Had the most ridiculous match tonight that gave me a migraine. Two guys accused me of hacking because 1) my health kept going back up (10% heal on kill) and 2) because I had ice armor (staff of despair). One also accused the other of hacking because his alchemist armor looked like he was wearing a diaper and there was nooooooo way the game devs would allow something so ugly. I was also accused of hacking when I used a health potion while fighting the main boss.

One's score was 214 so not a complete newbie. This was on PS4. I hope someone else stumbles onto them who can explain because apparently I was too 'defensive'.

I ended up not rezzing them and letting myself die. Petty? Yes, but it made me feel better.

 

I got kicked today (from a Threatening match) because I opened the door and didn't let the leader. Yes they actually told me this. "Only the leader should open the door."  *SMH*

 

EDIT: Mind you when I entered the match at 2/5, two of three had already faded and the third was down to almost no health. They kicked me at 3/5 going to 4/5. Personally I think they were just jealous I smoked there butts but what do I know?

Star Ocean: Integrity and Faithlessness was brilliant! Don't believe the online scores. If you like JRPG's then you'll love this. I even shed a tear at the end. Pity these games are dying The AI is pretty bad but you get more "roles" that increase AI/decision making, so the reviewers clearly didn't put enough time in.  Reviewers completed in 20 hours so they didn't do side quests.  I did it in 47 hours and only got 72% of side quests done.  Was a nice diversion but clearly you are missing me so I may make an appearance in DAMP again soon!

Must have been something in the air tonight. My first terrible experience so I guess I should count myself lucky. Haven't run into anything that childish.

And since you're here I'll say thanks for the help in that Perilous run. Your S-baas is pretty amazing. I'll get into MP for a while and then disappear for months and only have a few promoted past ten. Did get my first Hakkon weapon though. Greatsword. And I hate playing warriors. xD Fml.

Spent maybe 2 hours between last night and one run this morning doing routine FC poison runs. The time it takes to complete with commander not all that bad, about 20-22 minutes for 230-240 kills. Got 777 kills so far, will throw a poison run daily into my routine. It also happens to be another thing I can do while making dinner just like playing Saarebas, except I don't have to have my controller on me! As for the spider, I will tactically sloth this achievement 3-5 spiders/day. So just about 600 days to go until I get it!

This is entirely why I don't play threatening anymore. Too many people who think they know what they are talking about because they don't know enough yet to know what they don't know yet (confusing sentence).

 

On the flip side, if you didn't open the door they probably would have kicked you for skipping the door, Oi Vey!

Probably a DAMP issue, I've been getting that a lot recently.

Got lectured for using the font before entering the last dragon level.   As the team rushes up to face the dragon i see one player at about half health so I hit the font.  It happened to be the Reaver in the group, a good player.  He sends me a message asking why the heck I hit the font when he was the only one below max health.  I just replied that I saw one team mate injured so it made sense to me to hit the font and that we were going kill the dragon pretty quick in any case with the team we had.  He indicated that he could solo dragons on nightmare.  I said I have no doubt he could but how am I suppose to know before hand that people would prefer to be injured going to the last fight.

 

Just seemed strange to me why anyone would get upset about getting healed before the last battle.

The following rule should apply if you are using a Belt of Urgency:

 

***Use your mic at some point in the match and every time thereafter if new players join to inform them of your use of this fashionable belt, and that you would not like to receive loving from the fountain of health.

I personally don't pay enough attention to other players to see that a belt of urgency is in use, but I usually glance at my own health in between zones and as long as I'm 75%+ I skip, but you can't hold people accountable if you don't inform them. The rage that incites thereafter is simply your own doing.

Was doing some HB runs last night in the Elven Ruins with two friends. I was a full support Saarebas for the first run (barrier, glyphs, rings, curse) facing the Venatori. It was going fine until zone 4. One friend had to step away for a minute so me and the other friend (Reaver) got super cocky and went forward without him. After a while, the Reaver fell from excessive electric Venatori mage spam. I revived him a few times but he eventually faded from the ridiculous number of mages. Then, they made a beeline towards the other afk friend and he fell immediately since he was afk. So now it's two in the fade and I have no offensive capabilities since the mages are all electric and I'm using an electric staff with curse as my only offensive spell. So I switch my own glyph to fire so the enemies take burning damage and periodically drop the fire ring attack all while spamming barrier to stay alive from all the enemies swarmed around me. This goes on for about 5 minutes. I am very slowly killing enemies here and there but it takes forever. I'm considering letting them kill me so we can restart the game since all the enemies are constantly getting barrier applied to them by the remaining mages.

 

THEN, against all odds, a random player joins our HB pug. I couldn't believe it. It's a high level alchemist and she has the burning hand avatar symbol which means she has completed HB runs before! She rushes to my aid, throws stealth up, drops a pile of mines and................dies immediately.   I revive her once, and she dies very shortly after again. Eventually I die as well from trying to revive her. It was just so funny though! Randoms joining HB at a critical moment and then crushing my belief that we might succeed anyway 

 

Game 2: We slowly slog through the game until zone 2 where our main DPS friend gets disconnected and doesn't return. So now I'm the main damage with a Templar which takes forever. Then, another random joins. This random Reaver did pretty decent actually. At the end of zone 4, 1CakeOnWave6 shows up and speeds up the game immensely. He's playing a Saarebas and freezing everything in sight with Athlok Burst finisher. We managed to trap all the Venatori commanders on the stairs in zone 5 and he was freezing them constantly making the final fight a breeze. He had 240 team combos in the five minutes he played that entire game.

So after killing countless NM dragons I was finally rewarded with......THE JADE HAM. With a fire rune it goes great with Korbin. @coldwetn0se and I decided to start a perilous game both using legos with our ham. The visual and sound effect was hilarious. The moment when cold raised her ham high in a ray of light using livid(at 0:07), is just too precious.

In a more serious note the ham's dps is mediocre. I was almost dead once or twice cuz I didn't get heal-on-kill fast enough. At Wave 4 serendipitousElf and another pug joined. Thanks to elf's powerful elementalist we triumphed with ease. Had there been just two of us it would have taken much longer to defeat the qunari commander with our meaty punches.

I jumped into a match the other day (no kidding) with someone using the spoon weapon, ham weapon and a Virtuoso. And I was like, "What is this? Dinner theatre?"

Funny timing, I just pulled out the old ham last night.....in a game.....with my lego.....

 

I regretted it to be honest becasue the team I was on was not a power house team and it took a lot longer to clear things with the ham than with the trusty old bitter axe.  Much like last time I brought out the boon of the spoon, you get spoiled with certain weapons and going back a notch or two is a wake up call.

Got invited to NM run last night, just on random map, they needed a mage so on the AW I went. Got into zone 2 or 3, they were halfway in, saw there were 2 mage doors so I popped the one and got an Arcane Horror. Took me a minute to kill it, got that chest then the key dropped. I mic'ed that I was speeding over to the other door, I pop the freebie door and blammo! They pulled to the next zone. I let out a quiet wtf, but was honestly bubbling between my temples. The speed they were running was great, so I just figured they didn't want to slow down for me, but I took offense, however, didn't talk for the rest of the match. We finish the commander and once at the lobby screen, I left then sent a message politely expressing my grief and thats not how I like to play, but thanked them for the run.

 

And then.....one of them messaged me back that they were in party chat! FML. Feel like an A-hole. Apologize, try to make amends and decide to call it a night. Worked between inside and outside at my shop in 95 degrees all day and must have been heat retarded by night time.
