Bonus if said geniuses spent the previous game licking the floor on wave 5. If this keeps up, I'm going to start using virtuoso more frequently to play the lute over their desiccated corpses...
Yeah, especially Trespasser is awesome. I'm doing a fourth (
) playthrough now, just to re-experience it (and the other DLCs) with the "right" setup.
The person I helped was not a fan of the ending... ![]()
so Im pugging before work and a friend is in the room (nameless grrrr) they are alone
they are a lvl 7 archer
I pull up my trusty lvl 14 keeper got the static cage and chain lightning fade step barrier and belt of healing
I usually rock the storm but dont want to work that hard if I have to solo (no coffee yet)
Kinari run we do ok hard to chase an archer to give barrier so I figure they dont want it
they do need it by round 4 its tough to keep barrier and attack going
in 5 I get some help but I still have to raise em both 2 times but we complete
Kinari are pretty tough when your crew is facing the sidewalk
I leave and find my "friend" in solo perilous again with another lvl 7 and take my now lvl 17 roll in and find
with the first round going good we are running strong cleared the round easy
we hit round 2 I see a door and decide its too risky and move on
they die opening the room which I had passed I moved along and was prepping for the end of round 2
they are too far away and go in to fade ggrrr I start the solo grind and get joined by 2 peeps and this
"Friend" host migrates GGGRRRROOOOOOWWWLLL
man you gonna pony up for a solo pub which makes you the host
you best be ready to roll it all
ALIVE or DEAD
So I hopped in this morning for a quick run before work. I joined a lego solo whacking things with his mace. So I was thinking.. he had got to be doing his mace challenge because no sane person would want to use a mace. I only needed a few kills to finish off my Greataxe challenge, so I basically just whack each mob one time and left them to be maced if I didn't one-shot them. I think at one point there were 5 or 6 assassins with 10% hp popping in and out around us. The thing is that my Reaver got the 50% damage return.. so even if I stop hitting them.. if they hit me.. they would die if they got low health. So I had to run around and not let them hit me..
I am wondering if the Lego knew that's what I am trying to do. Or was he thinking that this stupid reaver just ran around like a headless chicken?
Well, what can I say, it's an ending of the Inquisition story (sort of) and it answers quite a few questions (but not all). I really like that they take this step, but I guess some people want to be able to go on forever? That's the only thing I can think of that could be seen as bad with it.The person I helped was not a fan of the ending...
Real shame you didn't record that, really would have liked to see that .So I hopped in this morning for a quick run before work. I joined a lego solo whacking things with his mace. Icneed wins the nice guy award.

Played a mix of solo & Pugs the last couple of days. It's the first I've DAIMPed since Fallout came out, and I was so... so rusty. But after completing the Book challenge, I finally got my PI Amulet!
Along with that, I picked up the Hakkon staff (haven't tried it yet) and the Dancer's Axe (which is a lot of fun...). So other than one of the one-handed lvl 27s and the Crescent, I believe I have all the other high-end weapons now.
Lot o' good matches this weekend, with only a couple going sideways. And DAIMP wouldn't be DAIMP without at least one trip to Narnia... ![]()

I never made a post here because I'm playing always PUGs.
Because of the 2XP weekend I wonna thanks some guys for a lot of awesome perlious and a few NM runs.
But not only for this weekend. I met them several times before and I hope I will meet them some times yet.
I'm not sure if they are here in the forum. However here are the names:
Reglan_40_Ru, SoloWulf, markmema, qubol, N7_Paolo, rustinman, pg_tipl, RealistkInkognito, sonofnothing.
My Necromancer from a match last night,

Fereldan castle Gong level, team had just cleared out the level and were going down below to get treasure, both mage doors. I open the 1st door and let my two team mates through but I wait at the door and as the Revenant appears I cast walking bomb on it. I then walk up to the other door and open it up and as i am walking to the chest I detonate WBomb and the Revy explodes. Felt like the ultimate bad ass.

That scene is from "I am Number Four" right? ![]()

It looks like you somehow made it to a counterstrike map.
Took another little side-trip out to Narnia today, but what was interesting was the enemies in the next zone ran out into Narnia after me! ![]()
But just as quickly, they ran back into their zone up an invisible ramp (which was significantly less tangible when I chased after them)...

Two pretty good games this am, pretty smooth.
Had a rage game last night. Play all the way through the match. Have to slog it out with Calpernia by myself with my lego becasue the other players were in a 'safe' room. Just a long grinding game, match successfully ends, game thinks and thinks, no score board screen, lost connection, booted to desktop, no exp, no game credit for my lego (was going to be #250 for him.)
Destination: Ferelden Castle
Difficulty: Perilous
Enemy: Venatori
Character: Duelist (lv. 14)
Team: Virtuoso (lv. 17) & Silent Sister (lv 1)
Scenario - Virtuoso tried, faded, then quit.
- 5 min coffee break
- Silent Sister (Gamertag: PervySanin) still in Lobby. "Always does that".
Knock, knock.
Who’s there?
Opportunity.
Opportunity who?
Opportunity Knocks.
Played a couple of games with the archer, plenty of opportunities, and one particular game with not so many (teammates died, self-res'd twice, than failed host migration).
First game: NM FC
Scenario: lost connection upon the end of zone 4
Second game: NM FC
Scenario: lost connection on zone 5
Third game: NM Château
Scenario: host migration failed on zone 5
Fourth game: NM Château
Scenario: soloed to zone 5 with Avvar, then came 3 pugs rushed straight into fade... And here is the funny bit: as I killed the boss and only a few random spawns left to go, I was busy typing to my friend complaining about this trolling streak from the game, no idea how but I mopped the floor... Then all 3 faders ran away straight after.
Thanks Bioware....

Yesterday, it seems there is trouble with connection every time I go to a NM match. Perilous and Threatening solid as rock. Maybe it is a new challenge for NM difficulty: Random connection lost. Lets see how you beat that with your promotions! ![]()
Also hosted a pug and a Lego showed up with Winter's Breath (the berserk shield. I remembered this simply because I always wanted to troll with this berserk shield but never got mine back after salvaging it back then) and a weird sword that I have no idea what it is.
He rushed ahead and red lined his health before popping Counterstrike. At that point I thought I ran into a Promotion Lord and he is red lining his health for added damage.
Then I changed mind straight away after seeing him fall 3 times in a row and then fade in less than a minute...
We should have a challenge called "Fade Walker"...
