Yeah, that bothers me too, but I keep some stone armor potions around for that. Take a pot shot around to get your barrier up, then chug a potion, and that works okay.

Back in the day of old BSN and back when this version still had an Off-topic section there were a group of users who REALLY hated me. (And still do I am sure

As long as you don't leave the kick vote on. Them duos though. My games are either full by zone 2 or fill up in zone 4/5...assuming anyone joins at all.

Heh when I first started playing last year, I watched a lot of youtube tutorials on DAIMP. One of them was about saving the healing font for when you need it. I have never seen anyone go back and use it.
The only people I have seen not wanting to use the healing font are the people wearing the speed belt... but never seen anyone really upset over it.

Yea some woman really screamed at the person who did it. I would have left out of spite after she berated the crew that got her to NM FC 5/5 but since we had gone that far I stuck around just to get the XP.

What I'll never understand is the people who use the healing font right before we go into a potentially guarded treasure instead of waiting until after we open the chest. Had that happen once on zone 4 and it ended up being an Arcane Horror with a group that wasn't exactly strong enough to take out the Horror without getting significantly damaged. Went into zone 5 vs. darkspawn with half of us at around half health (I was a level 1 (forgot which class)), so my damage output wasn't what it would normally be, but the match wasn't too much trouble (it was Threatening, after all).

People who aren't familiar with clearing rooms after clearing the zone, I presume. Could be out of spite, if they don't want to backtrack, or maybe they just weren't thinking. I've done that before, after replying to a PM/group and not remembering exactly where we were up to.
It's better to split and clear rooms as you go, anyway, unless there's a good chance of dying.

Think I've only ever done this once. Everyone was dead and I was an archer with 5% health and no potions. Better to have it and not need it...

I never use the healing font when everybody is full health.
And on FC it's easy to come back and use it.
I was told that on FC zone 3, if you die anywhere near a drop off, like in the middle or the end, you just just crawl off and pop up at the starting point and use the font. I never tried it. Habit is to hit the font no matter what. As the old chinese proverb said... break the boat with an axe. When going into a battle, you cut off your retreat.. it is either win or die!
