wasn't moving, wasn't on stairs, just barrier didn't seem to want to activate. Was just going to be a drag in the match so I decided to leave for someone else to take my place. This game and its weird lag related bugs.

Accidental. Thought I had set the lobby to private so I could quickly solo and get the weekend challenge done. Much to my surprise I was joined shortly after starting FC by three other people. One of them was the Keeper I ran into the other day. Sailed through it. Too tired to play another match. Sorry, Nythrius. Forgot I was still sitting on lobby when you dropped in.

There Gya uses a DC and as soon as he realized what he just did, he posts in the chatroom, that he just wasted a call, because we're gonna wipe in Zone 4. My reaction was just: Think positive, we're gonna win.

There seem to be a lot of people leaching lately. Yesterday Ispan and I were joined on Peri by a level 1 Lego with crap gear. It's usually doesn't bother me because it's not likely to cause us to wipe, and I like the extra challenge. But later the same PuG dropped into another game with a level 1 Virtuoso and proceeded to do nothing but die and hide. They left after both games, likely heading off to NM to doom some poor PuG team to failure. I would have kicked them the second time but two votes aren't enough. 

 

We also had a NM game with a duelist.. and if he reads these forums I want to apologise to Macho. You were right, we should have kicked her. I don't like kicking people without giving them a shot. But lately it doesn't seem to be paying off.

Yeah if you read here Macho I was putting in skill points when the kick vote went up. Sorry I didn't realize what was going on sooner or I would've kicked them so we could have another smooth run together. You're a kickass necro btw

So met some people today and 2 of them and I, along with whatever random person dropped in from time to time, were doing endless dragon runs this morning on perilous trying to fill out our lvl 26 weapon collection (unsuccessfully).  I am on my lvl 17 archer and we are in between runs.  I needed to take a break so I head to the bathroom.  I come back and click ready and we head out.  What I didn't notice was that they changed it to Nightmare while I was away.  I figured this out after the first pull when I used longshot and aggroed everything because it hit the mob I was aiming for then went up and hit someone on the bridge above us.  So I gimped along trying to keep myself alive wishing I had fallback plan or evade and avoiding temptation to hit Longshot.  Died a few times along the way but managed to stay out of the fade on zone 4 with darkspawn. Felt a little less useless pulling off a mark of death for almost 90k.  For my troubles I got the Hakkon Honor long sword.  All in all a good run.

Unexciting, except for the last match. Butt Demon kicked our asses. Made sure to Fade out in a compromising position on Izzy.

I blame DragonRacer for all the demons I pulled though.

Almost definitely my fault. I think there's some sort of demon disease and it's likely contagious.

Played 3 Peri games this evening, oh the humanity.   Welp 2/3 extractions ain't so bad, they do make me feel scrubby, well, scrubby-er.

Reading the past 2-3 pages surprised that not only me who encounter low or even basic geared l1 on peri leeching lobbies. 

 

So far my "favourite" pug was on a NM fc run with my friend shannen and turned out that we kind of duod almost the whole run. We got people here and there who bled out, left the game since we had no dps and our kill even if we survived took quite some time (especially at dragon) when an amazing level 1 Avvar just rambod into with basic gear, charge at a dragonling, die by its brief breath. 

I usually not the one like kicking people but this one was really calling for that kick. 

 

It was a slow and tough one where both me and shannen contributed our best to nail it then someone comes with a l1 at end game to take credit is just no. Even if I don't mind less promoted/geared/levelled players in our public runs (that is why it is public) and gladly support them (revive/barrier/open doors for them/assist if they in need/damage mob to low health let them kill for hok) but there is a limit I am afraid I cant tolerate if it is crossed.

I have noticed a bunch of them too. Either low levels with no armor upgrades or lvl 20 with the same armor in perilous thinking that they can survive because they are lvl 20 even though they have 0 promotions and the starter armor.  Starting to wish that only a majority is needed to kick someone.  If 2 of the other 3 players want you gone that should be enough to kick someone.

Did you recognize me?  I don't understand why the host had to spam OVER HERE in front of the treasure rooms while you were lighting the veilfire thingy surrounded by 32748748 demons.

Ugh, the stupid thing is, I was trying NOT to attack the dumb pride demon at all because I just finished the weekend challenge and it was soooooo grindy in my PUGS so I just wanted to make sure one of you gets the kill because... this challenge sucked...

Yup. I've 25 down already, I'll get back to it later. Funnily enough bumped into a player in one game where he/she saved a vint kill for me. That was surprisingly kind, might go back through my players met list and friend that person.

 

My last pug game was super easy as I bumped into a pal, 4 quick Perilous games. So close to my 250 Peri banner.

Been chaining threatening with all my characters (level 1) to bring them up to 7-8 to be able to do perilous.

 

Game 1: get in a lobby, instantly get a skull. Both leave, i proceed to solo wave 1 and 2 on FC till someone joins. I also get a skull from one of the guys who joined my match. Extract with no deaths against RT.

Game 2:  before game 2 starts, i get 3 skulls from the same group ( kicked). Find a new lobby, proceed to autoattack my way through the whole FC with my reaver. Top of the leaderboard, still get 2 skulls mid game. 2 of them leave

Game 3: Join with katari, also level 1, in a lobby with 16+ players. Again, get 1 skull the moment i joined (they were on wave 4). Revived all 3 of them as i was the last man standing. Solo'd wave 5 Darkspawn FC, as all 3 of them went down within 30 seconds of planting the flag.

 

Is there a influx of new people? I'm glad they are joining DAIMP, but the kicking spree is ridiculous. If they have difficulty staying alive on threatening, doesn't mean I have the same issues lol.

I don't get it. Not you, them. Those new people. I understand if, in a middle of the match it turned out you're a leecher (I'm not saying you do), then I would understand those kick votes. But in a lobby? Or when it turned out you could hande it? I'll never understand that.

 

Either way... Since SS is pretty much untouchable on threatening, I decided to give perilous a try. I landed in FC. Whoops. My first perilous dragon fight. First two matches I think I did good (by good I mean I didn't die and dealt some damage), even though my daggers suck. Then 3rd game came...

Ended up in the Fade two times... and then at the end dragon decided to glitch. Well, but at least it was interesting (for me, dunno about my party members).

Sorry for dying, I'm still learning.

So I guess I hit the use button too soon or too quickly and missed the font heading to the zone 5 door? Thought I got it, but when I got to the flag and looked back, someone's hp bar was flashing red. Then seconds later someone mics up cussing me out, and asking why would you do that, and I'm sitting there quietly thinking to myself, uh why would I do what? I'm not sure what even happened? Did you quietly run back to facecheck a revenant at a chest or something? Is that why you're flashing red? I don't know? Calm down dude?

 

But, since they started off right away on such a rude note, I just didn't say anything and bailed at the flag taking whatever chunk of XP I earned away. Sorry to the other two people on the team though.

I bet that bug where you lose health at the zone transition occurred. Ever since that random route change with the animation of the camera swooping through the doors it's almost like somebody doesn't get placed correctly and takes massive fall damage as the game displaces them crazily. Sucks you got blamed for it.

Ugh... darkspawn are such a steep difficulty jump on Perilous compared to the others.

Jumped into the middle of a match with Bolters and Earthshakers and my 14th lvl Reaver was slaughtered.

I'm back! I've been away in another city during the summer, so no multiplayer for me since June. I've also stayed out of the forums, so of course I jumped straight into a PUG when I got back home to see what has changed. A rogue with guard? New difficulties? DARKSPAWN ENEMIES? I was screaming with joy when they turned me into a blue, glowing pincushion. (Not that my silent sister seemed to mind. She's tougher than a pair of boots O_o)
