First PUG with my elementalist was horrible. Even had an AW join, but we wiped on wave 4 because people were running all over the place when the target was a Templar Knight miniboss.

Luckily I was able to have some decent people connect after that, where we made a well balanced group and cleaned a good 6 rounds so that everyone got the commendation chest.

Woot, I'm decent. BadgerladDK, the guy running around raining fire on all the things with the Elementalist I'd never played before today.

I had a leech, and I put a kick vote on him to no avail. When I went back to look during Zone 5, every member in the party had a single kick vote on them. Leecher ended up getting his Threatening medal, which annoyed me, even though there was no way that I was going to fail on purpose to prevent it.

Next game, I had a Legionnaire who actually got on his mic to announce that he was going to refuse to open warrior doors, even though he was our only warrior. Which didn't stop him from insisting that everyone else open the mage/rogue doors...

Pugging with a friend and introduced him to a Druffalo for the first time. It suddenly popped round a corner and instantly gored the us, almost killing the both of us on round 1. Thankfully he managed to use barrier and I put the Druffalo to sleep with knockout bomb. I really love random Druffalo encounters :D

Apparently, I suck with the Reaver.

Which will not stop me from continuing to subject Threatening PuGs to my use of it.

It was weird. Zone 5, a keeper goes down, with the Demon Comm. down to a pip of health, and the lobby host leaves. Restart, the new host goes down with DC down to half health...and leaves. Host migration, I'm the new lobby host, a new guy pops in and we finish the match.

Are people under the impression that this weekends challenge is the immortal challenge?

Worst.

Keeper.

Ever.

Down 3 times by Zone 2 at level 15. Down within one minute of every zone thereafter.

Luckily, I was capping my Legionnaire to level 20, who had Unbowed, Shield Wall, and Walking Fortress... so I wasn't going to die even if they brought nukes.

Went into threatening.

Level 14 Necro - kicked x 3

Level 13 archer - kicked x 8

Finally promoted by Necro and got into a threatening game already in zone 2. Ended up leading and got to level 6 or 7. Everyone voted to kick me despite my having just doubled second place's score in 3 zones. Didn't even go down once. Give me a damn break. Can all the pathetic level 17-20s head back to perilous so we can actually get challenges done?

Really? F***ing really?

I want to hear the justification behind those.

I'm sure this tally will increase throughout the night. /rage

Sorry about earlier Hadred. I was just getting off.

Hey, everyone's gotta learn sometime! :)

Also @ Adamantite_Wolf That really sucks about all the kicks. I wonder if those are folks who get their jollies by topping the leaderboard and don't think they can beat those classes. Still, that's just silly.

About my last 4 games were all just excellent, great teams, few errors, we just kicked the hell out of the bosses.

Probably people who only use a single class and don't realize a level 4 archer can longshot chain 6+ enemies with a decent bow.

Partied up with Hadred shortly after and played on the archer til I got bored then switched to a level 5 Necro shortly after. Lol.

Yeah, I saw some of those longshots, was pretty brutal.

If I'm hosting and see a lowbie for Threatening, I'll usually give'em a chance.  Most of the time they pull their own weight and it's fine.

EDIT: Also no problem on missing the first invite, was doing my first round of invites to fellow PS4 BSN'ers.

Breezed through some Threatening matches with CookieMonstuh, ryanmiller (I'm probably spelling that wrong) and ... sorry, can't remember his name. Trifecta speed run. But, I'm all about the loot, so I had to split, man.

And I had to pee.

Do BSNers really pug (on PC)? For real?

Since I can't pug I haven't come across anyone.

Well, I just gotta say that if you guys are keen to stop pugging and start playing with friends, my Origin's List is always open. ID same as here.

Yes V3gan, there are a few of us Master race players around PUG'ing.

I always just select the class I want to play, at the level I want to play it and start a hosting session, and let people drop in as the game progresses.

I'm based in Europe though, so YMMV.

My first PUG of the day was (again) a wipe, and again with an AW that thought he could solo everything (The reason there was a wipe :().

Luckily the next group was much better, and we again went a balanced setup and cleared a good 4-5 extractions before breaking up.

Ah well, at it again!

I pug about half the time, and I've seen a few names from here out there in the pug wilderness.  My Origin name and BSN name aren't the same, however.

So I had the funniest damn match of my life today. I joined a chateau on threatening w/ my lvl 16 keeper. Couldn't move, of course, got the bug. But I managed to fade step my way across 2 zones, revive everyone else, static cage and barrier the hell out of mobs and the team--plus I had my elementalist's voice, so my keeper sounded like a dude. Long story short I pugged that sh*t pretty good considering I had no mobility, and I finished second place!

HAH!

Edit: Ok well maybe not pugged on purpose, that fade step tends to throw you random distances.

Just did another chain of Threatening runs for the weekend event and something different happened.

Had a Katari in the group, I've been hosting a lot this weekend, helping the pugs get their games in and such, seen the level 20's and the lower levels with no banners or titles.  But this Katari was different, but not in a bad way.

When I play my Keeper I'll usually try to get ahead of everyone before each pull, not to try to be Johnny Rambo, but to get my Barrier ready.  I found that in pugs half the time the group will see my Keeper with her hand raised and group up for Barrier and half the other times they will run right by and be split up enough to where I can only get myself and one other person.  Once I cast that Barrier though, I'm off! :P

Anyways, this is what I was doing for one run.  Get ahead, manage to get Barrier on the Templar and the Katari and then Fade Step into the sea of mobs.  It took me a few pulls to notice, but the Katari started shadowing me.  Even going so far as to follow me into treasure rooms that were guaranteed not to have a guardian and he even followed me when I went to plant the Banner in Zone 5 and run back to "The Room."

He stayed for the rest of the runs I did that night.  My little(Big?) Katari bodyguard, was good times and he actually helped me out a lot knocking down the rogues and archers that I would miss and start attacking me from behind.

Bodyguards are great!
