Exactly, I'd switch on my mic and holler, 'the nug !! the nug !!' if there was time,

but it's such a fast little critter that would be too late for a tunnel visioned team-mate...

I wonder exactly how the golden nug is related to the common nug?

It's a crispy nug. If you grill them and add some tallow or maybe butter then skin gets this nice finish. The hard part is to wait it out and not eat it before it's done.

Despite apparent local limitations of the networking connections, my fledgling "perilious friends list", includes now a Russian and a French guy.

You want some dwarven ale with that, Lego?

I just played a couple of Threatening runs when we were joined by a player I friended yesterday. They had a lvl1 necromancer and another player wanted to kick them, but I knew they played a mean necro and, lo and behold, we were a kickass team. The Keeper would trap enemies in a static cage, the Necro would panic them so they'd run around inside the cage taking damage and then it was up to me and the Reaver to hack'n'slash our way through any surviving resistance. Glory all around!

me with lvl 19 katari, an elementalist, templar and a archer on perilous against venatori. Archer died fast but the templar did some good tanking while getting barrier from elementalist and me doing some good damage and therefore we won. Who says you can't use katari on perilous now bitches!

I feel bad about this one but I was playing my arcane warrior and just listening to a podcast, I usually turn off the voice chat in the game since way too many peoples microphone seem to randomly activate and just has an obnoxious background noise or they use it to talk and there is so much noise in that microphone you can't even make out what they are saying... Anyway, so I had voice turn off and people decided to go for a treasure room while some mobs were coming from another pull, so I took on the mobs and killed them to then notice everyone was dead in that treasure room... so I finished looting and killing the guardian alone... Haha

I'm starting to get the impression that the PuGs that I'm running into have trouble understanding the challenge that's going on. The entire group keeps running past the treasure doors.

And then I landed in Zone 5, just before the objective was completed!

That would normally be efficient, but not today...

Not a true PuG but... just had my first ever perilous runs with Drasca and Co. Man, you guys carried me like a boss XD

The jump from threatening to perilous is insane, so used to archer's lance killing certain enemies on threatening, that it barely scratched on perilous. The converse, for enemy damage, is so true. On threatening, for example, burning wraiths are a nuisance. On perilous, one of them one shotted (with DoT)! Crazy fun tho guys, but I'm a masochist like that.

Went into a match with my Reaver...and the Boon of the Spoon, which I had received just prior to that. It looks absolutely ridiculous and is ridiculously fun to use. Favorite new maul for certain.

Oh, and the match was a success, but who cares? Boon of the Spoon, dammit.

Ugh...  join a Threatening lobby as a Reaver;  2x archers, and another Reaver there, who swaps to an Ele as i'm pondering what to swap to.  Everyone readies up.

Game starts and neither of the two archers move.  Fair enough, they might have the lock bug, me and the lee clear zone1.  zone2 doors open when people can usually move.  Nope they're both still "stuck", however when an enemy runs past us and back to the spawn, one starts fighting it off, but doesn't move again after - great leechers  <_<

As there is two of them, and presumably known to each other, as they both start with a "ZCC..." clan tag, me and the Ele can't kick them.  I run thru the whole level to pull everyone, and then purposefully die.  The Ele fights on, but (as hoped) it's a lost cause.  I send him a msg apologising, but that i'm not carrying leechers.

Presumably though, these two will keep making a bit of gold and xp every game they host-leech

Was playing Threatening as my Elementalist to get him up to level 20 and dropped into a lobby with a high-level Arcane Warrior.  A level 1 Assassin drops in as well as a high-level Katari, and of course a kick vote immediately lands on the Assassin.  I felt bad for the Assassin, and felt if need-be, we could carry them.  The fact that said Assassin had a banner, portrait, and title also helped me feel inclined to not kick them.

I readied up, as did the Katari, but the Arcane Warrior was being an elitist dick and wouldn't ready up.  Was about to turn on my mic and tell him to just ready up before he left, as did the Katari, and I ended up being host.  Normally, I'd immediately drop out of the lobby, but I didn't want to seem like a dick, so I stayed and waited for 2 more people to drop in.  Eventually, a high-level Arcane Warrior and a high-level Keeper dropped in and we all readied up.  Of course, since the Assassin was level one, they started out with 2 kick votes, but I just ignored them and focused on crowd control.  The Assassin dropped a couple times in the following match, but managed to get up to level 6 afterwards and the Keeper got to level 20, switching to a level 13 Arcane Warrior.  Another match and funnily enough, that Arcane Warrior was the first to go down.  The Assassin went down a couple times after that and it ended up with me and the high-level Arcane Warrior carrying zone 5 (damn demons...).  After a couple more matches, I got my Elementalist to level 20 and dropped out of the lobby after thinking twice about it.

But that was last week.

Today, I dropped into a lobby with a pretty decent team as my Legionnaire.  There was a high-level Keeper, a mid-level Archer, and a mid-level Reaver.  Now, mind you, most Reavers I've played with were very competent, always managing to stay on their feet.  The Reaver I ran into today, however, managed to face-plant at least once a zone after clearing zone 1.  I tried to pull aggro as best as I could, but the Reaver just kept drawing everything on top of them before getting dropped.  The Archer went down once or twice, but me and the Keeper always stayed on our feet, essentially carrying the lobby.  After a few matches, the Reaver left and was replaced by a high-level Archer, who was a very competent player.  Did very well for the next set of matches, clearing all the treasure rooms and handling whatever was thrown our way.  Then, everyone dropped out, leaving me as the host.  Naturally, I dropped out as well.

Eventually got my 25 treasure chests after that and decided to level up my Archer, so I started searching for Routine matches.  The first one I dropped into had a high-level Elementalist, Reaver, and Keeper.  Immediately left that lobby and eventually found a lobby that had just a fellow Archer and a low-level Templar.  The Templar wouldn't ready up, so we kicked them and started the match ourselves.

Of course it turned out that I would get a shitton of lag.  Eventually a Reaver and a Elementalist dropped in and, for some reason, the lag pretty much disappeared and I stayed around till my Archer hit level 12 before jumping onto the story.

Had a awesome night on DAMP, my buddy Doc was playing his Keeper( he is one of the best Keeper players I have ever seen )and I was running my Assassin. We got a Lego and another Mage( Ele ) and proceeded to face roll threatening and perilous. Doc would cast barrier and the Ele would drop Firestorm the Lego and I would just charge in and murk all the fodder. It was great, I wish more matches were like this.

I was running around with an Elementalist, an archer and a necromancer with me being templar.

Managed to get in 5 threatening games completed before I had to leave (Got the key error unfortunately and me being the host left to let them continue).

Drop into a game only to hear over black screen that the party died.

Opens on looted items and XP screen.

Thanks very much. :D

Never saw the party, never saw the enemies (don't even know what map or faction).

The one time I got that bug and stayed in a lobby because they would not kick me, we tried teleporting after area, letting me die, nothing worked I really could not move.

Right this one tickled me a bit...
Joined a game with a templar assassin archer and me (katari)
Me and archer start clear and then notice the other 2 just staying at spawn. After me and archer clear 1st wave I message asking why they not moving and they say katari crap.

I reply saying I promoted over 40 times its really not issue + using best axe in game.

They abuse and carry on refusing to move game map crashes on next level so I leave.

When will people learn katari really isn't that bad!?

So I'm running my Assassin( lvl 20) I decided to pug it up on threatening. I get into a game and I'm immediately greeted by loud obnoxious rap music. The host a lvl 20 Reaver starts demanding I change my class because "Assassin ain't **** and die in like one hit" lol, he puts a kick on me and too my surprise the other two a Keeper and Archer let it go they don't kick me. So, I mute the host and start up some Two Steps From Hell listening too the album Invincible( try hard mode engaged, not even going to lie lol ) We clear the DC on door five and guess who's in first me! Hahaha, it was glorious. :)

I was playing a newly promoted Keeper last night and was joined by two Necromancers and a Templar. Nothing really of note to say about the match itself, but the party setup had me in giggles. Mage power! ...plus chaperone. :D

Mage power can work well.

I was just in a 2 Keeper, 1 Necro, 1 AW game against poor old Venatori...

With 'that zone 5 room with the winged statues'.

Necro & AW on top of statues.

Keepers between them acting as bait, but spamming barrier and disruption field.

Tunnel of death.
