^pre-load will be mostly taking 2 days. That´s how long it took to redownload me3

So no really profit :(

Well,no wish to argue, but pre-load was available yesterday at 6 PM.If you have somewhat decent IC,download should be finished by morning or later(I cannot imagine, that you have worse IC than me).You go to school, college, work or whatever and could play at evening(today).

So there is some profit(one or two days are huge,at least for me)

Tried legionnaire in the last game but I find myself totally sucking.

Click mouse 1, hit thin air.

Push 4 to activate shield, stand there like an idiot waiting for an enemy to hit me. :pinched:

Think I'll stick to archers and mages for now...

Hmmm.
Could be forgiven for thinking I was in the ME3MP Combat Strategy forum if I didn't know better ;)
All those familiar names.

Roll on friday.

Couldn't get into a game early this morning. It just kept telling me I'd lost connection. Dammit, EA.

Playing a Keeper is a tough responsibility, man. Having a dual role keeping barrier on everybody when you can, throwing out AOE lightning attacks. Then, you're skinny as hell and need to eat something, so you're constantly hungry. You're also the slowest character in the game.

Big damn heroes, ain't we just?  :P

Well i will be getting my copy of inquisition on xbox one soon yay.

I will be rolling a keeper, with my eyes on necromancer, elementalist, arcane warrior, hunter and alchemist.

the two rogue characters get elemental grenades and it just looks awesome.

I also really love the animation of flask of frost and will be using flask of fire upgraded to spam elemental grenades ;)

Myself, another keeper, an archer, a legionnaire

3-manned it until the last zone, when the archer hopped in. He tried to take on enemies by himself  the whole fight, even when the rest of us grouped up near him for Barriers. Keeper and I had almost 100% uptime on ourselves and tank so the Templar Enchanter wasn't as difficult as we'd thought.

Wipe

Nobody knew what the **** they were doing. Including me.

Calling it now.

I was right, you know. Wiped the first two times. First time in zone 4 by one of those giant red lyrium golem things, second time in zone 5 after killing the commander. Third time we finally took our 4 Keeper team through without losing anyone. :D

Played a bit with Cirvante, ended up as a duo in the last area but he curried us to the glory

Thx for the first successful game.

Lost connection to the game during stage 5. I was totally missing that awesome feature of ME3MP. Thanks, Bioware.

Three other keepers, so I switch to my level 1 Legionnaire. Only takes me like, 4 zones to pull of a proper shield wall.

Full extraction.   One dwarf and three elven chicks.

I was lucky dwarf.

I gotta wonder if that was you, I was one of the elven chicks =p

You're just the right height, too.

Prettygood (oneword)

Cleared wave 5 three times in a row with my Legionaire, didn't have a Keeper either.  Peeps went to town with ranged DPS and the bosses died so quick I didn't even realize it was wave 5 the first time.

*Shudders*

The difference between DAMP and ME3MP is that in ME3, if you really had no idea what you were doing you could basically just shoot stuff and get pretty far, at least on Bronze.

In DAMP, you need to know the roles. For the love of Andraste, those stupid Archers need to get their squishy hides behind my Legionnaire's shield and let me grab aggro.

Anyways, I tried the Keeper. That went okay. Tried the Archer, that failed horribly. Tried the Legionnaire, made it to the fifth area, which is my farthest so far. I think I found my playstyle.

I've also noticed that almost everyone likes to play the Archer, a few people play the Keeper, and I've seen maybe one other Legionnaire. Freakin' Xbox community, man.

Anyways, my incessant complaining aside, I do enjoy it. But it brings back horrible memories of how terribad I was when I first started ME3 MP. This is gonna be unpleasant for the first little while.

Locking camera to a target helps with Guard since you can move around without turning.  Attack twice -> Guard -> is a good strat when you're half asleep, though if you're actually awake you can watch for attacks and respond accordingly

it does feel rather clunky though

Mixed.

I've had a lot of disconnects tonight.  I also had quite a few very good matches (the best was 2 archers, a keeper, and a lego, all at level 1!) were we absolutely decimated the opposition.  Also, I only was in one match that beat the boss before tonight, but today I had 5, so I'm seeing a lot if improvement, both in people's skill, and gear.

Now, if only I could get that last silk I need to unlock the Necromancer.  Not a single piece of cloth in over 2 hours...

My level 9 Keeper with a group of lv 4 Alchemist, 11 Hunter, and 6 Wyvern Slayer. Totally rock out the match, nobody dies till wave 5(and even then maybe 2-3 deaths total) and we pick up 3[i] items off of chests along the way. Next match the Hunter switches to a lv 1 Necromancer, we own the map anyways, pick up 2 more items [i]and take down the Golden Nug. Luckiest 45 minutes I've had in quite a while.

We had a fantastic lower levels vs. routine run yesterday.

   Keeper (1)

   Archer  (4)

   Alchemist (6)

First half of the game was that trio, 2nd half we had a level

1 reaver join.

I was on the alchemist.  Our approach through the first half

with no semblance of a real tank, was Keeper/Archer grabbed

initial aggro from range, alchy would stroll up and bomb, perhaps

kite away a little bit, then pop the aggro/frost flask.  That worked

like clockwork to quickly move through all packs (Red Templars).

For the 5th level commander, we got stuck in the starting area

with tons of adds and the commander.    I think the reaver, and

perhaps one other did not understand that we really needed to

stay ranged on the commander due to our level.  So we lost the

reaver early.  And unnecessarily burned a few rezs.

Looked like we were going to come to a bad end on a great run!

So I stealthed, ran out, then grenaded the whole pack and ran!
Everything followed.

It was unexpected, and glorious!  It was pretty much a kite kill

afterwards.  Lots of christmasy looking bomb explosions, keeper

lightening, and arrows to the last!

Definitely not ME3, but every bit as much fun if you can work out

a group synergy.

Several

Have already pumped about 20 hours into MP

Right now, every time I enter a PUG lobby no one wants to be a Keeper, so I end up using mine (l16). Although, whenever someone does use a Keeper, I can use my Reaver, which crushes all enemies rather easily (that aren't named 'Demon Commander').

I have only played 2 matches on Threatening, definitely better experience and money, but we wiped on 1 and then on 4 (scrub alert!)

Right now, thru all matches, whether PUGging or with FLers, I'm at roughly %50 success ratio
