Hopped into a night duo on perilous last night, cleared most of the first map and a couple solids joined in. Come 2nd or 3rd match had the 4th player leave and a level 8 reaver pops in. 2 minutes into match he says "oh man, this is perilous....s*** " and procedes to do here and there, but honestly he was trying. We carried him through a couple matches, he was psyched he stayed alive through a match which we had a Saarebas running barrier lol. I even got to educate him on how to promote a character, and then he thought "now I'll get those baddies!" though in other more ebonic terms. Had a good time, its nice that 2 or 3 good players can easily overcome someone testing the waters cluelessly.

Kallen, I think that was the infamous Nugaarebas, they have mad hops with their Carrot Leap ability! I feel your frustration there, even Chuck Norris sheds a tear when the nug gets away!

More good games last night, had a couple of duo nightmare runs with a regular player and then several perilous runs with some good but less experience players.  Had a fun all mage group in the last game, but we were never in jeopardy, a high promote zither with power chord just womps most enemies.

Ran a few rounds last night with PuzzledPacifist, Autumn_Witch and Michaeltestet, I was on Izzy. Was coming back to game from putting my daughter to sleep and made a lobby. Failed to equip Broadsides onto my abilities. But I did put on the ring for it, lol. I was level 15, and there were 2 lvl 1 Saarebas, (is the plural Saarebases? Looks weird so I'll just go with the grammatical error.) and 1 lvl 1 Virtuoso. Tevinter Ruins Perilous. Tough match with just Bolt and Flashing Steel. Took the trophy for noobie of the night going to the fade within 20 seconds of 5/5, thereafter the party wiped. But we had sweet vengeance on the next nightmare run with things exploding everywhere from PowerChord, Barrier always being topped off, me equipping my abilities and making use of my 2nd ring. All I can recall is large numbers everywhere and a sort of Northern Sky coloration everywhere we went.

Ran a few NM last night with some new people, some old friends, and made a new friend (Yeay Phoenician)  And finally hit my 250 on the archer... I guess it's on to the Katari for a while.  Only 2 NM away from my traveler but it was late and I had to be at work early this morning

Failed to equip Broadsides onto my abilities. But I did put on the ring for it, lol.

 

I think the ring only reduces cooldown or maybe cost (forgot which one).   I think you are better off putting on an +attack or +crit chance ring.  I wish the Bolt ring is +30% damage instead of reduce cost.

Couple of very quick perilous games this am with an experienced well equipped team.  Rolled through the matches in very fast time including getting all treasure we could.  Had a series of good games last night as well.  A few with a decent but less experienced team.  They played pretty well for lower promotions and not great equipment.  They were gobsmacked at how good my Isabelas crossbow was doing in matches.

For the 1st time in ages I actually got ticked off with team mates for their play in a match last night.  And it wasn't really their fault, just newer people with not great gear and low promotions.

 

I start a solo game as a level 1 Isabela vs Red Tramplers Perilous (could not find a game to join).  Solo through till the last end game wave, no really confident I can beat the commander.  However I am doing well, playing hit and run, and whittling them down   Then a katari joins, runs in and goes down immediately, I fight through and raise him he has almost starter gear so he quickly dies two more times with me raising him and using healing mist on him. 

 

Just after he goes to the fade another guy joins, archer in starters gear.  I hope that he can stay away from trouble, same thing as the katari, he is trying but he is just too weak and goes down 3 times and into the fade (Your enemy has gotten stronger!)

 

Player 3 joins, not sure what class they were, keeper I think, down and dead three times.  I am finally down to the commander and about 5 or 6 mooks, but I have run out of all healing, mists, rock armour as I used most of it up trying to rescue team mates.  I get caught in a windmill and just can't get any elusive up to save my bacon.  I croak with about 2 guys and the boss down to 1/3 health left.

 

I swore.

Yeah, I think it stung a bit becasue I never expected to be able to solo as level one with that character and was about to be successful until help showed up.  normally when people join out of 3 you would get at least one that could be a major plus.

Tried poison build for alchemist for the first time. Fun and actually really effective, going to try that some more.

I have been so busy trying to get 250 match objectives for all class I have not played some of my favs for a long time.  The Alchy is so much fun to play and you can effectively play her in a variety of builds.

Yeah, I think it stung a bit becasue I never expected to be able to solo as level one with that character and was about to be successful until help showed up.  normally when people join out of 3 you would get at least one that could be a major plus.

Had a lot of my mind this morning, work related stuff. So decided to just run mic free routines with characters that needed completions, and get my level 1's off the ground at the same time. It was fun playing god mode, pretending I was a promotion lord breezing through perilous with lvl 1's. This game does offer great stress relief when not broken.

Well at my rate, that should be doable in about another 100 days! Though a couple characters are quite survivable at least with some gear and a large handful of promotions.
