Tried out the Alchemist. Loads of fun. Going to put the Necro away for a while and just throw explody orbs everywhere

Trying out a slightly different build with my Keeper this time around (promoted all my characters after completing the last Weekend Challenge) and I'm having quite a bit of fun with it.  Kept putting points into passives until I got Barrier's strength maxed, which basically meant only having Chain Lightning and Barrier until level 14 (still managed to outscore an entire lobby on Threatening multiple times with just those 2 spells even though I started at level 8 (party make-up with originally a high-level Assassin and Necromancer with another low-level Assassin, soon switching to a high-level Templar with a level 1 Elementalist, eventually switching up again for a mid-level Legionnaire and high-level Archer)).  When I hit level 14, I grabbed Disruption Field and so far I like it.  Managed to upgrade it's pretty damn helpful.

 

During the last match I did with the group I mentioned, I ended up having to tank against 5 Shades, 3 Black Wolves, 2 Fear demons, and a Pride demon all at once.  Took out all the Shades and Wolves as well as both Fear demons before I finally got help with the Pride Demon.  It was awesome!  

 

As for my Keeper build, I may try going with grabbing Fade Cloak again or trying out Static Cage.  Still debating which to go with...

I didn't even get the experience for it. >8(

Sweet zombie Andraste, just completed my first lag heavy perilous pug with my templar. Mainly thanks to a competent team and templar wombo combo. It was touch and go for a while, and rubberbanding made me feel like a meteor constantly crashing into the DC planet. I didn't want to facetank him but hey, when life gives you lemons, make tequila slammers.

Also, in a separate lobby, I l got instant kick votes for bringing a level 13 hunter into threatening. Didn't really make sense, since the round before, I'd more than carried my weight with the darling Belinda, both in terms of kills and resurrections. I didn't get kicked, and proceeded to laggily faceplant in zone 1. I blame Altbouli

They were either waiting for someone (because changing public to private is ever so hard) or recently dealt with a terrible Hunter. No way a level 13 Hunter should be instakicked from Threatening under ordinary circumstances.

We went from Private to PuG a 4th, and some Lv 13 Hunter come in, this person waited barely 2 min and started spamming kicks on all the "Group" members......So the "Group" who was in group chat said to kick the impatient imbecile, so said hunter got insta kicked!

 

Then we proceeded w/ a patient 4th PuG we grabbed and roflstomped 6 games in a row for our weekend event...

 

Impatience in a room you didn't create, means you either:

 

A =  GTFO

B = Sit there be patient

Had a lovely bunch of lolroutine games with some newish players... then we got an invincible giant glitch. He stood back up but I wrath/purged him and he exploded. Still didn't have a key on him. 

 

Also, always have a lot of fun playing with twitch tv leksiw. This time with scabse. Trifecta of Threatening win.

This. Does anyone else feel like it's rude to kick the leader? I'd rather just leave and find another lobby that's ready to go.

AW and elementalists spamming firestorm in every gold game. Also, lot of keepers without barriers. I played 8 games and 4 of them were very silly wipes. But 4 others worked out pretty well. Clearly, firestorm-spamming is becoming a real fashion these days. Cannot have a single game without it.

Got the Weekend Challenge complete really quickly with my now level 20 Keeper.  Decided to go with Veilstrike for my last spell and I have to say, it's really fun and very useful.  

 

As for pugs, I haven't really had any issues with incompetent pugs for the last week or so.  Only a single wipe I can remember, though that was against Venatori on Threatening and we dropped on zone 3.  Kind of embarrassing since the much before that we had demons and managed to extract with no issues.

 

Anyway, I decided to help one of my friends complete the Weekend Challenge, so I was playing as my Keeper.  After a couple matches, we ended up getting the undead giant.  Since I was host, I left and tried to join back into the lobby, only to find that it was gone.  Opened up a new lobby and switched to my Arcane Warrior, inviting my friend back in.  My Arcane Warrior was at level 12 and only had Chain Lightning and Spirit Blade since I was heavily investing in passives.

 

Still, pretty uneventful.  I want to go with Pull of the Abyss (or whatever it's called now) for my 3rd spell and throw the rest of my points into passives so I'll just have 3 spells to work with instead of the usual 4.  Feels like I'm getting more creative with my mage builds.  Not sure if I'll switch things up for my other characters, though...
