Since I've been maining the SS for weeks now working on reaching 200 cunning I've not been able to hit the 'over here' button even if I wanted to. Ran one game last night as a duelist, oh man, felt good to spam 'over here'.

Don't knock it till you haven't done it for weeks :)

We go in, against Demons, AW just rushes forward, not caring about anyone else.

Hunter goes down.

I rezz.

Saarebas goes down I try to rezz, Hunter goes down again too, but I die myself while still rezzing the Saarebas.

AW does not care at all and gets himself killed.

You know, if you hadn't mentioned the Saarebas and the Silent Sister, I could have mistaken this as a post from last November.

I am dreading when you get 200 cunning and start doing that 'over here' crap just outside the zone 5 circle again :P

hahah that was only, as you are fully aware, in retaliation for when the puggies take it upon themselves to direct me into the circle.

besides, it did give rise to:

a ) The time when we all exited the circle in response to my 'over here', even the puggie!

b ) That time I managed to silently convey 'over here' and you and Lef exited the circle, apparently confusing the hell out of the pug.

These good times brought to you by 'Over Here'

Only had time for a few games tonight and decided to try Baadass™ in a purely supporting role. Not as fun as being damage dealer, and my firm place at the bottom of the lists kind of confirmed that I probably won't do that again (although I'm not that fixed at topping the lists as long as the group does well - which it did).

Having gold for just a few chests, I still couldn't restrain myself. And boy was I rewarded, right in the first chest: The One Ring! :D. My life is complete (except for almost all Hakkons and most lvl 27s ;)).

I had a couple of really smooth nightmare games and than a couple of games with someone spamming F1.  I though F4 was annoying but at least the people stop when you open the door; this was constant and nails-on-chalkboard irritating.

Being not of the Master Race, I do not know what F1 does. I would love to laugh at this anecdote, but find it instead confusing. Please keep us lesser beings in mind, won't you?

F1 = Kill this target

F2 = Retreat

F3 = Thank you

F4 = Over here

Ran into Penius Maximus. His Saarebas went down a couple of times, but with great concentration, we were able to get him up again. He switched to templar, and stayed up for the whole match. Good stamina, that guy.

What Drasca said above.  Every minute it was "I need help with this one" or "Target this one" or the like.  They were playing Necro, so it was extra annoying.

Amazingly enough have had about three groups in a row that actually are at least a wee bit cautious when we face bolters.  Very refreshing.

Had a game last night in which I was VERY glad to see Martin Sparks join with a Sara bad ass.  Our group had one foot in the grave and was about to take on wave 4 FC.  I don't think Martin posts much on bsn but he's a really good player.  When he and Proto and Snakebite are in the group it's usually an easy and fun game.

Martin doesn't visit BSN.  I'm guessing he was using his electrical build.

Another reason to think Martin is smart, doesn't visit this den of sin.  Yeah I think he was using his zapper build.  Wave 4 even with Martin was not easy and we did not face the dragon so last wave was tough as well becasue the two other dudes went down and I was playing a keeper.

Last pugs were some great NM dragons with Yagoon and PaulPanzer. Not sure if they are BSNers, but great games guys, you're very solid players.

The NM dragon on the other hand is a b*tch. Still doesn't want give me my Hakkon.  :angry:

Went from very nice NM and HB private games, to terrible pugs.  One match the guy ninja nerfed to routine cause of my level 1 toon.  Another match guy got peeved about the AW pulling him from the treasure room.  Course I get blamed and then he goes off over the mic.  I in my ticked off mood used choice words to convey my displeasure.  End result we wipe to bolters and AWs standing out in the open.  Beginning to wonder why I pug at all.

I swear some of you have the worst pug luck ever. This could be a console thing. On PC, I tend to run into the same folks all the time. They are great to run with. Weekends change things up a bit, but I think over my entire DAIMP 'career,' I've had 2 games where someone was 'hostile.' Once me and another pugger joined a game where the other two apparently were friends. After the match, we both readied up again then the leader told us to leave to make room for their other friends...after we both carried them. They both red skulled us, and we did the same to them. After a lengthy stalemate, they finally left. It was a pub game after all... :D

Speaking Red Skulls and PUG matches, the day before yesterday was classic. I had created a lobby open to the public. My intent was to cycle in some level 1's . Wanted to use characters still not @ 250. I just pick and go. If people join fine by me. I cycled through 4 of 5 characters and those that stayed in the lobby got what"I" was doing. Until the 5th character. The Sarrebas. 1st run no prob. Before the 2nd run I go and put my points in. I'm messing with abilities on her lately so I took maybe 30 seconds more than usual to do this. When I went to ready up I had been Skulled. Really?. Half way thru the run, all 4 of us had Skulls.

I quit my own lobby and made a fresh one. What a waste energy.

I tend to stick a skull on smurf when we pug with randoms :) Now and again I've gotten him to skull the pug   :ph34r:

But generally it's just to show my dissatisfaction with his slow ass, points assigning, store chest buying self!

But naw, not really, it is funny though.

I agree (also on PC), the "worst" behavior I tend to run into are purple who skip treasure rooms, or those who run ahead with no care for the group at all. (Mind you, if I join someone who's soloing but has left the session open I don't mind them doing any of these; I join on their terms.) All in all, quite easy to cope with.

On a completely different matter: Isanutoll + Bitter Axe makes the Templar even more fun. More naivety / cheerfulness :).

I started a nm OC solo on my level 10 Saarebas and a Katari and AW joined shortly after.  The katari went into the Fade in zone 3 or 4 but the AW and I got through anyway, until zone 5 when I hit skills in the wrong stances once or twice and die to terror stunlocks.  He's got his hands full kicking ass so I'm currently watching him solo from the Fade.  I am so sorry, AW.  Also embarrassed.  So embarrassed D:

Started some public Nightmare runs solo because quick match can't find anything.

Fist game:
An Arcane Warrior joins me at the end of zone one. We run through the next zone or two pretty smoothly, then get joined by a level 19 Assassin. The Assassin seems to be doing all right, other than the fact that they keep spamming "Over here!" at every door. At the start of zone 5 everything quickly goes downhill. The Arcane Warrior dies in the first 30 seconds. I would go revive him, but at this point I realize why the Assassin wasn't dying in the last couple zones; they are hiding in a corner in stealth. I kite everything for a few minutes, waiting for the Assassin's stealth to run out so I can get a break from all the archers and the mage's stupid homing/staggering attacks. The Assassin never seems to come out of stealth, and I eventually get feathered by archers while simultaneously being stun-locked by mages. The Assassin finally leaves the corner to come rez me, then breaks stealth right as they are walking past the giant group of enemies I was kiting. Instant Death. They both leave, and I start up another game alone.

Edit: Forgot to add that even though the Assassin was in the game for two or three zone, they had no score at the end. Literally useless.

Second game:
I solo through zone 3, and as I enter zone 4 I check the player list. The player who was the Assassin in the last game jumped back in, and is joining with a level 1 Duelist. I run forward to grab everything, then I run back to the beginning of the zone where the Duelist is hiding AFK. Turns out the player wasn't AFK, and they tried to run away for a few seconds before dying. At this point, two more players join the the lobby, and I put a kick on the Duelist, hoping they would get the hint. I run ahead a little farther, kill another spawn, and when I check the player list again, everyone has one kick vote on them. I plugged in my mic and politely ask the other players to kick the Duelist. I tell them I don't mind if either of them brings in a level one (one of them was), and that I wanted them gone because of other reasons. Still no kick votes on the Duelist. The players join and run up to where I am at, at which point I just stop fighting things and let everyone die before killing the rest of the enemies. The key drops, and I sit next to the door, holding the key hostage. I send out some messages to the other players, asking to kick the Duelist. Duelist gets kicked, and we finish the game, no problem.

Third game:
I play one or two more with those two players, then leave the game and grab something to eat. Upon coming back, I still can't find a game through quick match, so I start another game solo. Halfway through zone 2, I notice that another player has joined me. It's that Duelist... again (I even blocked this person, and they still keep getting into my games!). I run back to meet them as they run through the part of the zone I already cleared. They die, and I suicide teabag them into the fade (I needed the Darkspawn kills, otherwise I would have just quit).

TL;DR - People who have 10 hours in multiplayer should stay out of Nightmare.

Played a few Perilous and Threatening matches for the Challenge.  Nothing much happened, though I did have someone complement me on my Keeper skills.   :P

I did switch over to my Reaver once I got my Keeper to 20 and dropped into a Threatening match at level 1 with a level 19 Duelist and a level 11 Arcane Warrior as well as a level 17 Assassin that dropped in mid-match.  I ended up taking the least amount of damage out of everyone (the Duelist dropped 3 times and the Arcane Warrior dropped once) and topped the scoreboard.

After that, I dropped into a lobby with a level 20 Reaver, a mid-level Hunter, and a low level Duelist.  The Duelist ended up dropping a couple times and I eventually left since the the pug playing as the level 20 Reaver never switched characters/promoted.

Already finished the Red Templar kills, so all I have left is Venatori and Demons.  Hopefully I'll be able to get a PS4 around the 13th so I can finally join the fight against the Darkspawn and Qunari, but no guarantees.   :?
