Got a few more.

 

First Game:

 

Had a Legionaire that would ignore all enemies just to chill at a treasure door and spam “Come here!” while everyone else is fighting.

 

Second Game:

 

Decided to play my Necromancer after a few days hiatus, she’s level 10, get in a Threatening game.  Tevinter Ruins.  Group is a Keeper, Archer, Reaver and myself.  We’re going through fine, I’m enjoying making everything explode with walking bomb, it was good times.

 

And then there was a dog humping a wall.

 

I wince and we manage to kill the dog, I sit and wait, hoping for the sound effect of the key dropping, it never came.  Had to bail out

 

Third Game:

 

Noticing my Necromancer only needs like 2k xp to hit 11, I decide screw it, I’ll do a quick Routine game to get the level real quick.  Join a game with a Legionaire, Alchemist, Archer and myself, nice balanced group.  Once again the Red Templars feel the wrath of my walking bombs, it’s glorious.  A giant walks up to greet us as we enter a new zone and he is promptly taken care of.

 

Or is he?

 

The giant’s life goes to zero, but then he pulls a Hulk Hogan and just stands up like nothing happened.  At this point I’m pretty annoyed, we finish off the other mobs in the zone and sure enough, key doesn’t drop.  I quit and switch to the Keeper for a few games, one day I’ll get that Necromancer to 11, but today was not that day

 

Bonus Game:

 

Was playing my Elementalist for a few games, I join a Threatening Game, we fire it up and proceed to the first group of mobs in the first zone.  I Barrier the Templar, Alchemist and myself a second before we charge in and I hear this on voicechat.

 

Alchemist: WTF a barrier!?  Why a barrier!?!

Templar: Man this Ele doesn’t know what he’s doing

Alchemist: I can’t believe he has barrier, what a waste!

 

It completely boggled my mind, they were mad I was using barrier on them?  That was a first.  Long story short, there was one pull in the run where they got focus-fired by archers and I managed to save the day with help from the Reaver and my “Wasteful” Barrier.  Left that group as soon as the Commander was dead and we were back at the lobby.

 

Perhaps I will have better luck in the next few days.

Huh?

 

I run a non-AoE Elementalist (particularly at the moment) with a Barrier.

It's tough on individual targets and has good team and self-protection.

 

I have successfully clutched zone 5 with it.

I got kicked as a level 4 Hunter on Threatening   Never tried him that low before, but i'm thinking Griffin + HoK + stuff should be fine?  I guess the PUGs didn't agree.

 

Funnily enough earlier that evening, i took my level 4 Katari to Threatening:  lobby was a level 15 AW host, 10-ish alc(?), and a 12-ish elementalist.  Everyone else readied up, but Ele dumped a kick vote on me, and wouldn't start until the AW flashed on/off a few times.

Ele was throwing out Firestorm, but we didn't glitch, and at the end screen i topped the board, while he got last.  

 

I threw a kick on him back at the lobby for pre-judging the leetness of teh Katari

In danger of reprecussions from people who dont know better, I just wanted to notify you that if you play on PC atleast, firestorm wont glitch unless you use it on some types of creatures especially dogs, wolves etc., or in general on stages (1-5) where they (dogs. etc.) are at all present. If there are none, it wont glitch at all. If you or anyone else do, the chances for the glitch are quite high. Atleast thats how it works in my game, on my PC.

People cant see your loadout, so they wouldnt know. I have been kicked for being level 4 katari in threatening myself as well, even though I outscore most people I meet even that early. They dont know that before we start though. And most people want to maximize their chances for extraction already in the lobby, which is understandable. Most people who play Katari, play Katari badly.

Got a nifty new staff (by the time everything was upgraded, it adds +36 Magic... not that I'm entirely certain what that does...) so I decided to take it into a Threatening PuG with my Keeper.

 

Quickmatch to a lobby. The game's in progress, and there's a kick vote on the leader. I decided it might be a good idea to try another lobby!

I just had the best threatening run I've had so far, one player was not a pug but a fellow BSNer but the two pugs were awesome too, area 5 was super easy with a keeper and an elementalist, nothing could move !

Got stuck on Demons/Orlais chateau/Zone 2. No key drop due to a wolf that wouldn't fall. C'est la vie, I guess.

Huh. It went better. Threatening/Demons/Orlais chateau, with a firestormin' Elementalist in the group. No key glitch and full completion.

 

So...yay.

My last PuG might be my last one for a while... I get the feeling that I'll be playing offline until the next hotfix.

Idiots aggro'ing enemies, setting off objects and then getting killed straight after. Great when i'm clearing out a treasure room with the rest of the team

I am no longer able to play the game due to crippling depression caused by the game being a bug ridden mess.

I do however frequent the forum often to contribute to my post count.

Was pleasantly surprised that the patch already arrived last night. Did not find the option for a bigger mouse pointer, though. No no-key issues through about ove a dozen runs. Found am awesome guy and we made an awesome team. Perilious felt like threatening. We switched through all class types, always picked complementary classes, taking some random players along. I played as AW, Templar, Reaver, Archer, Assassin. Was baffled that this guy topped the scores even with a Legionnaire once or twice; how so? He used shield bash, maybe it is an aoe? Or just a perfect guard management, who knows.

 

This was my best game session so far! Got the flow, man, the flow!

Just thought I'd sabotage myself by saying I haven't run into the key glitch yet. 

 

On the other hand, pugs are still herpy derpin'. Running ahead of the group. Opening the end door when people are picking up pots and clearing treasure rooms... even had one group run ahead after I'd opened a treasure room. "Take on this Revenant by myself? Psh, sure, no problem."

I played yesterday with some AW who had a HoK ring equipped. He loudly complained through the whole game that somebody is stealing his kills and that he is going to die :"OMFG, somebody is stealing my kills, stop doing that you silly fool, I am going to die if you continue to do that." He died indeed a few times. That was on routine iirc and he was level 13 or 14. With portrait and banner.

He died indeed a few times. That was on routine iirc and he was level 13 or 14. With portrait and banner.

That guy is a clown, at 13 my AW can hardly die and I don't have any fancy rings.

Not necessarily. He did not sound like a young guy, maybe just some senior citizen entertaining himself or maybe it is a family account and he was just trying MP for the first or second time. Or maybe he got a few extra shots at night at home, not sure.
