So I started a solo FC run on Threatening and right as a I go to start someone joins the lobby. (I girl with a mic). She asks, "How do I start? I don't know how." Eventually she figures it out and as we fade off to play I hear, "Are there instructions I can read real quick?" 

 

This does not bode well!
 

She must have been playing with someone else's account because she had a decent amount of heath, but she just stood there not even knowing how to move! She faded out in the starting point and I was too far away to go revive her in time. By 2/5 she has figured out how to move and shoot the crossbow but dies three times because she doesn't run away from anything. (Yes I did revive her each time).

 

I give her credit she made it half way through rogue wave at 4/5 before fading. This time when she faded she figured out she was a ghost and started making ghost sounds and singing.

 

The dragon kills her on 5/5 where she sang to us some more. Funny stuff..... Thankfully I had another few people join at 3/5 so it wasn't as bad as it could be.

These days I'm not so passionate about it. People play games for different reasons. I love chasing hard to get items. Some want their characters to be god like. Others want to see their names on the leaderboard. Nothing wrong with any of those reasons. Sorry for being a smartass sometimes. Keeping it in is hard work

Still trying to bring up my willpower, I was playing virtuoso yesterday at perilous PUG.   Went in and started PC.. but then realized 2 of the 3 others were not doing well.  So I started to mix in knight music...but it was so hard as I have to chase them down and give them the buff.   I never worked so hard to keep teammates alive.  I don't even know they know what I was doing as they seem to try to run away from me.  But it is possible they were running away from the cloud of red dots chasing after me.

Had quite a few good games last night but was brought back to reality by failing to carry a victory with my alchemist vs red tramplers on perilous.  Made one mistake and that bahstad Sampsons whirl wind did me in.  No excuse for letting that happen especially when I had knock out bomb.  Went from hero to zero right quick.

The new Lego could only take about two hits and the other one was a new elementalist without death siphon. I was playing with electric pact belt so I had to be a little careful myself but we got through it with excessive little knight music and power chord. Actually, I fell from one of the Qunari commander's magic attacks which is an instakill for me with pact belt so one of the new players had to revive me and we carried on to victory

How is it an incomplete run if you get everything?  I do a speed run variation, simply you grab the pots and doors on the way.  If people can't figure out how to grab the gold after they themselves break the pot, then that is on them.  If they are too busy to open a door while standing next to it, that's on them.  Why should I have to make sure all the gold is picked up, which I do but lately is getting tiresome with me getting pulled through before its done.

 

Only time I excuse not getting doors right away is when the players are getting one shotted, but then again why are they in the match if a single arrow is killing them. Or are you going to suggest I play a perma barrier class all in the name of the community?  

 

Then again no one has paid one of my bills, so go ahead and keep telling me how I'm not playing this game correctly.

You are just telling us these to try to get us to buy a PS4 for this game.  A PUG game cannot be that much fun!

Had two different keepers in NM with a natural 4 bars of HP, in the space of an hour. It's good that the game still brings in new players, but damn.

They were both on the mic but unless they were extremely masculine females, I would say they were both guys. One of the names started with a K and the other one I can't remember.

What? Aren't you forgetting about a certain singing player on the PC? You had to have run into him before. Of course, you have to like avenged sevenfold and Metallica to enjoy it

I had 7 or 8 matches with him last weekend.    He turned down the volume of his music because others complained.   Now I can barely hear the music.

Last time I played with him, he was singing Coldplay which I thought was out of the ordinary for him. But then he started making fun of them while still singing every word to the song.

I believe on coldie's singing... she was singing just the other day but she made up the songs!  I don't know about you singing though...

 

BTW, off topic, I tried to join you guys a few times.  But I got the same problem as I used to have with Gekko's game.   Got the infinite spinning circle and disconnect error.  I think it has to do with incompatible single player mod/plugin.   I think one of both of you must have installed some kind of single player mod in the last week or 2?

I think it has to do with 2 people with different mods (or same mod with different version or something).   I was able to join Gek's game once I moved my mod.  I had like a new hair do mod.   The different between this and normal disconnect is that I cannot ever connect to those games and I have to try to join someone else game to stop the spinning circle.  I think I need to re-install the game to get a clean state.

Played about 5 PUGs last night and only got kicked from one lobby with my Lv1 Arcane!  I look at this as a win.

Genuinely impressive. Were you playing back when they could receive barrier? Them were the good old days.

We rocked it.    I try to keep the dude alive but not sure how the Cpt decides who to follow.  is it the lobby leader?  He's usually doomed, especially if I'm dropping into narcolepsy...   There's an idea for a class.  Spell casting sleep walker where spirits take over the host and cast living dreams from the fade through the fleshy conduit. lol, see what i did there.   Last pug i kept having my consciousness drop frames.  Fade time for m....

Had some great games today/tonite. Missed my goal by one point but meh.... I spent a lot to time in Routine and Threatening today.

 

Had some good NM/Peri runs with Silversmurf and some nice Threatening runs with KallenX.

 

I played around with my Keeper today, I gave her the Storm Pack Belt and Hakkon Staff and two ability rings and set her loose in Threatening and she tore the place to bits. Just have to keep barrier up as much as possible but once I reach level ten she can keep it going 100% of the time. Killed the boss Saarebas in two barrages and destroyed the bolters.That was glorious *maniacal laugh*, like therapy lol.

 

So I got a bit annoyed at this new person (four health bars) playing Saarebas on a few runs. I was playing Templar and at the end I would (by myself) get the boss down to like one hit and the person would come out of hiding in the shadows and take the kill with that jump move. I don't suppose I would mind if he/she actually helped and didn't run and hide the whole time otherwise. Now I had the same experience with a noob playing assassin as well, but she literally tailed me the whole time and would strike every time it was safe to and then go back to stealth. Which was fine cuz she was actually helping and knew to stick around me. I don't know the saarebas thing really irked me.
