undue stress
We'll see how I feel when I get nothing from the 100k gold I'm gonna spend tomorrow. ![]()
Just happy to get the last dwarf weapon. FC -> FC -> FC ... I look forward to playing on random for a change.
Currently in a Perilous lobby with Rhorim. Still getting used to having my Virtuoso on Perilous ![]()
Ah wondered why the name looked familiar.
So I ended up with a bunch of level 1's from Saturday marathon gaming, and I don't want to bring them to NM matches. Started to look for perilous PUG and there is none. I ended up soloing and soon some mages joined. I saw them with 4 and 5 HP bars and thought... cool.. promolords I have never seen before. Well turns out they weren't wearing pact belts.
So I ended up soloing.. and one by one they left the game... probably got bored watching my katari spinning around and killing things very very slowly. And in map 5, one guy left in the match with me and I think he had been afk for a long time... he won't come to the flag. So I started messaging everyone to see if anyone could come and join and just kick him out. Waited about 10 minutes.. no one was able to come. But luck was with me.. he finally just left.. or disconnected or something. So I proceed on killing things on map 5.. slowly.. until finally only the Ven Commander is left. Seeing that it will take me like 20 minutes to kill her.. I decided to give up and die.. As soon as I drop down.. 2 people joined.. in stealth! They proceed on trying to kill the commander.. going in and out of stealth... dying and reviving each other..... running around the place. So I sat in the fade for another 10 minutes.... before they finally join me. ![]()
From now on, I am taking my level 1 back to threatening... no more perilous solo with level 1. ![]()
Well turns out they weren't wearing pact belts.
Could be a sign of playing too much. I default to thinking pact belt when I see health like that as well...
Had two Druffy games on the weekend. The 1st one a guy friggin decides to ring the dragon gong thus no Druffy ![]()
Second game we wiped on the mage level. The team was pretty shaky to begin with all my team wiped and it was just my mid level AW but I was pretty sure I could pull it off as the worst seemed to be over with. Had one damn Qunari mage being a pain but things seemed under control with about 5 or 6 enemies left. All of a sudden I go from full barriers and health to dead, kaboom. Bastards.

Things are really complicated now. If I don't know the person, I can't tell if they have 7 or 8 bars wearing pact belt or 7 or 8 bars not wearing pact belt until a few kills in. And then you have the graphic bug... where people with 2 bars showing as 8 bars. Things were so much easier when it was 2 bars = pact belt. I am starting to get my 3rd one.. and I felt like I am giving birth to a baby. Awww... look at that cute little thing.. coochi coo.....
Two have become Three!

I don't know what it was but I had some horrible PUGs this weekend. Even on Threatening people were just awful, rude and dying on me left and right, way way out of their league. On one particular FC Darkspawn run at stage 4/5 they all die right off the bat leaving my poor Keeper to clear the level (bolters), which she does. BUT instead of waiting around for me to complete it they all left (I presume because I had to take a while to clear the level by myself.) So THEN I had to fight the Storm Dragon by myself which I just give up because I had a electricity staff and although I was wearing it down it would have taken me forever to beat it. Many, many frustrating games like this.
And about 90+% of all the matches I played were freaking Darkspawn (my least favourite) . I did have a solo Druffy run which was fun tho!
Just got couple of fun games with mrf001.
And I stole all the spiders ![]()
Don´t feel bad Autumn, I just wiped three times in row against DS. It must be something in the air, clearly.
Autumn, I hopped out of that one match because I wasn't feeling the vibe of one of the other players, giving me a red skull when I was saying I had to switch rings. It doesn't take me more than 20 seconds, and only takes a while since I have to scroll down that huge list of ability rings. The skull flagging plus them not being elite enough to clear swiftly was bothersome. I owe you some fun matches ![]()
Long time no see. Good to see a familiar name - makes me try harder to avoid looking like a prat!
I need so many spiders I don't know that I'll ever get that one done.
I joined a lobby with qubol. Played good games, some as duo more or less. We managed to die against bolters once, otherwise nice smooth runs, thank you ![]()
Oh and I was running with Urgency Belt and he got it so he was not using healing. Next zone he used healing, Then not, then he used it again and first I thought he is trolling me ^^ but I could hear him saying sorry after using it
Maybe I should plug my mic in again
anyway very cute ![]()
Yesterday my Templar ended a match at lvl 19 with 30k XP. So I decided to solo a suicidal NM run just to promote. One zone would be enough.
A routine player has joined and didn't last more than one minute. As I didn't want to finish, I really didn't care.
As I was a Templar, and the enemies demons, the match was going too easy, so I decided not to die and try to beat the Commander.
Another player joined and went AFK on zone 5. I put the red skull, but the other noob just stayed jumping near the flag and sometimes going near the AFK player and walking on circles around him.
I really didn't know who annoyed me the most.
After 5-10 minutes, he left so I could ask a friend to join and kick the AFK. He stayed and we finish the match.
The noob who didn't know how to kick joined again at the end and got the XP.
Later, with another LVL 19 near promoting, this time an Avvar, I decided to do almost the same, but on a private match not to let that all happen again.
I cleared a zone or two and decided to die. Then lcneed joined and I explained I was going to die on purpose. He stopped attacking too, but suddenly another two friends joined. One of them was a leaderborder and killed two dozen foes before reading my message. But he was also near promoting and asked to finish the match so he could promote too.
With a full team, we just killed everything fast and easily. But at the summary screen, my PC went down. I think my GPU went to the fade. Just a week before vacation.
No more gaming for a month until I fix it or buy another one.
Sorry about your GPU, but that game was one of the funniest match I have seen. When you told me you planned to die... I was thinking hey dying is my specialty.
My AW's guardian spirit was at complete red cannot see any HP...your Avvar was close to dead.. maybe 20% hp left maybe 10 more sec......then your 2 friends joined.
It took a while but the virtuoso friend got your message and die.. then I see the silent sis stopped attacking..but being in the fade I could see her HP was like 3700....and with full guard... and I knew it will take forever for her to die even if she wanted to.

Anytime I solo promote I switch to invisible online status to avoid that happening.
It's a godsend.
Why don't you just create a private match?

I'm pretty sure that I was drunk on every single occasion during which I logged in over this past weekend. Because what else do you do after you come home from the bar? Jam with your headphones and scorch some demons, that's what! I don't recall seeing anyone from this board being logged in but if I did, well, sorry. I probably died a lot. I also turned on voice chat, which if you've partied with me, you know that I am silent - in fact I have voice chat completely disabled. BUT when in Rome ... I did run into one guy who was toking between every level, and a couple people who were obviously very new (which I actually like because I like hearing them get all excited when the alchemist talks about eating mushrooms in the mountains, or you know, when they laugh because the saarath whomped down on their asses and killed them in one blow, among other things ... ahh the charm of innocent delight) Ok so anyway I was totally drunk on all occassions and I failed miserably as a player. I mean I might have like, swung my staff or something, used lightning bolt once or twice ... yeah I was definitely drunk if I was bothering with lightning bolt.

Friends can still join in if you're in a private lobby and have room.
I may have used that function to drop into a couple matches with you ![]()

Hmmm... I usually never have a private match unless its the weekend and I am trying to avoid certain groups. That being said, if someone is on my friends list then she/he is more than welcome to join even in a private match!

There is certain advantages to put on Private match and go invisible. Like when you put on Inquisition starting armor and Inquisition weapon and try to solo threatening.
It is not as easy as it sounds and you don't want your friends to hop in and see how silly you are.
