Had some good rounds with Beerfish over the weekend. In our last match I figure we have a good team so I switch to my L3 Katari to level up. Was doing great, until (I think it end of wave4), then I for some reason played typical pug Katari: charging in, and Mighty Blow, but managed to get myself filled with arrows. Then Beerfish, being all heroic, rushes in to revive me, only to die too. Thanks for trying Beerfish! Damn, lol Katari moment there...

Yeah that was heroic stupid on my part. Unbelievablely I got a lag hic up as I was trying to cast barrier and then to raise you. I ran over to you and to my horror I did not have barrier up.
(To be honest when I saw you equip the Katari I thought,,,,oh no.....he just has to tempt fate doesn't he. lol)

LMAO... "tempting fate" yeah. Go figure, I have played Katari well in many games, and just plain derped in that one. My bad.
I saw you try to cast barrier but it didn't take. I was just thinking on my end "sorry mano... sorry bout that."

Easy threatening run: AW, Ele and archer, everyone's level in the mid-high teens. AW didn't have Pull of the Abyss though, so no clumped enemies for me to charge/smash ![]()
Best ever PUG on Resogun Survival: he died Day 6, but i managed to push on to Day 7-3 ![]()

Had a reasonably well balanced group. My lvl 20 Archer, a level 12 Archer, a level 9 Arcane Warrior and a level 15 Keeper. Threatening. Not that hard. Even Demons are not that hard.
Keeper was excellent. The other archer was okay, except he kept following the Arcane Warrior around. The Arcane Warrior was a COMPLETE idiot. Every zone, the AW went down. EVERY SINGLE ONE. All the same. Run on ahead, spam 'Hey! Over here!' while we are clearing trash or getting pots or whatever. And then go down. Every time.
The FIRST zone he nearly avoided it by Fade Stepping through a Druffalo. Which then aggroed on everyone else. I managed to get a Full Draw shot off to knock it out or we would have wiped in the VERY FIRST ROOM. And what is he doing while we are TRYING not to get turned into roadkill? Spamming 'Hey! Over here!'
Every zone he was like that. Aggros everything, gets swamped, goes down. We rez his silly ass at the door. Rinse, repeat. No problem. I have Punched by the Maker and a lot of other good gear. I am 1 shotting stuff left and right.
Final zone, what does this STELLARLY intelligent person playing AW do? The Keeper runs out to place the flag and he FOLLOWS HER! The OTHER archer follows HIM.
So I am standing there as the Keeper runs back going 'aw ****... Here we go...'
AW lasts about 10 sec out of the room. The other archer and I manage to take down two Terrors, a couple of Fear Demons and then got ganked by the Demon Commander despite the Keeper's AWESOME barriers. That Keeper was INCREDIBLE. You know who you are. Kudos.
We had DC down to 1/4 health when we got swarmed and annihilated. If idiot child AW had actually wanted to play as part of a TEAM, we could have done it. But he didn't so we didn't.
And no, it wasn't because he was playing an AW. It was because he was an idiot.
Spoke with the Keeper after AW quit the lobby.
'Knew that was going to happen after Zone 2'
'Yep'
'Play again?'
'PUGed out for the day I think.'
'Yeah, me too. Good barriers.'
'Good shooting. Nice catch on the Druffalo. Now if we can only get fewer idiots...'
'Agreed.'

As for my last pug last night, it was like taking candy from a baby Venatori. I was playing a necro, we had an elementalist, a keeper and I think an AW. All about mid teens in level if I recall, we just destroyed perilous. Of course one guys says, 'this feels like routine' on about wave 4 and I'm thinking uh-oh. But the uh-oh moment never happened we just kicked rump the whole game. Best perilous game I have been involved in.

Landed in a lobby with one other guy, readied up, saw myself get unreadied and figured it was him switching maps, so I readied up again. Game started while I was using the facilities.
(Scary that you have enough time to do that with the lengthy loading screens. *sigh*)
Turns out he had upped the difficulty to Perilous. Duo Perilous as Elementalist and Keeper? Sure, why not. I kept everything panicked or knocked down with FIRE, while he had Barrier going pretty much nonstop.
We ran into some trouble on Wave Zone* 4 but fortunately two other random people entered the game at that point. Then we proceeded to own on Zone 5... granted it was Venatori but still happy.
* The game officially calls them Zones, not Waves.

Was a total lagfest. I joined a game in progress during Zone 3 with my level 4 Keeper, and ended up just shy of first place (spent the whole match with a kick vote, too.) ![]()

Then i joined a threatening lobby, since I can sorta deal with the lag and rubberbanding there.. except when I can't. Turns out instead of running away from RTC, my assassin pinged back into him and tried to facetank his spin2win. Followed by a group wipe. Sorry you guys. Looks like the Faceplant Scrub is back in town

I had the pleasure of running with Courtnehh and Blacklitez this weekend. Blacklitez kept my Katari up in Perilous with his Keeper's uber barrier skillz, then Courtnehh and I ran a good number of times, switching off AW tanking duties. I must say, I've learned a lot and am becoming a better player while running with these guys. On a side note, Medallionx happened to wander randomly into a run of ours on his sick skillz lvl 1 hunter. We were in party chat so I never had the chance to find out what he was saying in game chat but I did notice his mike was going quite a bit. Apologies to him for that.
Was my pleasure running some games with you bro. ![]()

Satisfying game this morning while riding the exercise bike. (I have to work to keep my girlish figure, you know.) Archer (me), Arcane Warrior, and Assassin on Threatening vs. Demons.
The Assassin seemed to struggle with lag and unfortunately died on Zone 5.
But the AW did his thing, bottling up all the enemies in the doorway so I could repeatedly Archer's Lance [Long Shot upgrade] and Explosive Shot them.
Side note -- Explosive Shot is underrated -- up to 200% damage (with upgrade) and knockdown is pretty good for the investment of 1 point.
Anyway, the AW and I ground down the demons and finished just as my exercise program timed out. Woot!

Blizzards, blizzards everywhere,
two necros filled the map with bitter cold magic. Was very pretty to witness.
Just imagine if they actually worked right. They'd be amazing!
