Joined a PSN friends game in progress against the Red Templars. The match was glitched(TC was dead but it didn't end) so, the host drops out and rejoins. We ended up doing it three times in a row. Finally the Ele and Keeper bail and it's just me and my Buddy(both playing Legos, lol) So, anyway we divide and conquer taking out all the trash mobs. We finally kill all the mobs and I decided too sit back and let him take out the TC, he wipes the floor with the poor TC and we collect our shiny. All in all it was fun with the exception of the restarts.

Joined a PUG. 2 Assassins, a Keeper and my necro.

 

Demons. No problem for Necromancer even on Threatening. EXCEPT that the assassins decide to go off running ahead, aggro EVERYTHING and then both die. The keeper and I clear the mobs, get to the door and the assassins revive. Did they learn their lesson? No. It wasn't THEIR fault that their died after all.

 

I open a mage door, get the chest, see a LOT of red mobs just outside the lever door and run around the other way to get them in managable pieces. What do the assassins do? Of COURSE they open the door and charge in. There is a Giant fighting the demons and they BOTH aggro that. a second later both go 'splat'.

 

Demons swarm the Keeper and me and we handle them until the Giant gets to us. Then... splat again.

 

One assassin gets on voice chat 'WHERE THE **** were you?'

 

My response? 'Watching stupidity. Assassins with no support versus Giant = SPLAT.'

 

Even for multiplayer... that was pretty damn dumb.

Joined a lobby with a lvl 11 Legionnaire, the pug got on the mic and said he would not ready-up until I changed to another kit (J was playing a lvl 4 Katari) his reason was that the suggested lvl for Threatening was between 8 - 15 and I was therefore not ready to play it.

We played together, I was the Keeper, thanks for accepting my FR  :)

 

But I´m sorry about the second game, zone 5 completely glitched out, I could only see the map foundation and enemies were invisible, so apart from the occansional barrier i was pretty useless there  :pinched:

 

Ah, you were in Narnia...  :D

 

Actually, some people are asking for DAMP Dragons dlc.

Narnia is probably one of the few maps with a space flag enough to hold a dragon.

Ran into a giant right off the bat - first enemy - on perilous. My other 3 randoms bailed immediately - one, a lvl 12 leg, saying **** this - and left me on my own. I gave up and just died.

 

Went to solo threatening. First enemy: giant. Died shortly after.

Went to start another one. First enemy: druffalo. Died shortly after.

Started a third threatening. First enemy: normal soldiers. Last enemy: giant.

 

Lolragequit.

 

So how was everyone else's day?

Narnia is probably one of the few maps with a space flag enough to hold a dragon.

Considering I fought (and got my butt kicked by) my first dragon in SP today I´m not sure I wanna join the asking  :D

 

On topic, the RTC is rapidly becoming nr 1 on my s**t list. Geth stunlock was nothing in comparison  :angry:

Druffalo. Oh those damn Druffalo. I recently did a Perilous run with a Druffalo in Zone 1. Killed me twice. It's like my character was bathed in Druffalo catnip. Throw in a couple of those shield toting Venatori and I kept getting bulldozed. How we made it out of there with an intact squad is beyond me.

Druffalo. Oh those damn Druffalo. I recently did a Perilous run with a Druffalo in Zone 1. Killed me twice. It's like my character was bathed in Druffalo catnip. Throw in a couple of those shield toting Venatori and I kept getting bulldozed. How we made it out of there with an intact squad is beyond me.

 

You only got out of there by the mercy of the Druffalo. O Great Druffalo, may your Benevolence illumine the path to our greatness.

Well, that and an archer with a Bow of the Griffon as well as Stealth and Leaping Shot. Dude was a Druffalo murdering machine.

Had a good grouping of Perilous matches as my Keeper.  Everyone knew what they were doing and we kept extracting.

 

Eventually got bored and decided to pug Threatening as my Archer.  Of course I ended up in a match with only rogues and warriors, so I switched to my Necromancer.  Was a pain in the ass until zone 5, where we eventually wiped because demons.  Switched to my Arcane Warrior and carried a couple matches before I left.  Went to another match as my Archer and found a lobby with a Legionnaire, an Archer and an Assassin.  Was about to switch to my Arcane Warrior again when the Archer switched to an Elementalist.  We managed to extract, then the Legionnaire switched to a Reaver and the following match ended with a wipe since the Reaver went down once a zone.  Several wipes later in several different lobbies and I decided I was done for the day.

Had what can only be described as a nervous pug in the threatening game I was in yesterday. I was playing with a friend against Ventari and we just started round 3 or 4, a group of ventari soldiers come charging and most die bar one who is at less than 1/4 his health - the soldier was just about to swing his sword towards us but was stopped by a jar of bees that the pug threw in panic.

Nothing special. Played total of 9 games, was able to finish 4, two of which were solo. All the rest were either so laggy that I ragequit or usual ctds or host migration failed. Not counting 4 GiPs where I spawned locked out of movement. I hope we move out of Haven into Skyhold and things get better there.

 

Also, lol-region lock, lol-ping check, lol-laaaaaaaaaag. Not just a little lag but like 2 second lag. I don't know who wrote the netcode and how they did it but SP is working just fine without any ctds for hours while in MP ctds are the norm every 5th game off host or on host on a bad day.

 

Sorry for the rant, I wanted to convey some positive experience but there were none.

I just went a few rounds with two Katari on my elementalist. There was an archer in there for a bit but he ducked out so the two Katari and I three-manned half another round of Threatening before yet another elementalist joined the fray. All the yelling Katari and the screams of panicked, flaming enemies...I had a blast!

Yeah well. Three monthes and still a lot of bugs. Yesterday night I tried five matches, three of them crashed/disconnected or failed to migrate after host crashed/disconnected. Ragequit.

 

Funny the session before, running with a three-person friendslist group, which usually can even finish a perilious run with only two players, the french leader getting totally worked up in his broken english about a fourth lvl10 drop in; "ffuckin leecher, kick ffuckin leecher", went on about 5 minutes because one of us refused to kickvote, then we had to follow him into a new group, again another lvl10 player dropped in, and his ranting started again. I had to laugh a lot. Some ppl take the game way too serious.

I had an error pop up about 10 seconds after I finished wave 5 in a match last night. Got lucky and the exp counted. Couple seconds earlier and I think I would have been screwed.

Mostly good games last night but suddenly a series of about 3 very laggy rubber bandy games.  Over all most extracted on threatening and pretty decent co-op other than a few games.

 

I can normally tell which games will end in failure by about wave 3.  Even if the team is polishing off the tough guys without a problem the team starts to separate from each other at just the wrong time, the tough archer spawn.  i think that is near the end of wave 4?

Had a lovely couple of fistfuls of lolroutine with KrotchytheKlown and Rhododendron. Most fun I've had in a while. Made up for the crashes and errors yesterday.

I think I just finished my first Perilous PuG without even knowing it! :o

 

I figure the lobby was stealth-switched when we weren't looking. That having been said, I did have a match go from Threatening to Routine after a host migration, and we had one after a key glitch, so it's possible that there is a weird bug that switches difficulty after a migration and I just got credit for my first Perilous in a sort of sketchy way. Not sure.

 

Also, I got my first DA:I hate mail from an earlier PuG. Weird part? I was tanking with a Legionnaire, and the hate mail was from someone mad at me for using a font - which I never used because my Legionnaire never took any health damage.

 

Edit: Checked the video, they stealth-switched it to Perilous in the lobby. I totally just finished my first Perilous PuG.

1. Disconnect after joining lobby.

2. Error joining.

3. Made it into a lobby AND in game. Fast run. Crashed on exit.

Calling it a night with that. Xbox one apparenkt having some issues on their end.

Just had a mind-boggling-dafuq kinda perilous pug.

 

It started off as a duo with me and an ele, and went pretty smooth.  Died on the second wave from archers that didnt get knocked down from charging bull, but other than that it was going smooth.  Another ele joins, and we continue.  Eventually on the fourth wave a legionnaire joins, and its immediately obvious that he doesnt have taunts.  Ok, whatever, hes level 8 and has invincibility, hes probably looking for a good exp boost.  

 

Unfortunately key doesnt drop, and we lose the first ele, the only person with barrier.  His replacement is a level 16 legionnaire.  Alright, now we have a real tank for us right?  Nope, once again, another legionnaire without any taunts.  WHY?  What are you doing!?  Two Legionnaires in a perilous game and neither one has any taunts, or personal tanking ability.  They think tanking means putting up shield wall nearby (but not actually in front of) the ele.  

 

The disappointment just turned to hilarity as we started the fifth wave.  Before I plant the flag everyone takes their positions.  Can ya guess which position the level 16 legionnaire took?  Behind the ele, on the stairs, with shield wall up.   <insert jackie chan "What is this?" image>

 

After that I just lost it.  Didnt care what happened after that.  Found the boss, used to the death, and just went with it.  Eventually I notice the two legionnaire are the first to drop, followed by ele shortly after.  After a valiant effort within a horde of enemies I drop last.

It's amazing how many Legionnaires and Templars run around without even trying to generate Guard.  Mind-boggling, really.  I've actually seen more Katari generate Guard than Legionnaires.

 

Hell, I've even seen more Keepers that Barrier the party than I've seen Guard-generating Legionnaires.  Makes you wonder what's going on in their heads.

And after leaving perilous because of the formerly mentioned game, I end up in a threatening lobby with all katari against demons.  Great game with lots of charging and mighty blows, and full 4 man extraction.  Amazingly beautiful  :D

Assassin with death blow and a decent team, handing instantkills to all enemies which are already whittled down to 50% life by my team. Pure joy, and very fast runs.
