Or you could just keep the bacon like me and forget about the barrier.

Might be my l2p issues but I die a lot if I play pact belt anthlok build without barrier. On the other hand, I'm perfectly fine with pact belt itwa adim build (of course no barrier either).

I guess it's because with itwa adim you don't need to close up on mobs and there is no reason to leap into the mid of a horde. You can just stand behind the tank and see everything melts before you over time. The speed glyphs can handle the assassins without any problems.

I rarely use pact belt on Seabass, I only use Athlok.

Guess you are happy enough with your damage without the belt already.  <_<

DPS Saarabas just sucks against Qunari. I carried Snackbot for a game against the Qun yesterday. He asked me to die multiple times.

Spear dudes die easily enough against athlok opener and leap closer. Shield dudes die easily enough to the leap opener and athlok closer. If you get mixed groups the explosions usually help. But, it's annoying. No doubt.

Brutes are the worst for a Seabas using Athlok. Pretty much all you have is your auto attack and flow leap. The following works best for me against those bums:

Barrier Opener, Flow Ring, Athlok Closer, auto attack till freeze finishes or barrier runs out then Barrier Opener, Flow Leap, Athlok Closer. Rinse Repeat.

Took me like 30+ minutes  :crying:

380 Willpower + auto attack works :)

Doing perilous FC with Meathooks, talking about (b*tching) about RNG then this guy screams about getting killed.  First time we ignore it, then the guy dies again and screams "WHY DO I KEEP DYING?!".  Then I hear Meathooks tell him, "Cause you suck".  Guy shut up after that

Another match on a perilous FC, couple of level 1 players were running so I thought "okay they got decent banners/protraits might be okay".  I join, then screen changes so I'm thinking okay I must have been kicked.  Everyone comes back to the lobby and the other two players leveled to 2.  So we all ready up again.... was not pretty, I ended up soloing as a 13 AW with 3 in the fade.  I was happy when they didn't ring the gong.

Soloed FC NM until zone 3 with a lvl 11 AW when a Saarebas joined.
I was having a hard time with the knockdowns and the eletric immune pride demons, but at zone 4, more 2 players joined and things started going very easy.

But at zone 5, dragon at near half HP, I lost my connection again. Went to sleep after that.

Just had a few very smooth HB pugs with Pichecucate. Too bad we didn't see any demons - always loved demon zone 5 mayhem :(

I joined an NM game, and spammed barriers for 2 whole rounds. Then I promoted my Saar. :D

Got kicked from a lobby due to AFK: had to capture a mouse the cat had brought in before that turned into a bloody mess. Priorities, man.

Had a few games with sonofProto yesterday (ProntoNP or whatever his her its name is), as a group we sucked hideously and paid the price for our suckitude.

I did have a wondrous end game situation on the weekend however.  Since I have no been playing spell casters I have had to resort to potion tossing on the victory flag at the end of the game.  In one game I couldn't get to the flag so from a long distance still tried to toss and antivan fire on the flag.

Initially once all players were ported to the flag I was disappointed as it looked like my potion had not made it then I look again and see the actual potion bottle spinning end over end in the air in a slow arc, and it just hit the ground in time to flash some fire before the match went to the scoreboard.

I was trucking along over the last weekend running Public threatenings as I worked on axe kills with the leggo.  I ran into some great people.  Being a female in a public I rarely mic up so I didn't talk to many of them.

So the Question - I get into a group and one guy is giving tips to the other two.  The two are shiny and new, and the guy doing the training is probably only a few weeks ahead of them but is clearly trying to sound like an expert. My question is - at what point do you guys jump into those conversations and correct the bad info or do you even bother to do it at all?

Depends on just how incorrect the info is, if it is just off by a bit then I don't bother.  If it is totally wrong then I'll mic up at times.  Most people will be okay with a correction if it is done politely.

Lol I'm yet to encounter any pug with a mic up. Well I guess it's my fault for muting people all the time once I hear random irritating music coming from the other end.

But if I do encounter something like that, I guess I would just lol it off

I don't usually speak up on game stuff unless I am with people I know, but when I hear personal stuff over the mic (usually on threatening), I will ask them if they know their mic is on.   One time this guy started conducting business on the phone with speaker phone on.   I don't know if he knew his mic was on, but I am sure the lady on the other side of the conversation didn't know she is being broadcasted to 3 other complete strangers on the net.

I usually try to politely correct them.  Usually they just ignore me and tell the newbies not to listen to me because I clearly don't know what I'm talking about.  So be it.

I did notice you were throwing grenades on the flag at the end of all of our games.  I always appreciate someone taking the time to brighten up the victory screen.  But then you left.  Did you get tired of carrying all my level ones?  :crying:

I can only imagine Beerfish was disappointed in the lack of T-bagging from Pronto

No, I had been playing alot on the last two weeks becasue I've had the flu and just needed to call it a night.

I did have a one and done game with proto yesterday as well but that is becasue my sister phoned and if she calls you may as well shut the game down  and make a pot of tea for the incoming 30 minute call.

Actually, Pronto was not in those games.  He jumped on just a few minutes after Beerfish left and was very disappointed he missed him.

I never went down in those games until the end.  Someone sneakily switched it to nightmare and my avarr who was confident he would traipsed through perilous had some problems in nightmare.  I then switched to the sure fire SS the next match and we still failed.  Was embarrassing.  We got slaughtered, at least Pronto has an excuse re promotions and lack of items.

Yeah, I got ninja'd too. Had no idea we were in NM until I got wrecked by a Bolter. I thought we would have no issues when you switched to SS and BMXReaper got up to 13 on his Virt. Nope, not so good to go. I blame that silly alchemist who decided to rambo the bridge.

My SS was at the buyild point, lvl 12 i think where I had the attacks I wanted but not the stamina passives I am used to having.  I was not getting off my endless spree of attacks.  Once I got in trouble I was surprised at just how quick it all went to hell.  A bit of hubris on my part.
