Took a Fade Nap as a lvl19 Nerco in a P-Pug just now, the lone dreamer of a team which otherwise was "... all outta bubblegum". Sure she is squishy, but I think the bigger issue was me. The build; Flashfire+Pain, Ice Mine+Armor, Horror+Spirit, Fade Cloak+Spirit with the first 7 passives of Gravelord and the four passives that make a 'cross-shape' in Permafrost. Usually I can stay alive and contribute by standing on the mine and popping Fade Cloak in an ER close quarters defense, but this match was like I forgot how to move my target cursor. Miss! Miss! Miss! Maybe my controller has been drinking.

There were no pug lobbies here on US east coast at the time, so I switched over to a german IP and found a NM FC run. Load in, and lol, hey it's been a while since we went for a nice polar swim. Haven't had this happen in months. The katari (at least i think it was the katari) had nicely timed commentary.

 

 

Found my way to shore and from there, it was a good easy run. Connection was impressively lag-free for transatlantic. I of course don't understand german at all but the whole time it sounded like they were just having a pleasant chat about whatever.

I was pugging away  dropped in on a NM run  YAY!     there is guy with a lvl1 reaver    what ever we start off  and everything is ok  

3rd round and the three demons I am working on  split and start running away at top speed  so I say someone is not moving at the door the guy says "yeah whats the deal? if I am go with you guys I die so what the f&^% do you care" 

I replied that I sincerely apologize if I offended while I carried him but it was just a comment because the guys I was fighting I had to chase down to stop them from getting to you

we finished and I split 

I work with rude peeps all day long this is how I unwind and I can be the biggest @$$ around  I wish people would be decent first not after you do something for them

In my only Nightmare experience I was carried as lvl10 Keeper and while I stayed back I didn't sit in the door because I could contribute with long range spells. One of the contributions was popping barrier on a Reaver. Thankfully no one in that group was assy. Good people.

Nothing worse than being in a Pug of asses, however. Ugh.

This morning was a good Pug, got some good salvage from the runs and bought a chest that dropped a lvl23 (I think) Skywatcher's Cleaver. Sweet!

Joined a nightmare pug, three players with Pai-Mei's Five-Point Palm Avatars... all playing Virtuso... Two skulls pop up immediately on me...mabye because I was a Silent Sister instead of a Virtuso?  Manage to plug in my mic and say "Whelp, good luck guys" before being booted.  Be interested to see if a four man Virtuso video pops up.

I was on threatening, as a level 13ish Reaver and joined a pug.

 

There was a low level legionnaire and two other reavers.

 

For some reason, two vote to kick skulls popped up on my name.  I left before the third one hit, but I'm not sure what that was about.

 

If they were really that concerned about treasure doors, maybe they shouldn't all have been running warrior?

 

And it was threatening, not like they needed class diversity to beat it.

I usually assume there is some stupidity and rudeness involved in these situations. Maybe I just expect the worst in people.

If they were on the FC map then you want to be booted.  Playing with 2 let alone 3 zithers on that map is like playing chess.

recently got the Power Chord ring for the Viruoso.  Wow, watch out enemy units...

Seen a rash of people who seem to think that is an I Win button.  They just run around spamming power chord and usually end up in the fade by room 2.

Second run to 20/promote with the Virtuoso, trying to give each character at least two playthrus to feel them out. At teens I jump into Ps. A player named Imbued[full name redacted] is just awesome. I'm feeling like I hate the Virtuoso but Imbued rocks him like I've never seen. Not just him however, any class I watched him play from the Fade. I suck at Virtuoso. I checked out some guides, got better at him, but goodness I bow to Imbued's skillz... yes, with a Z for Zither.

I think after my quest for "Second Chances" with each character I will then just stick to Belinda, Pala and Cillian.

I hear ya.  I usually use cool beast, but I saw a player destroy with PC so I figured wtf gonna use it too.

Saarebas everywhere. It's like Disneylands closing fireworks starring Maleficent. Quite a light show. Also noticed Pala doing her best mage impression.

Playing a Hunter, started running in Ps at teens. Lag is crazy, but managable although worse in 3/5 FC for some reason. I go down three times in 3/5, nearest rogue revives me. Don't die again that match. Using fallback and stealth I get in a groove of killing enemies on the verge of dropping teammates. An enemy assassin assassin. We clear.

Match two host Saarebas goes down in 3/5. I revive. Assassin goes down. I revive. Assasin goes down. I revive but I get caught and go down. Assassin revives me, instant dragon breath death for me. Host revives. A couple waves in I use fallback to halt a death a bit too late. Fallback to death.

I take a moment to go to the bathroom while in the fade, touchpad press. There is a kick on me. Annoying, but whatever. 4/5 Starts. Host goes down. I revive. We clear. 5/5 I curiously check the touchpad, kick still there. Again we clear.

Both matches I placed 3rd. Saarebas host 1st. Pala 2nd. And different player 4th both times. New match lobby. Kick vote up and then host leaves. Room disbands.

Ah well, moved on but I hope Kick Voter finds a flawless team of happiness.

I try not to take it personally.  I got a vote kick after dying 1 time and going to the fade on room 4 of FC thanks to too many archers feeling great affection for me.  I crawled over to a Hunter who was hiding, breaking LoS who ignored me and ran out in the open and ended up getting killed himself.  Funny thing is, every other person in the group died at least once before me but I revived them all yet I was the one that got the red skull.  I just chalk it up to stupid and leave the group when the match is over.

Fairly easy until zone 4 then utter chaos with the bolters lol.  Hell of a lot of fun.

 

With the other 3 dead I ended up standing on the little platform just to finish off the last 2 assassins.

 

Dragon was easy.

 

41min .... what a run .... although not very exp/hour smart, it was good to know we could do it.

You know, I also noticed that I got a bit more XP than usual today compared the last few weeks today but I just dismissed it as some kind of perception bias. Wonder if they ninja changed something again. They are as good at announcing changed stuff as pigs are at continuous flying. I basically learn most balance changes from what Wavebend posts rather than BW...

Had an interesting experience in a PuG. I was near death and facing an enemy smelling my blood. A nice guy playing a Katari blocked him and waited for me to kill him to get my heal on kill. Never saw such a nice action. Very cool

I do my best to leave things like that, but it's hard to see sometimes in a heated battle. The duelist marks are really easy to notice however and I know how annoying it is as a duelist to not get that mark, sometimes one mark can change the tide.
