I'm with you on play for fun, no drama. You're not likely to hear a negative comment from me in game. But when people treat others like **** and cop an attitude because someone makes a mistake or doesn't have a ton of promotions, I get irritated. Not all of us want to sit around playing the same game for two years. When new players suck up to promotion lords, it encourages their narcissistic behavior. I let it go yesterday, check forums this morning and he's still doing it. Shame him and hope he's embarrassed enough to quit cuz it's gross.
I'd rather play with a nice newb than a stuck up $%**! who one shots everything.

Had a lot of good games and teams on the weekend.  Almost no fails, if any, on a lot of perilous matches and a couple of nightmare ones.

Couldn't get a pug last night, so started my own, ended up with 3 good perilous runs.  

Usually if I end up in nightmare or HB it's from one of my promoted friends changing difficulty after I join the room and my not noticing.  I do try and help out, but often that means playing cloak and shadows with the enemies.  If I have my Saribus, then it means I stick to spamming barrier.

I got invited to a few NM matches last night.... most of them we had a barrier but a few we didn't. I was shocked I got through it. My Alchemist did really well and didn't fade even without barrier. My poor archer (was set up for offence on Perilous) was beat up pretty bad  but surprisingly only faded in 4/5. 

 

Things are looking better for my NM drops, keep getting high end purples now instead of common stuff. Hopefully will get a 27 or Hakkon soon.

I got invited to a few NM matches last night.... most of them we had a barrier but a few we didn't. I was shocked I got through it. My Alchemist did really well and didn't fade even without barrier. My poor archer (was set up for offense on Perilous) was beat up pretty bad  but surprisingly only faded in 4/5. 

 

I don't think you could set up archer for defense.    The only thing I could think of as a defensive archer is to use heartstring bow if you have it.. the 1% heal per hit means a leaping shot will heal you 12% even if you don't kill the guy.   It also means that if you die... anyone steps on your spike trap or caltrop will revive you even if it doesn't kill them.   And the huge built in HoK on the bow does not hurt either.

Got to about 536 prestige and its just a crawl.  Love it but can't see myself grinding forever for nothing.  Will likely just pop in now and then.

Yup. Too many little generals on the mic telling you the most insignificant things like it's going to make or break the run, just so they have something to say to fill the void.

Got invited to a NM match and we played a few, then the leader suggested we do a HB FC run.  WOW!!! I took my Templar and let me tell you that was so freaking intense. I was focusing so hard I gave myself a head ache! So freaking hard!  I won't look at the other levels the same again! Holy Merde! What a ride.

 

As a side note, of the four cards we got, the highest I received was a common 13.

Thanks for being so patient with us Autumn, hadn't played all week due to my wife's funeral, and my godson had never tried perilous before.

Banker is totally easy to get. All you have to do is earn 27400 gold every day for a year.

Oh forgot to mention, Autumn thanks for not getting upset that I tend to draw the enemies down towards the treasure room on area 3 of FC.  Makes it easier to stay alive when you only have two areas to cover.

I tried to join a match with you when you were 2/4 players, went to zone into lobby, then game froze at 'downloading data' and had to reboot DA. I think if you are having trouble getting people, try to reboot your DA game and make a new lobby, might free up any glitches existing in lobby.

As in all MP games, some drama comes up here and there, even if only a short exchange of words. What makes a team and community stronger is working through the differences and getting back to having fun. We chatted it up a little yesterday and we are totally cool. And so I will say this:

 

Thank you Russ for being so overpowered, you are so amazoring, and omg, your crits are huge! Thank you for always carrying my faded characters through the match, I am in awe at your greatness! All joking aside, glad we can move forward and get back to our kickarse games!
