Just got 4th Crescent Shadow from RTC on NM

It's the best shield of the game for defense. It procs walking fortress. Paired with Hakkon sword or Valos Atredum, Lego become near immortal on NM.

 

I like magehunter for defense, as I think the WF proc on the Isatunoll does not stack with the one on the Hakkon.

Played a few Perilous runs last night with a friend to level up some level 1's. Originally it was only the two of us. Then, in the lobby, another guy joins. He's level 1 with no banner, no title, stock avatar symbol, and has T1 armor in the game. So, I'm pretty sure this guy is either completely brand new or just playing one of his first games. Needless to say, we're not betting on this guy to survive. So, we start up the game, turn the first corner, DRUFFY FACTION! This poor guy gets wiped out within seconds of each zone but sticks around to the very end which we ended up completing. In the middle of the game, another assassin joined who was also very new it seems since he also had a hard time doing damage or surviving. In case anyone was wondering, exploding nugs in zone 5 don't mix well with brand new players. Or, depending on your perspective, maybe they mix very well but I'm not going to comment further on that matter.

I blew up a brand new player with an exploding nug. His death was inevitable anyway. I am shameful of my actions.

Just carried 3 complete newbies in a NM PUG with an Avvar against demons on Tevinter Ruins. Their highest score were less then 1k. Always in the fade.

I thought my Avvar would not survive against the gang of despair demons at zone 5, but he did it.

I don't have the PI amulet and they kept knocking me out almost endlessly. But Avvar AoE abilities, are really awesome.

Had some good games with Chief Plagueis and two lower level players CP messaged me and asked to change from perilous to heart breaker which I did  (we got Vents....ugh).  I was playing about a level 7 Sara bust so I was mostly spamming shields.  We made it to about level 4 before wiping.  The two newer players who were game and put in a good effort went down, CP was a AW and was fighting the main group but two shield aholes penetrated the defenses and I had to try and take them on, which I couldn't by myself.  i simply could not keep up shields to any appreciable damage and avoid getting knocked on my ass by two guys.  First HB game I tried in a whole though so it was a good refresher course.

Yeah no kidding, I thought that even if i went down he would carry the day.  I haven't played the Sarabas to be very good at it, that is a problem as well.  Fairly fun to play but I am still experimenting with the abilities.

Tried to run a few pugs last night, but the lag was insane.  Hopefully tonight will be better, thanks to those who tried to keep us alive last night.  Jan Shay and RecurveFamily in particular.

Speaking of lag, can someone answer this for me. I heard a few people saying that if the leader of a match has a slow internet connection it will cause the entire match to lag for everyone. I find this highly suspect.  Anyone know?

PSN works that way. The party leader's internet and PS4 are your server.

It's funny how 10 years ago on PC I could play with people in Japan with no lag but today with PS4 I lag with gamers in the USA
