Were you playing since the start of the game? Only time I've ever kicked anyone who wasn't AFK was when they replaced a DC'd friend. Aside from what lcneed said about Dragon Rage, I saw nothing worth even mentioning, let alone anything kick-worthy.

I zoned in to the group in progress.  If they didn't want ppl to join, they should have set it to private.  Wasn't dicking around either. Anyone who's grouped with me has never seen me leech.  I don't know if it's rude but often i'll group surf until i find someone i recognize or the group make up looks tenable and avoid players who either leave their mic on and don't use it to contribute, or players like this who are simply unsportsmanlike.

I joined game in progress yesterday in Perilous OC.

I was a level 1 Avvar

Two level 14s kicked me from the game.

Yeah, fair enough, but it could have been three friends who left a spot open for a random to join, then one of them DC'd and you replaced them. Same thing has happened to me and the people I used to play with when we were one short of a full game. Just a possibility.

I too, don´t see anything wrong in that video. I find it hard to imagine they would kick them because they were not using dragon rage, but I´ve seen many weird things, so it´s certainly possible. The joining friend seems likely, though I find it incredibly rude mid game, unless they had some unfortunate friend crashing from game moments before you joined(I personally would still not kick the new player out, but not everyone is like that. It would make the kick more understandable though) .

Or they think you are killing things too well or they minded you died. Some players have just the most weird ideas about how others should play. Shrug.gif

I would suggest sending friend requests to players you get on with. I was lucky when I started that a number of players helped me a lot  and didn't mind when I messed up. They made the game a lot of fun as well. (True friends are the ones who will watch as I attack a bear with my lego rather than one-shot it for me. I swear the bear had gray hair by the time I finally killed it. :) )

Grouped with kallen before and at least 1 other in that video.  Rather have kallen in my group.  FYI those guys have mics, should asked why the skulls.

Reminds me of the time I joined a NM FC game with my lego where someone started alone, I called the dragon because I still needed hakkons and on zone 5 we were still 2 and the other guy just ran around and watched me.  :(

It usually happens to me when I play LVL 1's on threateaning.

It's funny when one of the other players don't know how to kick. Sometimes I stay and help them. Releasing revenants, and escaping with the torch.

Thanks for the vote of confidence.  I often verbalize my thoughts, better for me to not have a mic on in a pug...

If i had my mic live, I'd probably have wound up in a fight.  Better to just avoid that, i tend to escalate ****. I'd rather not be the bad guy. It's supposed to be about having fun and meeting new people. Usually i'd just go get a coffee and let the feelings burn off and log back for a new group.  Felt though it was a good opportunity to post a sample of why some players don't go to Perilous when there are players like that out there.  I've done some NM on my lego successfully, but i don't have the promotes to zerg Peri yet.  only 440.  Not a lot of ps4 players doing Perilous so pug groups are limited.

I could be wrong, I think they may have skull you because you are not using dragon rage at level 17?   Seriously your life would have been much easier on perilous with dragon rage.  But having said that, you were doing okay even without dragon rage.   I have never seen anyone skull anyone on perilous on the PC unless they don't come to the flag.  Console folks are more unforgiving...

I'm sorry but it's no one's business or job to judge what abilities/spells one uses. The point of these types of games is to make the characters your own and have fun. If people are that judgemental about how YOU play YOUR own character it's better to just ignore them and move on.

I got a lot of flack once by all THREE people over the mic because my Keeper didn't have one particular passive and they even said, what's the point of playing Keeper without that passive? At the end I had TRIPLE the XP points that any of them had and was the ONLY one who didn't die once. One of the dudes at the end actually said, "Well I guess that's the point! Good job!"

Perilousing as a level 1 Reaver. Squishy guy died after being pulled into dragon fire when someone hit the door to zone 5.

So of course, out of nowhere, Tamar says "well done." That feeling when the character you're playing makes you sound like a douche.

Tamar is not the most pleasant person, but I liked when she offers to help Luka find her mushrooms. So she does have a soft side.

True enough. All around, she isn't quite as abrasive as you might expect someone who literally tears enemies apart to be. Interactions with Luka are my favourite, though. Which is a shame, since she's so rare these days.

I'd be suspicious of anyone who didn't. Pretty sure her mines were behind my old GPU dying, but she's forgiven.

Also, lots of newer players around tonight. Actually only had one guy join who I recognised as being promoted. Six bars of health was the highest except for this guy, so NM was...interesting.  They tried, though, which I'll take over an AFK any day.

Heh no need to be sorry.  You are talking to the one who put on T1 armor and dancer axe on my reaver on NM.   But as far as I could tell, that is probably the only reason they skull'ed him in that match as least from the clip.   Or maybe they were counting the number of death and will skull anyone who will hit the fade on the next death..  I know there are people who will do that so they don't get the "stronger enemies".

Rarely see any skulls on Perilous on PC anymore because in any PUG, there are 1 to 4 people who could easily solo Perilous with a level 1. :P  Usually it would be 3 who could easily do NM but 1 kept dying in Perilous so the leader will just stay in Perilous because otherwise the 1 will drop out after first map in NM.. and then what do you get?  Just 3 people... instead of 4. :P

The only time I will skull people is if they:

1) aren't playing or even trying to play

2) are abusive on the mic

3) or aren't playing with the team (when everyone else is calling you to a particular spot do not aggro everything and then come join them)

4) if you repeatedly open the door to the next area as I am collecting a chest I hate killing a revenant only to have someone pull me to the next zone just before I get the chest

5) doesn't happen often, but stealing a kill when I'm trying to heal when you have a reaver in the group let them deal with the melee peeps and try to focus on the ranged people

A few zones AFK is acceptable, things come up, any more than that /kick

2) are abusive on the mic

Mute them

3) or aren't playing with the team (when everyone else is calling you to a particular spot do not aggro everything and then come join them)

Can't control all of the people all of the time, sometimes you just need to accept people won't come and adjust yourself to compensate.  People with high promotions tend to stand out in the open.

4) if you repeatedly open the door to the next area as I am collecting a chest I hate killing a revenant only to have someone pull me to the next zone just before I get the chest

Clear the rooms before the zone is finished, almost everyone I play with (have played with) does this.  If you are the host, everyone should really be respecting your wishes though.  A top 10 leaderboarder unfriended me as I zoned us before she could collect 1 pot.  People with 2 million gold stored are so tetchy.

Low Health is better on Reaver. (Health Potion, Regen Potion, Rock Tonic for emergencies.)

If things come up leave the game, anything more than one zone is leech territory.

Mute them

I've muted peoples back ground noise but if a guy or gal is simply acting like a dick I'll be happy to put the skull on them or I'll leave the game.  I don't like playing matches with ass clowns.

3) or aren't playing with the team (when everyone else is calling you to a particular spot do not aggro everything and then come join them)

If it is a rare case fine and I'd never put a skull on a person for aggroing I'd just leave the lobby after the game.  If you are going to run off and agrro you;d better clean up your mess rather than letting the enemy attack people who are busy with a revenant or horror.

4) if you repeatedly open the door to the next area as I am collecting a chest I hate killing a revenant only to have someone pull me to the next zone just before I get the chest

It's not the gold that counts, it's are you paying attention to how i am playing the game that is important.

If I need to kill to maintain health it is up to me to do the killing, I never get mad at people for killing, some games it is tougher for a play relying on heal of kill but thems the breaks.

It's not usually much of a problem, the aggro issue I have is they charge in, aggro everything die and then get pissed because I don't revive them.  Sorry, I'm a little busy cleaning up your mess.
