Yeah, starting off is rough, but you'll ramp up soon enough!

And RNG for cotton has gotten slightly better these days (still miserly as hell though...).

Just finished off promoting the Pala, smacking around a Peri Fire Dragon who gave up... impressively sad gear really. But I had a lil' change in pocket, so I went to the store - SalvageSalvageSalvageSaaaalvvvaaawaitaminute, whaaa?

No, really! Personally, I feel like it's the only item I'm missing right now. That, and I tell myself I can go nightmare for real. But I also know that I'm kind of lying to myself since I have the blue variant, and 5% doesn't make that much difference. So in reality, it's just promotions I'm lacking.

I have the Blue as well, in my experience it's better than nothing. LOL

I then stack, if that works I guess, the Blue with whatever healing mod I can. eg. Korbin has HoK on the Bitter Axe, Heal %Damage on the Shield of the Emperor, Purple Constitution amulet, Purple health belt, Constitution armor mod and Heal Bonus Armor mod. Everything working together is like a mini heal potion being used every 20 seconds (solo) or every time I can score a kill on a team (more difficult, but easier with the Bitter Axe).

Joined a threatening on my AW as lvl 1.  Well over 100 willpower, heart of pride and storm pact belt. Only on threatening due to no barrier and would get killed in 1 shot on perilous. A lvl 19 Reaver before we queued up was complaining about having to carry a lvl 1 character.  Made it a point to target and kill whatever he was going after before he could get to it.  He ended up with 8 kills. I thanked him for carrying me along. Good times.

Btw ... the universal rings not related to an ability like +heal on kill rings stack. You can wear 2 Heal on kill rings no matter if those are 2 blue 2 purple or any combination and yes it stacks with other heal on kill sources.

had a NM match with Itran in which his archer got ice mined by despair demon like 20 times with him taking scratch damage the whole time, then a couple perilous with two guys called buttcommandchief and creepyshow(some number), who proceeded to talk about naruto, dbz and a bunch of old kid shows the entire time,  we had gotten druffy and one of them kept thinking i was throwing bees and that they were damaging him, and the other kept trying to talk in a little girls voice for whatever reason

Had a lightning quick and super smooth run to 20 with Cillian and P-Pugs FC today. Then jumped to Pala in a T-Pug FC which was suddenly bug city. No guard, revive Xs not showing on teammates and then at the end while XP/gold was given out no calculation of kills was displayed for my Pala. I know I racked up 17 straight and then multiples below 10 because my HoK ring was the only thing keeping my lvl 1 Pala alive. Ugh.

Finally getting the hang of Baadaass™ after doing some "easy" threatening runs and moving on to perilous much later than usual (and failing utterly a few times). She can be really awesome, but if you fail keeping the cycles right the fade is just around the corner.

Had full party, one randy stayed in stealth whole game near start of door every zone. Red skulls commenced to lining up....

Opened a Public Perilous FC lobby and figured could quickly grind out some gold for the challenge.  It filled up quickly....looked promising

I noticed the level range description has now been removed from the lobby, which is a good thing.  

 

I welcome all the new people (GOTY players?)    Please play on a comfortable level.  It cannot have been fun to sit there dead for almost all the 15minutes...

And then you get the same kind of people, with tier 1 armor, come into Nightmare FC. Happened twice today, back to back. Soloing wave 4 demons is really not fun with AW.

 

I don't know if I should blame the ''**** it, I'll get carried'' mentality or the option to select random difficulties on quick match (who thought that was a good idea anyway, in ME3 too).

The 60 or so 'friends' I have on PS4, when they are playing DAMP, tend to be in private matches.  

 

That probably explains a lot about it being hard to find a public match.

Played a couple games last night. I had only played two games in the past week.

 

Was able to join a few Perilous matches. No one talked and they were pretty boring. Perilous is no fun for me anymore.

 

Good takeaway: At least there are lobbies.

Bad takaway: 0 Public NM lobbies. I tried to join random/NM about 10x to no avail. 

 

Snakebite and I duo'd a few in Tevinter and decided to call it a night. We were rusty. First game Bolters caused us to wipe during the Torch event. I was on my level 9 Virt and ran the torch straight to the fire. I got it there no problem, but was promptly shotgunned on my but and pelted. I couldn't decide whether to use rock armor or a healing pot at first and that split second delay caused me to faceplant.

 

Snakebite, being the scrub that he is, was soloing a treasure door and wasn't gonna get to me even if he tried...at least no teabags. Well, he didn't have any rock armor and was being pretty cocky since he has this new GS(Avvar) that does amazing damage. He had finished off pretty much everything but was super low on health. Two bolters spawned in and sniped him before he get off a healing potion.

 

Next two games were smooth sailing. Qunari and Red Tramplers. Lobby was set to public for all three. No PUGS joined.

Thanks man!  That means to much to me.  I probably would have helped you get the torch to the end if you hadn't made a huge fuss about missing the last door.  Oh, and drinking health potions should totally override other actions.  Stupid Crushing Leap and Korth's Might. 

 

And why are you writing about this in the PUG thread when there were no PUGs?

I was looking for public matches, got in a lobby with only the host being there. You know the thing when for some reason all the host's info doesn't load? Like, you see their name but not their portrait/banner/title/the class they're playing? I had this, the host went to ready as soon as I joined, so did I. Turns out we're both playing Thornton. One minute later two Archers join. Idk, the whole match was kinda awkward. (Qunari faction) In zone 5 everyone of them is dead after a few seconds and my level 7 Thornton of course couldn't revive them all. Blergh.

This game can be such a pita.  I have probably my  best game as a lego ever, decent team but we are playing the horned devils.  Had about 6 rez's, lead the scoreboard and was just on top of my game.  Get back to the lobby.
