3 of the best characters in the game and you don't play them much ? 

Was too busy working on the more established characters that I enjoyed playing.  The Avarr is not nearly as good if you do not have the promotes and the anti knock down amulet.  I'm still trying to find a 4th power I like for the Quanri, I want another range attack for her other than the missiles.

It is nice to have push to talk on the PC.  I don't think you have that option on console right?   I am not really too chatty but I like hearing other people talk.   Some of them are quite funny.  There is this one time I was playing with HunterK, and another guy join as Templar.... he kept saying how bad Legionnaire is and he can't play Legionnaire... How do anyone play a Legionnaire and not die?  I really really wanted to say "Maybe because you are not playing a Legionnaire?" but I was strong and hold my mic.

 

 

Probably a good thing I don't have a mic. Besides both being from Inverness, Gordon Ramsay and I both have a very low tolerance for stupid people and a very large vocabulary for  swear words when someone pisses us off. If I had had a mic last night, there would still be a cloud of curse words hanging over PSN.

Getting steadily worse in here tbh. It´s challenge on its own, getting in lobby.

Been a few days since I've been able to read up over here, since I troll when I'm working(or not working I should say) at my business, but have had a few days of pretty good pugs as well as premade groups. For the 2nd time within about 8 days had a Hakkon's Valor drop for someone in the party off NM Dragon, I'm hitting 130 dragons and nada. Played with Rhorim for about 10/15 minutes, sorry I wasn't in game for chatting, fsunfus and snipe had a private chat going. They actually didn't know you and were being skeptical but I said you could hold your own, which you certainly did. Played a couple, maybe a few rounds with Autumn over the last few days, was just curious if the game plays better for you if I host, because I usually can't connect or stay in your games if I try to join. And don't want you to think I'm a hater, I like playing with you. New item of the day out of my garbage chests: Superior Belt of Healing I believe? Stashed in my character's underwear drawer for now!

I never host games. So not on my end. I am in California if that makes a difference. There are a few users when I play, no matter what there is lag, Can't figure it out.

 

I also have a 100+MPS internet connection so I don't think its that.

Joined a NM pug with a top 10 leaderboarder, someone who've I played many pugs with before. All is well and we're rolling along. Then another top 10 leaderboarder joins. "Well, this is great!" I think to myself. Then another top 10 leaderboarder joins...I'm not quite sure if I should laugh or cry. By zone 4 I'm sobbing, "Please let me kill something? How about that wraith over there? Please? Just one? I'm gonna go get it...nooooooo! It was MINE....I ONLY WANTED ONE KILL....PLEASE LET ME KILL SOMETHING....JUST ONE...I PROMISE I WON"T SPAM F4 AT A TREASURE ROOM....JUST LET ME GET A KILL!" 

 

 

Lol, no, it wasn't exactly like that, but it was a sight to behold. They made NM look like Threatning. Kudos to those folks, as they are great teammates, you know who you are.

Take Assassin with "I was never here" into a Solo Nightmare match until you get demons.

Kill everything except the Fear Demons (best to have more than one of them ^^).

On Nightmare they spawn the Fearlings very fast. It´s dull but effective. I did it only once, I completed the challenge mostly by just playing the game, but enjoy

Played with fsu guy, picked him up a few times in my NM runs.  Going to guess he isn't a skeptic anymore. Plus got master stamina amulet

So in PUGs recently I have noticed something. Not quite sure if I would consider this cheating or what.

 

But I have noticed that the AI caters the baddies to who we are instead of just having an set assortment of baddies. For example, I just ran a in  PUG vs Qunari and we had two archers and two Mages, On level 4/5 there were JUST barrier breaker rogues and the smaller deepstalkers. And a Saarebas at the end. No other baddies at all. No kidding, not a single male Qunari cep the Saarebas at the end.

 

Then the other night in a private match we were running a FC run vs Venatari and we had two warriors and two rogues (Assassin and SS), Up the first set of stairs there were over a dozen Vinatari Mage enemies all throwing down glpyhs. We just stood there and was like, now what do we do?

 

So the people in the game decided to exit out and come back with two mages and two archers.... just to see what would happen. We got ALL shied Vints.... not another type could be seen.   

 

They must have a good spy network to know who is coming before they get there.

Spent almost all day today (Sunday) down in Threatening and Routine. I had some mates I convinced to start playing so I hung with them and I also tried out some weapons/equipment and characters I normally would not have taken the time to use . It was fun and it was nice to see them get excited about playing. WOOT! I

Was it NM? Because I've noticed that the game seems to simply looooove spamming spellcasters on that map and level. Part of it I think is how the game is ramping up the difficulty: replacing "weaker" enemies with "tougher".

I was wondering about something like this. When I was playing Elementalist earlier, sometimes I would have no cool downs for all my spells. I could cast until I ran out of Mana, and it happened on more than one run. I don't assume that is normal? Do you know what triggered that by chance?

^^ On PC it is easy to cheat, IDK if it is possible on Consoles.

Elementalist have Flashpoint passive that bypass cooldowns and it activates when you crit, so in your case, that might happened.

I was running a NM match by myself waiting for people to pop in. I get someone in mid round 1 and they proceed to leech their way through the whole thing. The name was familiar and I BELIEVE this player was well strong enough to play NM.

 

I get another pug pop in and he is actually trying. We were in elven ruins and we get poison event on round 2. Of course the leecher goes down because his ass wont move out of the poison and the poor pug ends up dying to the constant string of Vint Mage + Shield Douche. I manage to get to the last room to light the fire and spend what must have been 15 minutes being juggled by Shieldbros while constantly electrocuted. I *heroically* fend off the horde and we go into 3/5.

 

The leecher continues to leech and we get to a point where the pug fades out, I am getting attacked by mages and brutes and the leecher is just standing there. I move over to the leecher to get the brute to knock him out and when the leecher is down I go at him like a prison gang on a snitch. I recorded the epic teabagging for posterity. I will refrain from posting it here on account of anti-shaming rules. But it was pretty satisfying. I even pick him back up so that I can teabag him a second time.

My apologies Miss. I hopped into a threatening match with you and I believe your buddies. One of them was a chatty Kathy and was already saying things when I popped into lobby, referring to my Avvar. So i got in, and to be honest, was just a little too much. I wasn't having the best of luck all day with pick up groups, and wasn't looking to do any threatening matches at the time, so I opted out into some perilous runs. I do like talking to people on the mic, but just wasn't feelin it.

 

On a separate note, had to /palmface yesterday morning. Was doing a NM dragon and had two pretty powerful mages, I was on my SS. Got dragon down to 10% or so and rushed over to trebuchet, Made very fast time getting to it, so let her rip, and......glitched the match, I was host so I had to pop out, migrate, then rejoin. But I screwed Ophaus because he couldn't rejoin the lobby. Sigh.

 

Guess its a morning for me to reconcile and think about all the wrongs I've done. Sometimes its a lack of coffee, and other times its just complete brain farts.

 

On a good note, grinded out about another 10/12 promotions and starting to even out my con/wp/cun around 70 each, should get it by end of the week. I think I'll just run non stop perilous matches, as the gold and speed are both a great pace.
