Just did a Druffy FC run, get all the way to the last few baddies on 4/5.... I am no where near anyone and I just fall over dead with full guard and health on Threatening?!? WTF? Then I can't be revived even though I hadn't died before. THEN.... at the end there is a effing Saarebas up on the wall that won't come down so the person left can't get it and has to die. TOTAL BS.  Makes me not want to play. CRAPPY BUGGY LAZY PROGRAMMING!  Hire some damn QA EA!

At least it only happens on Druffy FC now... they used to have the Saarebus on Qunari faction on every FC match.   They had to remove him because he get stuck on the tower most of the time.

Had a great eventful weekend, got about 12 promotions done between friday night and this morning. Highlights were: Running NM FC's with Smurf, Nathanael, and # 2LB can only remember Tery... how much better does it get than to not only play with all LB, but yet even have a significant impact on the speed of each run if you are running support?

 

Ran my first 2 Heartbreaker matches, and it wasn't really what I thought it was. We called the dragon both times, but zones 1 through 4 we basically had one LB guy and another strong player walk me and another player who is around 30ish for each stat through. I played Saarebas, and he died. But w/e, it worked, and 20 prestige points landed in that upper corner! Also found out the 'play through lvl 20 up until dragon, exit and promote, rejoin and gain 16/17 levels' trick. Wow, what a quick way to get some Willpower.

 

Big thanks to all the LB people for giving a little guy like myself some use!

Are you saying the level 1 rejoin still works?

Or did you just promote, rejoin and take the other 3 guys natural exp lol

I always wonder after a tough FC run, on any level, if every has died a few times (keeping in mind we still have the final battle to do) they insist on opening the very last chest. Which of course is always bad news.

 

If it was up to me, and we had taken a beaten, why risk using your last health/life for a bit of gold or a card that is usually useless? Happened to me twice already today. Which of course left us short handed on 5/5. SMH

Rejoined through party, promote, re-enter with Saarebas who I ran the whole match with. Got to Level 16 after match. Someone brought up something that didn't occur to me, and I did ask if it was ok to do this method, no one said anything at the time. If I exit out with Saarebas, promote, and come back in with Saarebas, do the other 3 players still get the additional barrier experience? Seemed like it worked, and if I still got my barrier experience(lvl 16 with just the dragon and a couple dragonlings), doesn't this mean I also retained my barrier experience?

If you got level 16 with a dragon fight it appears you retained everything.  Normally you need to fight the commander to get 16.

I think it depends on the other 3 guys.  I have seen many matches with commander FC goes from 1 to 18, so 1 to 16 with dragon is certain possible.  And I think he said he was in a HB match calling dragon?  So HB match dragon is easily 16 for sure.

I thought it was the other way around where you play a 2-hander warrior and switch to a staff agent.. so your staff now has 300+ base damage?

Oh that's a fun one.  I have done that.  Having to do it every time you start a new game was a pain but it was fun for a couple of super Saarebas Athlok runs.

Ugh! Your sucking up is worse than their arrogance. Unfriended two yesterday. One "LB" and one brown noser.

Just paying respect to the people that make me running NM matches possible, doubling my experience per run. In particular, running with papa smurf, nath, and tery was excellent, even if no one else was using a mic. I don't suck up to people that don't deserve a commendation, but I'm grateful for promotion lords that are down to earth and still enjoy playing the game even with a newbie like me around! Don't get me wrong though, I'm not playing the game to try and leech from them. I most enjoy lobbies with people somewhere near my stats, as it becomes a little more tactical.

Also, two top LBs (one guy , one woman) won't even except my friend request (one because I don't use a mic and pulled to next zone before they got a gold pot (yeah really), and the other I have no idea why but he accepted a request from a mate of mine lol)  You are right about the arrogance of some.  Don't label us all the same

 

You should see the screenshot I have of abuse I took for not talking on the mic, using a healing font when I was level 1 and pulling next zone when somone missed a gold pot.

Suck up comment wasn't really fair on you.  Games were fun and Soph can hold his own.  I play for fun and detest in-game drama.  I help where I can.  Don't know Tery really as he just transferred from PS3 and prefers playing public games.
